Jakes Pov

She led me to dark alleyways, she knew this place well. I held her and kissed her. We couldn't get enough of each other. She smelled so good. Like sweets, she smelled of chocolates and of milk.

I pushed her against the walls and led her to an ecstatic state of mind. We were both light headed. We had both claimed our unending love for each other. I finally knew what to do.. I couldn't ever bear this woman away from me. Never!
As she pulled me for another kiss, I made up my mind.

Shelly's Pov

Our kisses all of them were so beautiful, so meaningful. I couldn't even think straight. Having put my lips on his. I kissed him. Again.

Our kiss ended abruptly, I breathed in his smell. He looked at me with adoration clearly visible in his eyes. He clutched my hand and bent down to kiss it.. I blushed. " Will you marry me?" he said it in a rush and I nodded my head to say yes even before I knew what I was saying. I just said yes.

At that moment, it didn't matter I had never seen him ever before. Didn't matter that we would hardly see eachother. Didn't matter that we were soo many years apart. I just said yes.

He laughed and picked me up. He pulled me in one of his hugs. Warm and genuine and at home, he made me feel sleepy yet excited at the same time. He was dancing on the road! I laughed so hard. A full grown man, dancing in joy. It was hilarious.

Jakes Pov

She said yes!! Thank God! I would keep her happy forever.

We laughed, kissed, chatted and all too soon.. I had to go back home. We parted as she saw me to the bus. She had tears of joy and I felt her radiating her youthful energy everywhere.

I finally knew what happiness was. I finally knew how to attain it. It all lay in the eyes of the little girl I had just left behind. I could never be truely happy without her. I finally felt alive.
