Mumbai

After reaching mumbai...Neil decided to go to his house first, to meet his parents.

He gained a lot of courage to go there. He gets himself prepared to face them and he was ready to receive all their hatred.

But when he reached there, (at his house)  he saw that in the garden (outside his house) , there was a party going on.

He looked around and saw his family and relatives present there.

And then he realised.....

Neil : Ohh no...aj...aaj toh...aaj toh mom and dad ki anniversery hai.
Shit.....how can i forget. he felt bad at the moment

It was the Anniversery party of Mr and Mrs Praksah khanna.

They have arranged a small get together with their family and just closed friends.

Avni , Arya , Ali and Riya were also present there.  Everyone was enjoying and looking happy at the occasion.

After looking everyone's faces.......Neil thought that may be it is not the right time to go in and meet them.

He didn't want to spoil there day.

Neil : I think ye sahi time nhi hai.....main nhi chahta ki meri vajah se....mom dad ka day khrab ho.... he spoke to himself.

He was about to turn back and leave, when suddenly he heard a familiar voice falling into his ears. It was of Avni.

He heard her voice and he could not take a step back......He imediately turned back and looked at in the direction of that voice coming..

And there she was....Dressed in an orange coloured gown, looking absolutely gorgeaus as always. 
He could not take his eyes off her.

He saw Avni laughing, smiling and talking.....He saw her after 7 long years.

Neil unkowingly had a slight smile on his face...and few tears in his eyes.

His heart started beating fast.
It was 7 years ago that he left this happy laughing face alone.....

And now when he is back, he saw avni smiling (hiding the pain behind her smile).
He went back to those days when they were together. He remember their days of love and happiness.

He wanted to just go in front of her and tell her whatever he has to say.
He knows that she will not forgive him, but he just wanted to pour his heart out in front of her.

But then reality hit him. He could not go inside, people will recognize him and everyone will be shocked and may be they will get upset too.

He didn't want to snatch this happiness now.
But he didn't wanted to leave also......

So , he just covered his face with a cloth, and wore a hat and went inside the garden to attend the party.

Nobody recognizes him, but he was just  present there between them.

On the other hand

Avni was smiling and talking with shweta and prakash , while Ali , Riya and little Aarya were also present around them.

Arya was standing beside avni and was busy in eating her ice cream.

Avni noticed her that she is ruining her face in ice cream. She smiled and then she took a tissue and cleaned her face bending down to her...

Avni : Arya aaram se khao beta....you will spoil your dress.... she said to aarya....after cleaning her face with a tissue.

Arya didnt listened as she was busy in eating and enjoying her ice cream.

But after some time,  Aarya dropped some ice cream on her dress.....and her dress got spoiled.

Arya : Mummaaa......she made a sad face as her dress got a stain of ice cream.... and her entire ice cream fell down.

Avni  looked and sighed....
"Aarya....maine kaha tha na aaram se khao....ab dekho....ho gyi na dress khrab"
she said in a little scolding tone

Arya looked down and gets more upset....She was at a verge of crying when shweta looked at her and she said to avni......

Shweta : Avni.....koi ni beta....bachi hai voh.....Ek kaam kar tu isse andar le jaa...or iski dress change krwa de. Arya ki kuch extra dresses humare room me rkhi hai.....

Avni nodded

Avni : Ji aunty....main abhi aati hu...
Come arya.....she held arya's hands and they both head inside the house.

...........

After changing arya's dress she was coming back to the party.
While walking she was busy in talking with aarya and she was not looking in front.

And suddenly she collided with a person......

Avni : I am sorry..... she whispered to the person....

(But the person was none other than.....Neil.)

The moment they collided....Neil's face cover fell down along with his cap.

He got little worried....But when he looked at the person he collided with,HE WAS SHOCKED.

Avni also turned back and looked at the person she collided with......and SHE was also SHOCKED.

At first she could not believe her eyes. It was unbelievable that she just saw him.

IT WAS HIM....IT WAS NEIL.......standing right in front of her eyes.

She somehow disbalanced herself...but then managed herself....
It was an utter shock for her.

She was unable to accept the reality.
Is it actually him....? (her heart kept asking her )

And her each and every senses replied....YES....It Is him....IT IS ACTUALLY HIM.

IT JUST HAPPENED. SHE JUST SAW NEIL in front of her eyes.....after 7 years.

Avni's body was numb. Her heart was beating fast. Neil looked at avni....and Avni looked him in his eyes.

Their eyes met. And they shared an eye lock.

Aarya, who was standing there hodling avni's hands could not figure out whats happening. She kept on looking both of them one by one.

But neil and avni were still. They were standing like a statues in front of each other. As if time just freezed for them.

Suddenly tears started falling down Avni's eyes.
She realised that....it is not the Neil whome she loved.....But IT IS THE NEIL......WHO LEFT HER ALONE.....Who ran away without telling her anything. Who never looked back.

