They entered the room...and what they saw was a surprise to their eyes.

Their little 6 years old girl was holding the guitar in her hands, (with little diffuculty).....but her fingers were moving all smoothly on it. She is playing the guitar with so much grace and perfection.

The tune she played was so soothing to the ears, that it gained the attention of neil and avni...and they had to ran inside the room immediately.

They both looked at aarya with wide surprised eyes, as they were shocked that how she is she playing guitar...?

Neil : Is she learning that in school...? neil asked out of shock to avni while he was looking at aarya only

Avni : N..no....i mean she...she has a guitar in the house but...but she hasn't learnt yet....I am also speechless...she answered while she was also in the same shock as neil.

Neil looked at avni and she looked back at him.

Neil gave a slight smile, realising the fact that his daughter is not only born with his likes and dislikes, but has also inherited his talents.

He went near aarya, sat next to her.....and watch her play guitar, while having a smile on his face.

Avni was still in surprise but she also jad this smileon her face...watching how beautifully her daughter is playing that guitar.

Neil : Aarya....aapne ye kaha se sikha bacha...? he asked her while sitting next to her....

Aarya stopped playing the guitar, she instantly looked at him and replied...

Aarya : Kahi se nhi....

Neil : Toh phir how..how are you playing this so...so perfectly....?
he asked in his surprise

Aarya : You played it....i just copied you papa....maine toh bs aapko dekhke copy kiya....
she spoke sweetly in her innocence....as she is unaware that what she did, was not that easy to copy.

That little girl is unaware of this fact that she has inherited this talent from her father. She is born with it.

Neil looked at avni, who is standing near the bed, and she looked at him. They both could not contain this happiness that their daughter can play guitar, at such a small age.

It was not beleivable that a 6 year old girl canbplay guitar just by copying someone. Neil and Avni were feeling so emotional and so happy that they can't express their feelings in words.

Neil smiled, he cupped aarya's face in his hands and looked at her in happiness and said....

Neil : Aarya you....you have no idea bacha....ki aapne aaj mujhe kitni badi khushi di hai....You made my day.....its unbeleivable aarya.....aap guitar play kr sakte ho....(while he was saying all this to aarya...avni was smiling and feeling so delightful at the moment )

neil continued.....

Neil : I am so happy aarya...I am so proud....Now its final...hum saath me guitar play krenge....saath me sing krenge...and i will...i will teach you more......but....but you are already so good aarya.....
Tell me...do..do you want to be a rockstar...? he asked smirkingly at her...

And aarya just bursted with excitement, she excitedly nodded in  happiness...

Aarya : Ofcourse papa...i always always wanted to be rockstar....Just like you..... she said tilting her head. Her eyes were brightened with happiness and while neil had the most happiest moment of his life.

Neil : Aww....meri jaan...You are already my rockstar baby.... he said and took her in his arms, hugging her tightly in his embrace.

Avni rejoiced with happiness. She felt so proud of her daughter. The day has truly brought so much happiness in the house.

The next moment , neil sat aarya in his lap, and start playing guitar with her. He held her hands,and played guitar. Their hands were moving in sink.....while they were looking so damn adorable.

Avni smiled while adoring them. She couldn't resist and she immediately took her phone and secretly captured the moment, while made a small video of them playing the guitar together.

............

Times passed like this. They were so busy in enjoying and were so lost in the happiness.....that they forgot the reality and that everything is still not that perfect as it seems to be.

As the clock shows 8 p.m.. , reality hits avni and she realised that its time to go home now.

Thought she knew aarya will be very upset, even she don't want to snatch this happiness from her.....but she has no other option.....

She stood up to leave and asked aarya softly...

Avni : Aarya....chlo ab bohot late ho gya hai....we...we have to go home now.....

And as she said, neil turned his gaze towards her, his smile vanished instantly and he looked at avni in pain....

Amongst all these happy moments, he completely forgot that these happy family moments are still a dream for him. Things are complicated, and everything is not just perfect as it looks.

Avni looked at him, and they shared an eye lock full of emotions. She had not even imagined in her life....that all these happiness which comes naturally to everyone, will be so complicated for her. And for the first time in life , she is feeling completely blank and confused.

She don't know how she will make things work, what is going to be the next step and what she should do.

