Jake's PoV

She was singing to me on her phone. Some Japanese song she learnt from some cartoon.
-'" What are you doing?" I asked her
- " Singing " I could hear her roll her eyes
- " No as in while singing and talking what are you doing? "
- " Oh! I'm watching the tv" she said before slyly adding, " on the bed"
- " What would you have done if I was on the bed with you?" I chuckled to myself.
- " Watch tv"
- " But I'd be on the bed with you!! "
- " Then we'd both watch tv" she giggled.

The silence.. Followed by uproarious laughter. We couldn't stop laughing when we talked to eachother. She was smart, emotionally mature and naughty. She was a package. Everything I wanted.
A thought struck me. " Sweetheart when shall we meet?" I'M DYING TO SEE YOU!!

" Don't know" she said with a sigh before adding, " Maybe sometime later "

' She's right, I'm not sure we're in love and it would be wrong of me to ask her to go out with a stranger' I thought.

-" Okay "

Shelly's POV

I could feel the disappointment in his voice, but I didn't say anything. Instead I moved the conversation into a happier one. He was very forgiving in nature and he let go of unpleasantness pretty easily.
Yes maybe I did the love the person he is. He's the sweetest man on earth. For me at least.

But even if I did love this man, did he love me?.I would like to think he did, but I used to think my parents loved me as well until my mother started acting wierd and showing her true self to me. Maybe it's just me,. I'm unlovable. I sigh, then taking a breath I ask.

- " So where do you live?"

- " In your heart" he said that so seriously, it took a while for it to register.

-" ugh!! I mean seriously "

- " Near your house" I was beguiled, I hadn't told him where I lived, then it struck that maybe he was joking again!

-" Okay. Where do I live? "

-" Near my house!"

I laughed so hard! He was the naughtiest creature on the planet! Surpassed only by me. Had we been in really in love, we would've considered both of us to be the same wouldn't we?