She broke the eye contact and came back in her senses.

She started wiping her tears amd looking here and there.

While neil also didnt have anything to say. He also looked down and was not able to meet her eyes again.
This situation has become awkward for both of them.

And then aarya called her mumma....

Aarya : Mumma chalo na....Daadi humara wait kr rhi hogi....
Mumma chlo na pleasee..... she said pulling avni's hands.

And with that neil's eyes fall on her. Neil looked at her.....It was a sweet shock for him. He felt mixed emotions. He realised that she is the one. The one he was dying to meet....his own blood....His daughter.

His eyes blinked several times, Looking at that little peice of his heart.

He didnt even know this feeling. He dont know how he is feeling from inside. His body was having butterflies.

He just wanted to gather her in his arms... He slowly bent down. He extened his hands to gather Arya
...and was about to hold her....BUT.....

Before he could do anything, Avni turned around with a jerk and walk away (holding Aarya's hands).

She didn't looked back and Neil stood their alone....felt broken into peices.

But he realised....that he deserve all this. He deserve this hatred. He deserve this ignorance.

He realised that he can't just come suddenly.....and claim his rights on Arya.

He realised that he cannot become a father suddenly.....he cannot claim his daughter suddenly. Avni cant just forget everything in seconds.

Neil felt really embarresed. He was regretting his decision. He felt guilty.

............

On the other hand

Avni walk in anger inside the party.  There was a huge gush of emotions running throughout her body.

She somehow cooled herself for some seconds and said to shweta....

Avni - Aunty..v..vo kuch zaruri kaam aa gya.... toh mujhe abhi urgently ghar jana hoga...

Shweta : But beta aise....aise achanak....
thodi der or ruk jao....please...

Avni looked in her eyes and said...

Avni : I am sorry aunty...but mujhe jana hoga... she said and hugged her.

Shweta felt sad....but she could not say anything. She then smiled and hugged arya and kissed her cheeks.

After which Avni left with Arya....

Arya felt really sad....She didnt wanted to leave this early...

Arya : Muma.....hum abhi kyu jaa rhe hai....I dont want to go.....

she said but avni was not in her senses right now. She was just walking in anger....holding arya's hands tightly.

Arya kept on asking and ranting...

Arya : Mujhe nhi jana muma....
Muma pleasee...Why are you doing this...?
mumaaa...mummaa......bolo na why are you doing this....hum abhi kyu jaa rhe hai.....mumaaa.....

Avni got irritated and shouted at her....

Avni (shouted) : Enough Arya...dont you utter a word now..... Just keep quite and come along with me....

Arya got little scared at her loud tone.... She felt sad and got upset.

In the meanwhile Ali came in front of her. He already saw her walking out and noticed that something is wrong. Something has happened.

When he came in front, Avni stopped and so did Arya.

Arya looked at Ali and she immediately left avni's hands and hugged Ali's legs.

Ali bent down and hugged her back....while he noticed arya in tears.

He then looked at Avni, but avni was not meeting his eyes. She was looking here and there, hiding her own tears and emotions.

Ali : Avni....what happened....? Kya hua hai avni....?

Avni kept quite......she was trying hard to control her tears.

While arya spoke in tears....

Arya : Ali chachu...mujhe abhi ghar nhi jana....muma itni jaldi kyu jaa rhi hai....aap bolo na unhe....ki vo na jaaye...

Ali cupped her face and wiped her tears.

Ali : Arya....aise rote nhi hai beta....Or vese bhi, ab toh party khtm hone wali hai...Or aapko toh kal school bhi jana hai....
So you have to go home, and now no more crying...hmm.... he said and kissed her forehead.

Avni was looking here and there. Something was holding her back.
She was thinking something...and then she said to Ali.....

Avni : Ali...k..kya tum aaj Arya to apne saath le jaa skte ho....pl...please....?

Ali looked up at her. He then stood up holding arya's hands

Ali : Avni...Is there anything.....anything wrong?

Avni : I...i will tell you later Ali....But please abhi tum Aarya ko yha se le jaao....please.

Ali nodded. He held arya and took her along with him.

....... 

Afterwards....Avni took a deep breathe. Her eyes were wet. She fisted her wrist in anger.

She turned back....and walked back to the place where he saw neil.

She reached and neil was there sitting on a bench.
Watching avni coming his way.....he got up immediately.

Avni walked towards him. She stopped and stood right in front of him.

Neil looked at her. Avni looked straight in his eyes. There was anger filled in her eyes. There was only hatred in her eyes for him..... She was feeling disgusted about him.

There was so much running inside her mind.....So many emotions she was holding inside her since last 7 years.

She could not control herself...she could not hold her emotions back.....she fisted her wrist tightly....AND.......

SHE GAVE A TIGHT SLAP ON HIS FACE.....SHE SLAPPED HIM HARD.

Neil closed his eyes in ashame.

Avni : COWARD.....! she said after slapping him.
