-Lucy's P.O.V-

I woke to the birds singing outside. The last day of summer finally arrived. I stretched and sat up, removing my sleeping mask. I had no idea how well these things worked. My grandma use to wear one, she always told me how it helped her sleep. I use to think you'd wake up with it around your neck and it scared me. Until now. I threw back my covers and swung my legs off the bed. I smiled to myself, picking up the photo strip of me and my boyfriend, Bobby Brown. I never knew I could love somebody as much as I love him.

Our relationship became a lot stronger over this summer. We spent a majority of the time together, when we weren't hanging out with our own friends. Fortunately for me, one of my closest friends, Georgia, was dating his friend, Dutch making it easier for our groups to combine and hang out. For a long time me and the girls couldn't stand the Cobra's, but since being with Bobby, we got to know them all a little better. We ever formed a friendship with their girlfriends.

"Are you going out today?" My mom asked as I entered the kitchen.

"I am" I replied, grabbing a bottle of apple juice from the fridge.

"With Bobby?"

"No, he's spending time with his own friends today, he's also got karate practice. I'm going to the beach with the girls" I told my mom.

"Girls?" She asked wondering which girls in particular.

"Lauren, Ella, Georgia, Susan, Ali, Barbara and two other of Ali's friends" I took a handful of grapes from the fruit bowl. "I think"

"Just be safe"

She kissed the side of my head. I told her I would. Hearing a car horn outside, I checked the time, that would be Lauren. Yes that's right, the girl can finally drive! I said goodbye to my mom and walked to the door. I kissed my finger tips and placed them on the photograph of my grandmother quickly and left the house. Lauren continued to honk her horn, I lifted my arms up in the air In a questioning way with a confused smile in my face, she turned to me beaming.

"I have neighbours now stop that" I giggled climbing into the passenger seat.

"Sorry girl but you take too long" she told me. She removed her sunglasses "You know, you've had such a glow to you since you and Bobby got together"

"You think so?" She nodded and I glanced out of the window.

"Let's go grab dumb and dumber" She referred to Georgia and Ella.

We all cheerfully greeted each other, shockingly we all arrived at the same time. Talk about perfect timing. There wasn't many people on the beach today, I honestly thought there would have been. We found a spot and lay down our towels, stripping out of our clothes, leaving us in our swimsuits. I leaned my hands back on the towel, soaking in the hot sun. My skin needed this. Ali's radio playing in the background.

"I'm so not ready for school" Lauren whined.

"I personally can't wait to go back" Barbara disagreed. "I've missed cheerleading, my bones are starting to seize up" We all giggled at her statement.

"Hey are guys going to try out for cheerleading?" Susan asked.

"Absolutely not" Me and Lauren spoke in unison.

"I am and so is Ella" I turned to Ella in shock as Georgia spoke.

"She didn't want to do it on her own, so why not" Ella said sitting up and brushing the sand off of her hands.

"What are you looking at?"

I looked over my shoulder to see what Ali was staring at. I saw a group of boys playing soccer and they were heading our way. They were guys from our school, one of them being Freddy Fernandez, I had math with him. I frowned as they ended up next to us, kicking sand over in our direction. The rest of the girls started laughing, watching them try to tackle the ball off of each other. One boy stopped, staring directly at Ali, clearly lovestruck. He must be new because I sure as hell didn't recognise him. I watched Ali stare back at him with a wide smile. I raised my eyebrows at the two.

"Watch it!" Lauren spat, the ball hitting her back. I grabbed the ball and handed it to Ali. She caught it and threw it at the mysterious boy, who started to juggle the ball. Quite impressive I must say. The other girls stood up and made their way over to the sea. I waited for Ali before following the others.

"I think he likes you Ali" I teased, Susan and Barbara joining in. Ali quickly glanced back. I think she may have a little crush.

I'M BACK!! You guys wanted a sequel and you got one. So as you could probably tell, this story will be based off of the movie, but mainly following Lucy and Bobby! I hope you guys enjoy this one. Stay Blessed xo
