Shelly's Pov

" Bye " I murmur as I shut the door, my parents were going to meet up with Stephen.
I head towards the balcony, to make sure my parents really are leaving.. My father opens the door and gets in followed by my mother who does the same. I see my father's silver Mercedes lurch forward. It finally starts after a jolt and I keep watching until it disappears behind the corner of the road which couldn't be seen.

I had been trying to avoid this moment, my heart raced as I felt my muscles tense. I would have to do it.

Walking over to my parent's room, I saw my clumsy mother had left one of her phone's behind. I knew this would be the case, they didn't have to worry about Jake anymore. Atleast they thought they didn't.

I picked up the black Nokia before dialling his number.

A tiny beep. Then it rang.

Thirty nine seconds, he still hadn't picked it up. The call got disconnected.

He had no way of knowing I was going to call, besides this wasn't a number he knew.

I put the phone down as my body trembled with relief and pain at the same time as if that was possible.

I closed my eyes.

Criiiiiing. The phone!

I rushed over," Hello?"

"Love?" he seemed hesitant at first but when I heaved a sigh of relief at his adorable voice I could hear him smiling. " How are you? I missed you ever so much! Did you miss me? You still love me? I love you too my baby!" he said all this in a rush of words not giving me even a second to slip in a few words.

I had to do it! " Baby I have something to tell you"

Silence.

I continued, " When I was away, things happend between Stephen and me. I swear they didn't mean to but they did. It won't ever happen again I promise " Did I really promise? Well Stephen wasn't going to stay was he?

-" What things love?" I could hear his voice break.

" Just things, like hand holding and everything. Please please please forgive me"

- " I do forgive you but did you- did -did you kiss him?" I felt his breath stop.

-" No nothing like that, we only held hands "

- " okay"

Tears cascaded down my cheeks. I wanted to tell me just how sorry I really was.

-" I need to tell you something as well" he said.

My heart froze, did he cheat on me?

- " Say"

- " MynameisntJake"

- " What??" I was really confused his voice so tasty I couldn't makers out what he said.
- " I know I'm sorry " he said.

I laughed a little, " I mean. What did you say because I couldn't hear you properly "

He took in a deep breath before replying, " My Name Is Not Jake"

" It's Daniel "

My world stopped. My breathed shallowed as I felt my eyes burn " You lied? Again?"

I laughed. Laughed like a maniac.

I could tell he was scared I wanted him to be so.
" Please don't leave me."

I felt my voice rise up and the fact that I had emotionally cheated on him didn't matter anymore, " You're a liar!"

As are you! Says my conscience but I don't pay much attention.

" I'm sorry, it's not a perfect match with my surname and that's why I had to change it and I didn't even know you!" he rose to self - defence.

" But that doesn't mean you lie and It's been one fucking year!! " I feel like I don't even know him.

My whole world is almost falling apart can't he tell that?

" I'm so-.."

I hear our car. " Gotta go. Talk later. Parents " I say before disconnecting rudely.

We hadn't time to converse anymore. Rude I know.

Crrriiing.

The idiot called again." What??" I shouted in a whisper. Two minutes before they came in!

" I love you" he said

The line became dead.

I just had enough time before I disconnected and deleted it from the call log.

" Ting Tong" The bell rang, the doom vibrated in the air as if God was warning me that doom awaited.
