The day was special. It was a day for which she had always dreamt of....Her wedding day. A white gown fairy tale wedding. Where she will be tyieng the unbreakable knot with her prince charming.

Everything was perfect. The hall was decorated with white and pink flowers, and people were dressed accordingly for the Christian style wedding of our beloved couple

*Neil & Avni*

A lady entered the room where our bride was getting ready for her special day.

Ayesha : Girls....Is Avni ready? Why is she taking so long.....

The moment she entered the room, she was awstruck. Avni turned around, all dressed up in a beautiful white gown, with a soft white transparent veil covering her face and a little floral crown on her head.

Avni (smilingly) : How am i looking maa....?

Her friends Saisha and Riya were standing beside her, as they helped and dressed their best friend for her wedding day.

Ayesha came forward having soft tears of happiness in her eyes , and adored her daughter. She caressed her face and said

Ayesha : You are looking so beautiful Avni...touchwood. Kisi ki nazar na lage...she said smilingly and kissed her forehead.

Avni saw tears in her eyes and said...

Avni : Maa....Aap ro kyu rahe ho..? It's my wedding day. Aapko to khush hona chhaiye.... !

wiping her tears she replied....

Ayesha : You are right avni. But main kya karu.....apni beti ko wedding gown me dekhke....main apne aansu rok nhi paayi.

Avni smiled and just hugged her mother. She closed her eyes as she was getting emotional. Both of them just let the emotions flow and shared a beautiful mother daughter moment.

After few minutes, two boys entered the room. One is Karan( saisha's husband) and other one is Ali (riya's husband)

Karan : So ladies....is our bride ready ?...he said entering the room and with that Avni broke the hug and everyone else turned their attention towards them.

Saisha : Yup...our Avni is almost ready. But tum log btao ? Neil ko akela chodd ke tum dono yaha kya kar rhe ho ?

Ali : Haan...hum bas Neil ke paas hi jaa rhe the....fir socha pehle Avni ko dekhle.....ki ye jhalli avni white wedding gown me kaisi lg rhi hogi.

Avni : Aliii......she hit him and gave him a look while everyone else laughed.

Ayesha smiled looking at their friendship.

Ayesha : Acha ab tum sab baatein kro....main jaake guests ko dekhti hu. Lekin jyada time mat lgana....jaldi se avni ko lekar hall me aajana.

Riya : Ji aunty....aap tension mat lo.

.......with that ayesha left the room leaving avni and her friends alone.

They all sat on the couch.

Karan : So.... ye humare group ki last wedding hai. Neil and Avni. he said.

Saisha : I knowww...college ke teen saal, kitni jaldi beet gye...pta hi nhi chala.

They all sat together and start reminscing there beautiful college days......where they met, and gradually became best of friends.....and the couples fallen in love with each other.

Out of these three pair of couple, Neil and Avni were most romantic and passionate of all. But still they are the last ones getting married, while karan and saisha married a year ago and riya and ali married 4 months back.

Neil was the college heatthrobe. Almost every girl of college was after him. Not only because he was charming amd handsome..... but also because he played guitar. He used to write and sing songs in college events.

But Neil was very down to earth. To him, his friends were his jaans. He loved and cared for them alot. Always available for them. And gradually he fallen in love with Avni, making them the most hottest and happening couple of the college.

Avni : Guyss......I am getting nervous. Maine kabhi nhi socha tha ki apni wedding pe main itna nervous hongi....

Karan : Ohho avni...nervous kya hona...? Tum neil se hi shaadi kr rhi ho...balki nervous to USE HONA CHAHIYE. he said teasingly while others laughed.

Avni : Stop it yrr...Woh or nervous ? Janab ka ek phone nhi aaya subah se. Use to koi fikr nhi hai meri.

Riya : Awww......you are missing him haan. Ek din bhi nhi reh sakti usse baat kre bina.... she said knowing how much she loves him.

Saisha : Lekin ab toh vo hmesha ke liye tumhara hone wala hai Avni....fir ek pal ke liye bhi usse akela mat chhodna.
Lekin sambhal ke haan....lakdiyaan abhi bhi deewani hai uski... she said teasing her

Avni felt jealous and smirked.
She stood up and went near a side table where there kept a photoframe having a cute pic of neil with her.

She held the photoframe in her hands and caresses it.

Avni : Ek baar shaadi ho jaane jo, fir dekhna tum sab.....ek bhi ladki ko isske paas nhi aane dungi main..... she said claiming her right on him, while others just smiled watching her.

Avni smiled looking at their picture. She kissed the photoframe, kept it near her chest and said....

Avni : Neil sirf Mera hai....sirf mera. HE IS MINE....FOREVER.....FOREVER MINE....!

Riya smiled came near her and said...

Riya : Okay mam...ab koi kuch nhi bolega. Neil sirf tumhara hai...khush. she said making her smile

saisha joined them and said....

