Avni : Par tum nhi the neil....tum nhi the vhaa......vo 2 mahine mere liye sabse mushkil the neil. Main na so paati thi....na...na kuch khaa paati thi. Apni beti se dur rehna.....mere liye bohot mushkil tha neil.....and at that time....i...i needed you....I needed you so badly neil......she said shattering down.

Avni could not hold her tears anymore....and she started crying....cupping her own face in gasp.

Neil looked at her, and he felt broken watching her like that. He felt a harsh pain in his heart, like someone has stabbed him, right away.

The more he looks at avni...the more he wants to hold her and snatch all her pain.

He moved closer and held her hands to hold her......avni starts moving his hands away......but neil didn't stopped this time. He held her hands and tried to hug her but she starts revolting. She was crying and was completely shattered.

Neil cant see her crying and shattering, he wants to hold her to soothe her emotional pain that she is going through.....but avni didnt want him to hold her.

She got completely shattered and starts hitting neil on his chest with her both the hands, and said while gasping.....

Avni : I hate you neil...i hate you...i just hate....hate you...i hate youuu neil...i hate you..... she cried and kept on saying this and kept on hitting him, removing all her frustration on him.....but he still didn't left her hands and somehow held her close to his chest.

Neil : maar lo avni...jitna mann kare maarlo......he said as she was trying to free herself from his hold..but he didn't wants to let her. His grip was tight and he held her close......while she was contantly hitting him removing all her frustrations of years...

Neil : maar lo avni....hit me...slap me....or jo saza deni hai de do....mujhe manzur hai.....
lekin ab main tumhe or saza nhi de sakta....tumhe aise or takleef me nhi dekh sakta main.....nhi dekh sakta !

he said while he was having tears in his eyes.

Avni kept on hitting him but soon she stopped and cried hard.....she could not revolt anymore....and after removing all her frustration on him....she finally lost and placed her head on his chest.

Neil closed his eyes and took her into his embrace,with his both the hands around her.

Neil : tum janti ho avni.....main yha aana nhi chahta tha...kyunki main janta tha....ki tum bikhar jaogi...tut jaogi mujhe itne saalo baad dekhke.....
Lekin main galat tha avni....main hamesha galat tha......
Tumhe meri zarurat thi....or main nhi thaa..... he said emotionally

Avni heard him and remain silent as she couldn't deny this...she needed him....then and now.

No matter how much she tried to stay strong.....and pretend to be fine....but her heart can never let her stay strong for long time..... Her heart just gave up the moment she is with neil. She always fell weak in front of him. and she could not help her feelings.

........

Soon, silence prevailed...they didn't talked more and just let their emotions do the talking. Avni's tears dried, she had rested her head on neil's chest, while neil had encircled his arms around her.....holding her in embrace.

It was already 11:30 p.m., they didn't realised when the sleep took over and they dozzed off, staying in that sitting position only.

Next day

Morning

The window was open and the sun rays falls on their faces. They were sleeping while avni's head was on neil's chest and neil's was rested at the head of the couch on which they were sitting on.

Neil's eyes opened first. The rays falling on his face woke him up. He realised his position and saw avni resting in his arms. He looked at her and kept looking. The warmth of having her beside him makes him feel at peace.

He slowly settled her hairs behind her ears. She was in deep sleep. Neil slowly got up and placed her head down, lying her straight on the couch.

He then searched and brough a blanket from inside and covered her, not disturbing her sleep. He then closed the windows so that she can sleep peacefully for a few more hours.

He then looked at her from a distant and smiled a bit. In order to not make her feel awkward when she woke up, he decided to leave.

He then went inside aarya's room, to look onto his daughter before leaving. His little girl was so peacefully sleeping that he could not take his eyes off her.

He realised what he has missed in life. He can reach anywhere, but he can only find peace....at home.

He left, and after few hours Avni woke up. She opened her eyes and realising that she is sleeping on couch, she got up with a little surprise.

She looked around and no one was there. She then remembered the last night and that how she didnt realised when she slept. She then looked at the blanket, and realised neil would have done this.

It was just an emotional moment in which they got carried away.....but it had changed nothing. Avni hadn't forgiven him yet....and neil still has a long way to go.

The normal day begins for avni. She made breakfast, woke up aarya....got her ready for school and then they left. She drope aarya at school and headed to her office. She got busy in her work.

After two hours, she was casually checking her phone's calender when shd noticed that she had an important meeting with her clients scheduled today at the client place.

Avni : Ohh no.....how could i forget. i am late...mujje abhi client office jana hoga.... But abhi toh 3 bjne wale hai....aarya ko school se pick karna hai..... she talked to herself and kept thinking about aarya.

Avni : Ali.....haan ali ko call karti hu....vo usse pick krke apne sath le jayega... she thought.

She was about to dial his number...when her fingers stopped.......she thought for a second, and then slide down to her contact list and looked at the neil's contact number.

She decided to call neil instead, as in that case neil will also get time to spend with aarya.

She thought a lot whether to dial or not...but finally she dialed after thinking alot.

On the other side, Neil got a smile recieving avni's call. He immediately picked and said...

