Neil : Please Avni.....Humara baat karna zaruri hai. MERE LIYE NA SAHI.....LEKIN AARYA KE LIYE...?
he said looking in her eyes......

Avni looked at Neil. She didnt want to talk to him anymore, She didnt want to listen him....but hearing Aarya's mention she just stopped.

She realised that now they are not alone...now its not only about them.....but Aarya's future is also connected to theirs.

Neil : Please....sirf ek chance...neil pleaded with a genuine request.

There was honesty on his face. Avni looked at him...and she agreed.

For the sake of Aarya and her future, she agreed to give him a chance to explain. She agreed to listen him.

Avni nodded. Neil smiled. They both sat on the nearby bench in the garden.

Neil start telling her what happened 7 years ago......

Neil :
Avni, tumhe yaad hai....college time se hi main try kr rha tha industry me jane ke liye...Kitne auditions diye...kitne logo se mila....kitni koshish ki....lekin mujhe kahi break nhi mila...

College khtm hone ke baad bhi maine himmat nhi haari.....try karta rha......apna 100% diya...but fir bhi...phir bhi kahi kuch nhi hua...

Ek chance avni....mujhe sirf ek chance chahiye tha...apna talent audience tak pahuchane ka...
Lekin koi mujhe voh ek chance bhi nhi dena chahta tha.....

Avni was listening him patiently.....She has decided to give him a chance to explain his point of view.....so she was quitely sitting next to him and listening patiently......

Neil continued.....

Mom dad ne bhi keh diya tha....ki business join kar lo.....music me tumhara kuch nhi hoga.....
Voh mujhe or aise nhi dekh sakte the....unhe meri fikar hone lagi thi.

Meri bhi himmat khtm ho gyi thi Avni......main...main thak chuka tha.....Bachpan se maine sirf ek sapna dekha tha......singer banne ka....logo ki bheed me gaana gaane ka.....Apni....apni khudki pehchan banane ka....

(neil was telling this to avni, but he didn't realised when his eyes got wet)

Lekin itna try karne ke baad bhi jab kuch nhi hua....toh....toh main haar gaya tha avni...mujhe lga ki mujhe apne uss sapne ko bhulna hoga.....main...main puri tarah se toot chuka tha Avni......

neil looked down as he got emotional remembering his bitter past days of struggle....

Avni slowly looked at him getting emotional...She is well aware of his struggle days....she knew he gets emotional.

She said......

Avni : Lekin main toh thi na tumhare saath neil....

Neil looked up at her and she contined.........

Avni : Yaad hai tumhe, voh raat....uss din tum aaye the mere paas....Raat ke 12 bje the neil...bohot tez baarish thi....

They both looked in each others eyes.....and goes into their flashback memories......

Flashback......

Mumbai , 12 a.m.

It was raining heavily. Neil start his car and start driving fast. He called avni and told her that he is coming. He was crying continuosly in the car. He kept on wiping his tears while driving but his tears were not stopping.....

He reached outside avni's house.....stood there and waited for her.

He got completely wet due to rain. His tears got mixed with the rain drops falling on his face.

After sometimes, Avni came out holding an umbrella.....She was worried for him.

Avni : Neil...... she came in front of him and got worried seeing him like that.

He was looking completely shattered. Messy hairs....clothes fully wet in rain....and his eyes were red swollen in tears.

She immediately took him under her umbrella. She came closer to him. She closely looked at his face.
Despite heavy rains she can still see tears on his face, in his eyes. She got more worried for him.....

Avni : N.....neil....tum....tum thik ho na....?

Neil didnt said anything and he immediately hugged her tight.
He threw himself on her and took her into a bone crushing hug....and he squeezed his eyes in tears.

Avni who was holding the umbrella immediately left the umbrella and hugged him back. She placed her both the arms around him.

They both got completely wet as it was raining heavily. Avni carressed his back and asked....

Avni : N...neil...Tum...tum thik ho naa...? Neil kya hua hai btao mujhe....Neil.....?

he was crying in her arms....avni felt him crying.....

Neil : Sab khatam ho gya avni....sab khatam ho gya.... Meri life...mere sapne....sab khatam....he said in his crying voice....

Avni broke the hug and cupped his face....She carressed his face and asked....

Avni : Neil...dekho meri taraf...Kuch khatam nhi hua hai neil....kuch khatam nhi hua....

neil slowly looked at her...

Avni consoled him and said.....

Avni : M...main hun na tumhare saath....main hun neil....kuch khatam nhi hua hai....

Neil : Nhi avni.....ab bas...main thak chuka hun....ab mujhse or nhi hoga....nhi hoga mujhse or.....
I...i think dad sahi kehte hai...m..mujhe singing chdd deni chahie......m...mujhe business join kar lena chahiye....a...apne sapne ko bhul jana chahiye... he said crying.....

Avni got tears in her eyes.....she cant see him like that...it was very difficult for her to see him getting shattered and breaking inside in inside....
She was feeling helpless. She can't do anything for him....

