She was to come today, from yet another trip with that bastard. Would she still remember me?

The door thumped once again," Yes Ma. What is it?" I ground my teeth in exasperation. They had asked nothing but when I will get married for the past few days.

" Someone's here to meet you!" cried she.

-" Who?"

-" Just come out. Will you?"
I obliged and went outside. The figure of that of an elephant rushed to hug me. Two children squealed from below.

"Hello Chris! Hi Gale!" I called to them.

The woman hugging me, looked at me with a huge grin on her face. A grin so wide, it was infectious.

Shelly's Pov

Stephen was going to stay tonight! I was excited inspite of myself. His room was on the same side of the apartment as mine.

Gunther would be sleeping with him, he would have dinner with us and only after innumerable jokes would he part to bed.

Yippeee yippeee yippeee!!!!! I'm soo happy.

The evening could not have been more hilarious.

" So" my dad concluded before I was heading to bed, " Another vacation during winters?"

-" Yesss" I heard Stephen laughing.

I turned around making sure no one would notice my excitement

" Lock your room " my mother commanded.

" Yes mother" and I did as she said, once I was in my room.

My eye's didn't want to open but I had to rush to school. Getting into the car I called him from my driver's cell.

-" Hey Danny?"

- " Hi"

- " Watsup?" I ask smiling a wide smile.

- " Nothing, I just want to sleep "

-" Oh! Okay,, " I tried to cover up my hurt. " Talk later then?"

-" Yeah "he said before the line went dead.

I didn't have any logical explanation for this kind of behaviour towards me. What happened?