Neil : Hello Avni.....

Avni : Neil...voh actually....mujhe ek bohot important kaam hai aaj.....and i am already very late......toh kya tum aaj....aarya ko pick karke apne saath le jaoge......?
she asked hesitantly....although she knows that neil would be more than happy to do that.

Neil : Ofcourse avni.....why not. Tum bilkul tension mat lena....main sab sambhal lunga....okay....you just relax and go do your work.... he said happily as he was more than excited to be with aarya.

Avni : Thanks neil....

she said...and then they both remain silent. Before cutting the call neil said...

Neil : And avni.....dont worry....main uska khyal rkhunga. I promise.
he said assuring her, as he knew she will be worried.

Avni smiled, and then they both cuts the call.

Neil immediately took the car and starts driving towards aarya's school....excited to spend his day with aarya.

But there was huge traffic on the roads. He tried to be fast....but the roads were jammed.

Neil : Dammit..... he banged his hand on steering wheel, as he got stuck in traffic. He looked at the watch and realised that he will be late and school must have overed.

...........

On the other hand, school bell rings and children ran out to the door.

Aarya also excitedly came out like always, but when she reached and didn't saw her mother around, she got upset.

She looked here and there, but no one was there. Soon oarents started taking their kids away, while aarya stood there alone.

The security guard came and asked her..."kya hua beta....mumma nhi aayi ?"

Aarya made a sad face and denied.

Security guard : Koi nhi beta....muma aa jayegi....aap yahi wait kro....okay...or kahi jana nhi... he asked to which aarya nodded.

She stood their, looking here and there, but she saw no one coming.

But then, her eyes looked in the direction where she saw some fathers who have came to take their daughters .

She looked at them, how fathers loving held their daughters, love them and took them along. She got really sad looking at that......Her innocent little heart could not hold her emotions, and she started sobbing. Her precious tears started falling on her cheeks.

After struggling with the traffic on the road, restless neil reached school.

When he reached....he saw no one, as everyone has left and the school was empty. His eyes widened in shock and his heart skipped a beat when he didnt found aarya there....

Neil : Aarya......aaryaa.....aaryaa... he start looking for her here and there like a mad man. His body starts shivering a d he could not process where has she gone....

He looked for her in the entire school.....the classes, canteen, playground...everywhere. He looked for her everywhere, but she was nowhere.

He was getting more and more restless, and panick was getting on his nerves.

After looking for her everywhere, when be didnt found her.... he came rushing to the principals office.

He jerked his hands at the table and asked the principal in his boiling anger.....

Neil : WHERE THE HELL IS MY DAUGHTER....? KAHA HAI MERI BETI....?

The principal was taken aback at his sudden shout....

Principal : Excuse me....what...what happened...? Or aap kiski baat kar rhe hai....?

Neil : Aarya, first standard.....
I was just a  few minutes late and i couldnt find my daughter in school...Where is she...?
How could your staff be so irresponsible. Bacho ki responsibilty aapki hai naa....to aap log itne laparwah kaise ho sakte hai......
Jab tak koi unhe lene nhi aata...aap kaise bacho ko akela chhod sakte hai.....I am warning you, agar meri beti ko kuch hua na...i will not spare your school....he was shouting in his anger...while his eyes were cold blooded filled with anger.....

Principal : Dekhiye aap...aap please shant ho jaiye.....bachi yahi kahi hogi....kahi nhi gayi hogi.
Aap chaliye mere saath...hum security guard se puchte hai.... she said

Neil followed her and they both came to the main gate of the school...

The security guard was standing there, and neil's anger boiled more looking at him. He could not afford such carelessness.

The Principal asked the security guard if he knows anything about aarya....and he replied....

Security guard :  Haan madam....kuch der pehle ek choti bachi thi yaha pe...akeli khadi thi....apni mummy ka wait kar rhi thi......

Principal : Toh...toh kahan hai voh.....? she asked , while neil was standing there.....getting more n more restless and impatient.

The security guard had no answers....he looked down in guilt and became silent.

Principal : Bolo kaha gayi vo bachii...or tum kya kar rhe the uss waqt....How could you leave a girl alone...? Tumhe duty pe rkha kis liye hai.... the principal scolded him aloud

the security guard started stealing eyes from them.....he didnt have anything to say as he left when aarya was standing alone...and he didn't know where she went.

Neil fisted his wrist....he was fuming in anger.......he immediately held his collars in anger and shouted at him.......

Neil : AGAR MERI BETI KO KUCH BHI HUA NA......toh I SWEAR....i swear I WILL NOT SPARE YOU.....! he warned him in anger and jerked him away.

The principal also looked down, feeling sorry for such irresponsibility of the school staff.

Neil didnt want to waste time. Right now he just wanted to find aarya anyhow.....at any cost.

He left in anger, while his heart was just praying for aarya's safety and wellbeing. He didn't want anything but to see his daughter all fine.

He started looking for aarya in nearby places, he was shouting her name loudly asking people about her. He was looking for her like a mad man. His eyes were filled with tears while his heart was aching in pain.