She had seen him struggling for his dreams....seen him dying for it. But she cant help him in reducinng his pain.
Her love can only consol him but cannot snatch the pain that he is carrying inside his heart.

Avni came more closer and carresses his face.....she wiped his tears...

Avni : Bas neil.....bas.....ab or nahi. Main tumhe aise nhi dekh sakti...tum aise nhi toot sakte neil....aise himmat nhi haar sakte.
Or...or kisne kaha ki tum kuch nahi kar sakte....haan...?
Tum dekhna.....tumhara sapna, ek din zarur pura hoga. Zarur pura hoga neil.....

Neil looked in her eyes. Avni smiled. She gave him the confidence he needed. She gave him the assurance he need...

Neil saw the hopes in her eyes, the unconditional love in her eyes. She is his strength, his courage. Neil could not feel more blessed to have her in his life.

Avni looked at him. They both shared an emotional eye lock......
Avni saw the pain in his eyes.....Neil was looking at the love in her eyes. They got completely lost in each others eyes. They were already very close to each other and the heavy rainfall added more fuel to the fire.....

Avni was lost in his eyes....after few seconds, she slowly bent to his lips and kissed him passionately, (he was emotionally weak and avni wants to share all his pain ).....Neil closed his eyes at her sudden move.

Avni broke the kiss and looked at neil. Her heartbeats were racing face.
Neil opened the eyes and looked at her.....And this time, neil took control...he cupped her face and captured her lips into another kiss.

He was kissing her passionately. Their lips moved in synchronization. Their eyes were closed. Avni held his head and moved her fingers in his hairs.
The kiss was full of emotions, pain and love.

They broke the kiss and hugged each other. Their eyes were still closed.

Flashback ends

Neil and Avni (sitting on the bench) reminisces their past. They came back in senses and avni immediateky looked down, not meeting his eyes.

Neil : Haan Avni....yaad hai mujhe....voh ek ek pal yaad hai mujhe jab tumne mujhe ye ehsaas dilaya ki chahe kuch bhi ho jaaye...tum hamesha mere saath ho....mere liye ho....!

Lekin...uske baad bhi kya hua....kuch nhi hua avni. Main koshish karta rha....or hamesha nakamyaab hua..Kahi mujhe ek mauka nhi mila. Waqt beetta chala gaya.....maine dad ka business join kar liya.

Or phir ek din, mere birthday pe, TUMNE MUJHE SHAADI KE LIYE PROPOSE KAR DIYA..... he said looking at her

(avni then looked up and meet his eyes....)

Tum bohot khush thi avni......tumhara vo hasta hua chehra, mujhe aaj bhi yaad hai.
Tumhari khushi, tumhari aankho me jhalak rhi thi....Or vo ek pal main apni life me kabhi nhi bhul sakta......

Avni interuppted in between and said....

Avni : Lekin tum mujhe mna kar sakte the neil.....Tum keh sakte the ki tumhe or waqt chahiye....
Mm...mujhe koi jaldi nhi thi....

Neil : I know Avni...or maine tumhari khushi ke liye haan nhi ki thi....Balki uss din....uss din main bhi bohot khush tha....

Haan avni I was so happy that day....Mujhe laga shayad yahi meri zindagi ka agla kadam hai.....
Main tumhare saath ek nayi zindagi shuru karna chahta tha....Main sab kuch bhul ke ek nayi shuruwaat karna chahta tha...tumhare saath....
Or isiliye maine tumhe...shaadi ke liye haan kar di.  

Phir kuch hi dino baad, humari shaadi ki taiyariyan shuru hui.

Tumhe white gown wedding chahiye thi....or mujhe saare pre marriage functions...Isiliye humne dono karne ka decide kiya.

Phir functions start hue, mehendi....sangeet.....haldi.
Sab kitna khush the, meri family , tumhari family, humare friends.

Humne wedding ki shopping bhi saath me ki thi....Tumne mere liye suit select kiya...or maine tumhare liye white dress.

Neil smiled while saying all this and looked at avni....Avni also looked at him smilingly.

For some time they forgot everything and were smiling together, remembering their wedding memories.

Neil continued.....

Or tumhe yaad hai...Main tumhe kitna tease karta tha, ki church wedding me....main tumhe sabke saamne kiss krunga...Or ye sunke tum hmesha sharma jaati thi.... neil smiled and said looking at avni

Avni blushed and Neil laughed. They reminisces their beautiful past memories....they didnt  realised when they start smiling freely.

Avni smiled but she got little emotional also... as those were the last moments of happiness, that she had spent with him.

She slowly looked at him and asked....

Avni : Sab kuch itna achaa tha na neil....TOH PHIR AISA KYA HUA THA....KI TUM BINA MUJHE BATAYE.....SAB KUCH YUHI CHHOD KE CHALE GAYE........?

she asked with emotions filled eyes, looking deep in his eyes.....
