Shelly's Pov

Almost one year and I have managed to hide it as well. Congratulations to us.

I still can't get over not knowing where he works and what other lies he told me. But everytime I hear his voice on the phone, it doesn't matter to me.

We hardly talk like five or six minutes, sometimes we hardly talk for many days.

My parents caught me a few times when I was extremely stupid.

I used to crawl upto the room where there phones were kept, steal their phones, call and talk to him. Sadly I noticed he never called back.

We still managed to have fights and sometimes he wouldn't call the entire night and I lay awake hoping he would, later I would find out he had fallen asleep. It used to be infuriating because I had been awake had I not?

But maybe I was just being selfish. Maybe he had gotten pretty tired, but my heart ached for my previous lover and this one was not it. He had changed. We used to love and sometimes lust on the phone, I'm not going to explain how you do that. However it always seemed he was lusting more than loving.

I don't even know why, but my heart ached whenever I didn't talk and that was the rest of the 1434 minutes in the day. I kept imagining he was with another girl and that killed me..even in Imagination.

It was only our first year together, tomorrow would be a good day. I sighed

" HAPPY ANNIVERSARY AND HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! " I said as excitedly as a whisper can come out.

He started mumbling something about same to you. My heart formed a crack, and my breath became shallow as an invisible force tried to squash me. My heart contracted but I pushed the thought away. Maybe he was busy? That is possible right?

" Won't you wish me an anniversary? " I asked

He forced a smile, I could feel it. " Yeah happy anniversary "

I heard footsteps, " Hey I have to go! Bybye! "

" Bye" he said in the same monotone. I couldn't analyses because I had to hide the phone.

My grandfather came in, " Have you seen my phone?"

His brow creased some more and I realised as he saw the phone clutched in my hand.
