I got off the phone finally able to breath.. I made myself more stable.

I could do it. Yes I could. My love wasn't a fake one and I could strive through it.. If only God told me how to..he never does though.

I sigh again and place the phone exactly like it had been. I had always been an expert in thieving just never practiced it much.

" You talked to him while I was away?" my mother asked, her voice filled with agitation

I will not give up! " No" I looked straight at her face. She wouldn't get anything out of me.

I received a text.. On your mobile. She handed me the phone. " Where are you? Call" he had texted.. Idiot!

I felt my expression falter for a moment. " He doesn't know of our relationship ending! I never got a chance to tell him"

Smack! Across my face. " Talking back you bitch!" she bellowed.

I looked at her rage gnawing at me. Hatred burning.

I would have my time. There is years for us to be together. For now all I have to do is suck it up!

I contorted my face into a smile, " As you say mother"

She looked surprised. I heard the pot crash on the balcony as a pot fell due to a gust of wind.

I left the room.
