After few days

Avni's house

It was Arya's 6th birthday, for which avni organised a small party. She invited some of her closed friends and relatives and arya's friends.

She decorated the house with arya's favourite colour balloons and baked a cake for her.

Ali and Riya also arrived early. They helped avni with the decorations.

At 8 p.m.

Avni : sab kuch ho gya na.....k..kuch bcha toh nhi....

Ali : No avni....everything is done....decor done....cake done....gifts done....or ab guests bhi aate honge....

Riya : Avni....aarya ready hui....?

Avni : Haa main dekhti hu jaake
....and Ali...Riya tum log please itne guests ko dekh lena...

Ali amd riya nodded..while avni rushed to arya's room to see if she is ready....

Avni : Arya...my princess...are you ready for your birthday party..... she entered while asking excitedly....

but when she opened the door....she found arya (in her regular clothes) siting on her bed....with an upset look on her face.

Avni : Aryaa.....kya hua bacha...aap..aap ready nhi hue...? she asked settling herlsef next to her..

Arya (upset) : No mumma...i dont wanna go out....i dont wanna celebrate..... she said being grumpy

Avni looked and then smilingly side hugged her and asked....

Avni : hmmm....so meri arya upset hai.....Bolo kya chahiye....?

Arya : Mumaa...i dont like this dress....(pointing at her birthday dress)....i dont want to wear this...

Avni : Par bacha... ye dress toh aapne khud select ki thi na...or aapko yahi dress pehni thi apne birthday par.....

Arya : Haan....but ab mujhe ye dress nhi pasand......I WANT NEW DRESS...

Avni lovingly cupped her face and said.....

Avni : But iss waqt hum new dress kaha se layenge arya....or dekho sab guest bhi aa gye honge....sab aapka wait kr rhe honge.....Toh abhi ye pehen lo......Or mumma aapko kal new dress dila degi....pkka promise....

Arya : No ....no...no mumaa.....mujhe new dress pehenni hai....varna main party me nhi jaungim....

she start behaving like a stubborn child and refuse to wear that dress.
She only want a new dress to wear.

Avni know that she is just throwing tantrums.....But she cant even scold her today...as its her birthday.

Avni : Aarya....please maan jao...

And in the mean while....someone enters the door.....

Who wants a new dress....?

Arya immediately recognizes the voice and jumped in excitement....

Aarya : Daadi.....Daadu..... she said excitedly

Neil's mother shweta and father Prakash khanna...enters arya's room with lots of gifts in their hands for their grand daughter Arya.

Arya immeditely jumped on them and hugged them tight....

Avni smiled....

Shweta : Dekho aarya.....hum aapke liye kya laaye hai...?

She opened a box and arya's eyes sparkled as it was a beautiful white couloured dress for her.

Arya : Wow.....new dress...This is so pretty.....thank you daadi....I love you..... she got excited and hugged her

Shweta kissed her forehead and said..

Shweta : Happy birthday bacha...And I love you too... She smiled and kissed her cheeks.

Prakash also bend down to her level.

Prakash : Happy birthday meri pyaari si gudiya....bhagwan tere chehre par yuhi muskurahat bnaye rkhe.....he blessed her and hugged her..

Arya : Thank you daadu.... she said...

Avni was watching and was smiling all this while. She is thankful that, if not her father but atleast arya has love of her grand parents.

Arya : Mumma...see my new dress....Isnt it pretty....

Avni smiled at her happiness

Avni : Yes beta..its very pretty..
chlo fir ab jaldi jaldi ready ho jate hai...okay...ab toh aapko new dress bhi mil gayi....

Shweta : Avni hum bahar jaate hai....tum arya ko ready kr do...

Avni nodded...

They left, while avni start getting arya ready for her birthday party.

After sometimes,

Avni entered the hall along with Arya....while everyone hooted for the birthday girl.

Arya was surpised to see the beautiful decorations and her friends in the party.

Avni smiled....she looked at her face

Avni : Arya....you liked it....

Arya : Yes....i loved it mummaa.....she was happy....she hugged avni and said....thank you mumma.....i love you so much...!

Avni : I love you too meri jaan.....she said kissing her forehead.

Ali : Hey arya....sara credit mumma ko....thodi help humne bhi ki thi...he said teasing her....while Arya gets surprised seeing her ali chachu.

Arya : Ali chachuuu.....
she ran to him and Ali bend down and took her into his arms....

Ali : Happy birthday my doll...chachu loves you so much....

Arya felt happy..... Riya also wished her the same. Arya was being pampered by everyone and was showered with lots of hugs and kisses.