She dont know anything. Right now she is just dealing with her mixed emotional feelings.

While these feeling are mutual for both neil and avni, but right now neil is just not ready to let aarya go. He feels like a piece of him is detaching from him and he will be all alone again......

Aarya also made a sad face. She looked at neil and then she looked at avni, as they both were lost in each others eyes.

She sadly got up from bed and held avni's hands. This broke their eye contact, and neil looked at aarya, he just  wants to hide her somewhere and never wants to let her go anywhere.

Avni : Aarya.....say bye to papa...

Aarya was not looking up, as she don't wants to go.

Neil noticed and he came forward, he bend down to his knees and cupped her face.

Neil : Hey ! don't be sad aarya....papa will come and meet you soon....but be happy and smile...okay.....?

Aarya looked up and nodded half heartedltly.

Neil smiled and kissed her forehead...and hugged her tightly.He then broke the hug and stood up.

He got up and looked at avni.

Neil : Avni...kaafi der ho gyi hai...main....main drop kar du....?

he asked in concern, to which avni looked at him and replied coldly....

Avni :  No, thanks neil...aaj tak akele hi sambhala hai.....aage bhi sambhal lungi....Tum chinta mat kro....I will manage.  she said looking deep in his eyes.

No matter how much she has accepted him, tried to forget everything and be normal with him....but some part of her heart, is still not ready to forgive him.

She knows how much he means to aarya and to her, but his face still reminds her of all the pain he has given her.

They shared an eye lock with each other for few minutes. After which, avni left with aarya and neil stood their looking at them leaving.

............

After sometimes

Avni was driving the car,while aarya was sitting at the passenger seat. Aarya was very tired so she started closing her eyes in sleep. Avni noticed her and she stopped to tie the seat belt to her.

She also bend the seat down...and let her lay down comfartably, while tied the seat belt to protect her.

After which she starts driving again. It was an empty road, but still she was driving slow, as she was lost in deep thoughts. She was driving but her mind was somewhere else.

Those happy and smiling faces of Neil and Aarya were contantly flashing in her mind. How they perfectly fits with each other, and how those small sweer moments brings a smile on her face.

But Then , she thought of all those years she has spent without neil, upbringing aarya alone. She remembered how neil left her and what all she had to suffer.

On one side she do wants to forgive neil and move on in life, to let aarya enjoy a normal childhood with both her parents.....BUT, On the other side its becoming difficult for her to forget everything and move on...

Avni is feeling very confused in these two situations and got stuck in between her dual thoughts. She don't know What her heart actually wants....What she actually wants.....?

While on the other hand , neil was finding it hard to live with his guilt. He was having tears in his eyes as he got completely shattered over his destroyed fate and life......

He was crying over his own mistake....over what he has done to everyone's life. It's hard for him to live with this guilt anymore.

He was feeling helpless, he was losing all the hopes, and he felt weak.

He went out of the house and starts walking alone on the road in that shattered condition of himself.

There was no hope left in his life and he felt like nothing will be perfect again.

Soon he saw a bar at tye roadside, and in order to reduce his pain he entered inside that nearby bar....and starts drinking.

He starts drinking alcohol, sitting near the bar table, while he was feeling emotionally weak...and completely broken from inside.

..........

After sometimes, someone saw him from a distance. He silently came and sat next to him and said......

Ali : Peene ne sirf tumhari takleef kam hogi.....khatam nhi.

It was Ali, he was passing by the road when he saw neil in that shattered condition. He followed him inside the bar and then saw him drinking conyinuosly.

Ali was looking at him , standing at a distance, his blood was boiling in anger seeing him for the first time after what so many years......

He fisted his wrist in anger, as he wants to leave and didnt even wished to stay and talk to him.

But then, his anger suddenly got down, when he had a  thought about Avni and Aarya.

His feets stopped thinking about avni and aarya. As he is the only one who has closely observed them in those difficult past years....he is the only one who is well aware of their pain, and what all they had suffered in these years. He is well aware of what avni and aarya had missed in their life.

Therefore despite being angry on neil, he knew that they need him.....Avni will never tell anybody, but ali knows that she needs neil and he is the only one who can fill the emptiness in their lives.

Neil recognized the voice, and he slowly looked at him to confirm. He was surprised and was happy to see ali.

