My conscience returned, finally awake I felt my heart beating inside my chest felicitating the courage to drain out from my body replacing it with fear and the cold sense of the unknown future.

I couldn't sleep forever so I woke up, " Get up! I know you're awake you Bitch"

My mum just had to shout that in a public place but I hadn't the right to confront her so I kept my mouth shut, If looked at my dad who didn't return my gaze. Gunther and Stephen were already up. Gunther tried to lighten the mood but it was to no avail, people as it is like to be in company of sorrowful thoughts.

I got down, my hair dishevelled. " Tie it " My mum flung a rubberband at me.

I took it and tied like an obedient daughter. " How was I to get out of this one?"
I looked at Stephen begging for help.

He didn't even glance in my direction, I would most probably be alone in this.