Soon the party started, arya starts enjoying with her friends and played games. Other were smiling and watching them play.

Avni went near shweta. She stood with her. They both smiled looking at arya...while avni said...

Avni : Thank you so much aunty....Arya ke liye ye dress lane ke liye....

Shweta (smiled) : Issme thank you kaisa avni.....aakhir humare paas jo hai...sab aarya ka hi toh hai...
Or usski muskaan se badkar humare liye kuch nhi hai.....she said adoring at arya...

Avni smiled....

Avni : Aapko pta hai.... vo toh zidd par add gayi thi.....ki mujhe new dress hi chahiye....party me aane ke liye bhi ready nhi thi......Usse bs nayi dress chahiye thi..... she said making both of them laugh

Shweta smiled and said....
"Haa...Bohot ziddi hai arya.... Bilkul apne papa pe gayi hai.....tumhe pta hai neil bhi....she stopped in between at the mention of neils name...

Avni's smile also vanished at his name....She looked down....

Shweta realised and felt sad....

Shweta : I....i am sorry avni beta....

Avni : Its okay aunty......I...i am fine.....

Shweta kept her hand on her shoulder and said...

Shweta : Avni.....beta main janti hu....tumhare liye aasan nhi hai ye sab. Neil ne jo kiya uske liye main use kabhi maaf nhi krungi....kabhi nhi....

Avni : N..nhi aunty....aap aisa mat boliye....N...neil....neil aapka beta hai. Or mujhe aaj bhi bohot guilty feel hota hai....ki meri vajah se aap logo ne bhi usse saare contact tod diye.... she said looking at her....

Shweta : Nhi avni beta.....Tujhe guilty feel krne ki zarurat nhi hai....Neil ye deserve krta hai....jab use teri fikar nhi thi....toh hume bhi uski koi gikar nhi hai.....
Or hum hmesha tere saath hai.... she said

Avni felt blessed.....she smiled and hugged her.

Breaking the hug they stood there and start looking at the kids enjoying and playing....

Shweta adored arya and said....

Shweta : haaye..kitni pyaari lag rhi hai meri bachi....kisi ki nazar na lge... she said adoring arya

Avni smiled....

After sometimes shweta said...

Shweta : A...avni....ek....ek baat bolu beta.... she asked hesitantly...

Avni : Haa...boliye na aunty... she turned at her and said.

Shweta : Beta....tum....tum humare saath aakar kyu nhi rehti.....? Ayesha ji ke jaane ke baad....tum bilkul akeli ho gyi ho....tumhare sath koi nhi hai....
Or hum bhi akele hai....Tum or arya humare sath rhoge...to hume bohot khushi milegi.....Or arya ko bhi ek parivar milega... she expressed her wish desperately.

Avni looked down and said....

Avni: I...I am sorry aunty...aap please bura mat manna,
But main...main vha aakar nhi reh skti.... (she said looking down)
lekin arya....arya to aap hi ki beti hai....Aap log jab chahe usse aake mil sakte hai....kabhi bhi....she said smilingly

Shweta : Its okay beta....main...main samajh sakti hu.....she said keeping her hand on her.

Shweta gets little sad....She wished that arya and avni stays with them.....but she understands her feelings. Afterall how can she live in a house, on which she has no rights to live in.
It will be difficult for her to live in that house, which was once meant to be her would be house.....but neil didn't let that happen.

After some times, Avni kept her emotions aside, and focused on arya's birthday party.

It was cake cutting time. She brought the cake...and everyone gathers around the table.....

Avni bends next to Arya, and everyone else were also around...

Arya felt so excited watching the cake..."Wow mumma.....its very beautiful cake.....thank you for this....."

Avni chuckled at her cuteness...

She kissed her and said..."Anything for you beta...."

Avni : Arya....blow the candles and make a wish.... she said

Arya smiled. While avni also closed her eyes....and made a wish for her....

"God...please give a healthy and a beautiful life to my daughter.
Fulfill all her wishes and give her whatever she wants"

While Arya who had everything in her life.....still wished for that one thing....

she tightly squeezed her eyes and made a wish...."God...aap please mere papa ko mere pas bhejdo....mujhe bas ek baar unse milna hai....Unse puchna hai....ki vo meri mumma ko chodke kyu gaye the...Please God..plz bring my dad back.....Meri bs yahi ek wish hai...."

She wished....and then opening her eyes...she blowed the candles.....

While everyone else clapped....and hooted....

Avni smiled....and she helped and cuts the cake with Arya.....!