Neil : A....ali.....

Ali then looked at him and continued...

Ali : Jante ho neil...tumhe aaj achanak itne saalo baad dekhke mujhe gussa to bohot aaya.....mann kiya ki 2 thappad lgau or puchu tumse, ki itni ghatiya harkat ki kaise thi tumne....tumhari himmat kaise hui thi avni ko chodke jaane ki.....

he said and neil looked down in shame...he took another sip from his glass and finished in a single go.

Ali : Par fir mujhe avni ka khyall aa gya... he said and neil looked back at ali.....

Ali : Haan neil....kyunki tum chahe kitni galtiya kar lo....lekin main janta hu ki avni ke dil me aaj bhi sirf tum ho...Vo kabhi tumhe bhul nhi paayi....or nahi tumhare pyaar ko bhul paayi....

Voh kabhi kahegi nhi neil....par main janta hun ki usse kitni zarurat hai tumhari. Aarya ka khyal toh voh akele rakh sakti hai.....lekin uska...uska khyal kaun rkhega ? Aakhir usse bhi kisi ki zarurat hai.....jo 'Uska' khyal rkhe.....he said and neil listened patiently looking at him....

Ali : Jis umar me tum apne sapne jee rhe the na neil....usi umar se avni ne zimmedariya uthani shuru kar di thi.....'Tumhare' bache ke khatir, voh apne sapne bhul gayi neil...

Young to voh bhi thi na....sapne to uske bhi rhe honge....? Kya usse haq nhi tha apni zindagi jeene ka ? Lekin nahi....usne tumhare pyaar to janm diya...or apni puri zindagi uske naam kar di....

Tumne sirf uski khushiya nhi....uske sapne bhi cheene hai neil. Tumne sirf apni sochi....or aaj bhi, tum sirf apni takleef, apne dard ke baare me soch rhe ho.....he said in a bit louder tone.

Neil looked at him and suddenly his eyes got filled with tears hearing all that...

Neil : I know ali...i know. Main sab jaanta hu.....apni galtiyo ka ehsaas hai mujhe...or pachtava bhi hai.
Lekin main aisa kya kru ki jisse sabko yakeen dila saku....aisa kya karu ki avni mujhpar yakeen kare.

Main kaise yakeen dilau...ki mujhme nhi thi samajh uss waqt, nhi samajh paya ki kya karne jaa rha hu main...or uska anjaam kya hoga....

Lekin aaj....aaj mujhme samajh hai.....aaj to mujhe pta hai ali ki mujhe kya chahiye....toh phir kyuu....kyuuu avni mera yakeen nhi kar paa rhi......Kyu voh mujhe maaf nhi kar paa rhii....Kyuuuu.....he said  shattering down.

Ali : Kyunki tumne sirf ye dekha neil..... ki vo kya chahti hai....
Uska dil kya chahta hai ye socha hai kabhi ? he spoke softly and neil then looked seriously  at him

Ali : Arew tum to avni ko behtar jante ho neil, vo bahar se kitni hi strong dikhaye khudko, lekin andar se vo utni hi akeli hai, jitne ki tum. Use tumhari utni hi zarurat hai, jitni ki tumhe....

Haan neil....Vo chahe lakh mana kare.....lekin Uska dil tumhe chahta hai neil....par vo khud ye baat nhi samajh paa rhi hai.....

Aarya ke aane ke baad vo khudko to jaise bhul hi gayi hai....Tumhe usse vapis lana hoga neil, abhi vo sirf aarya ki mom banke rehti hai, lekin tumhe vo pehle wali avni ko vapis lana hoga....

Use vo pyaar dena hoga neil, jo usne khoya hai....jo usne sabse jyada miss kiya hai.....jo vo deserve karti thi...or jo 'tumahari' responsibilty tha.....

Neil finally understood what he is trying to say.....he smiled and looked at ali, and he just hugged him tightly.

Unable to resist, Ali also hugged him back and closed his eyes in bliss. Neil felt so blessed to have a friend like Ali.

He now understood everything and understood what avni actually needs (which she herself does'nt know), and now neil know what he has to do.

The time to say sorry and ask for forgiveness is gone, now its time to bring the old AvNeil back.....and light up the long lost romance . (*wink*)