Saisha : Ab chale....ya usi Neil ko wait krana hai....?

Avni smiled and nodded. They all hugged in a big group hug and smiled.

Avni's Pov

Finally, vo din aa hi gya. Jiska mujhe kabse intezaar tha.Meri or Neil ki shaadi.....!
Ufff....butterflies are roaming inside my stomach.

Or ye ajeeb si feeling. Jaise sab badal jayega.
Main khush bhi hu or nervous bhi.
Ptani humari aage ki life kaisi hogi.

Kya neil shaadi ke baad bhi mujhe utna hi pyaar krega ..jitna ki vo ab krta hai...?
Kya shaadi ke baad bhi vo meri care krega...?
Kya shaadi ke baad bhi vo mere liye songs likhega...?
Kuch bdlega toh nhi na....?

Main bhi kitni pagal hu.....kya soch rhi hu, ofcourse krega.
Main janti hu neil mujhse bohot pyaar krta hai.
Or fir mere paas mere ye 4 pagal dost bhi to hai, meri life me aakhir kya kami ho sakti hai.

Bas ek hi wish hai...ki aaj ka ye din, meri life ka best day ho.
Main or Neil hmesha...hmesha ke liye ek ho jaaye.

Avni's Pov ends

They were doing the final touch up of Avni, before they could leave for the wedding hall. While the boys waited outside the room.

After sometimes, Ali recieved a call. He picked up the call and listened. His face expressions changed.

Karan who was standing next to him saw his face expressions getting changed over phone call.

Karan : Ali....Ali what happened ? he asked nervously.

Ali cuts the call shockingly.

........

They knocked the door and entered in a panick. Avni was looking so excited and happy sitting and getting ready for her big day.

Ali and karan looked at Avni smiling, and then they looked at each other.

They slowly went near her and sat on their knees in front of her, while she was seating on a chair.

Avni who was getting ready and was smiling by now, looked at them being nervous.

Avni asked....

Avni : Kya hua....aise utre hue chehre kyu bna rkhe hai....? she asked them

Avni could not make from their faces...while Riya and Saisha who were standing near her chair, saw the faces of boys and knew that something is not right.

Saisha (nervously) : Wh...what happened karan...? Sab....sab thik hai na..?

Riya : Ali...kya hua hai ?

And this time Avni noticed the seriousness of the situation. She sensed somthing is not right.

Avni : Ali...karan....you....you both are scaring me now.
Kya....kya hua hai...?

she asked panickly.....
Neil...neil ko kuch hua hai....? Vo...vo toh thik hai na ? she said getting more and morw nervous.

Ali and karan had tears in their eyes. They dont know how to tell this to Avni. But they finally gained lot of strength, and Ali said....

Ali : H....He...He is n.. He is not coming !

Saisha and Riya gets shocked. While Avni didnt believed and went confused...

Avni (shocked) : What....? Y..ye...ye kya ganda mazaak hai. she stood up in a jerk, moving their hands away.

Ali and karan also stood up. They knew it will be a big shock for her and she would not believe this. Instead she shouted at them.....

Karan : Avni... ye sach hai....Neil nhi aayega.....!

Avni : Stop it.....stop it...! she kept her hands against her ears and shut her eyes tight.

And with that she got completely shattered, unable to accept the truth.

Tears started falling from her eyes...

Avni (shattered) : Mm...mujhe..mujhe pta hai, Mujhe pta hai ye koi nya prank hai tumhara ?

Tum..tum dono mazaak kr rhe ho right ?
Ye....Ye...ye bhi koi mazaak krne ka time hai. Aaj meri shaadi hai....Neil mere wait kr rha hoga.....

she said while ali and karan felt bad.

Saisha and Riya side hugged her....and consoled her , but avni who is still not ready to accept said...

Avni : No...no Riya...m..mujhe pta hai ye dono mazak kr rhe hai.
Mujhe pta hai...Neil....!
Haan.... I am sure ye sab Neil ka hi idea hoga....Haina...? Usi ne kaha na ye....ye...ye sab kehne ko.

she wiped her tears and said...

Avni : Ye neil bhi na...kabhi nhi sudhrega. Use iss waqt bhi mazaak sujh rha hai. Main usse chodungi nhi....
Ruko....ma...main abhi use jaake btati hu.... she began to leave in a hurry when Ali held her hand and turned her around.

He can not see her like this. He held her shoulders tightly and said aloud

Ali : AVNI....hosh me aao...!

Avni : Pr A...ali...N..Neil..... she said having tears....

Ali : Chala gaya vo avni....."HE IS NOT COMING !" ...and this time he said loudly bringing Avni back in her senses.

Avni's body went numb. Her heart lost a beat. She started stepping back...and sat on the bed in a shock.

A few minutes back, she was on cloud nine. And right now.....she was just a numb body without any feelings left inside her.
