Killua slowly opened his eyes to see a blurry ceiling. He blinked a few times before yawning and rolling over to go back to sleep, burrowing his face in his pillows. He was NOT excited for today. His family had decided last night to send him to school. He didn't like people, or sitting in a room completely filled with people for hours doing absolutely nothing. He already had to deal with enough bullshit at home. So why did they decide to send him to school? Probably since that's their main goal, other than making him take over the family business, was to make him suffer.

He sat up, rubbing his eyes as he crawled out of bed. Maybe it would somehow be not too interesting. Killua let out a loud and exhausted sigh, he shouldn't be getting his hopes up. But then again, there was pretty much nothing he couldn't handle.

Gon's POV:

Gon woke up with excitement, stretching his arms up to the sky. It was the first day of the school year! He didn't really know why, but it felt like this year was going to be more exciting and awesome then ever before. He got ready quickly, then ran downstairs, he was sure that he could make this year even better than the last.

Later, Killua's POV:

Killua looked up at the large complex with a sigh. Though he hated to admit it, it didn't seem as bad as he thought it would. There were some flowers, and people mostly stayed out of his way. As if to prove his thoughts wrong, someone accidentally hit Killua's shoulder and fell face first on the concrete walkway with a yelp.

Gon's POV:

Gon ran as fast as he could so he wouldn't be late, and so that he could look around the campus. He turned the corner, and before he knew it, he was flying forward through the air and the world was spinning.

And then he hit the ground with a painful impact. He heard someone laughing uncontrollably from behind him, and he sat up to see who it was. To Gon's surprise, it was a boy who looked around his own age, maybe even younger. "I'm really sorry!" Gon immediately apologized, "I didn't mean to-" 

"You should have seen that!" The boy laughed. Gon took advantage of the moment and looked up to get a better look at who he was dealing with, or possibly who was dealing with him. The boy had silver-white hair, but not at all grey/gray (I'm not sure if it's spelled with an e or a ;-;), and he was wearing casual clothes and somewhat resembled a cat. He had deep ocean sapphire eyes and Gon couldn't help but admire his beauty.

"But watch where you're going next time," he suddenly snapped. "I'm so sorry- I will next time I promise!"

Killua's POV:

What's with this kid, pathetically apologizing? A normal person would try and defend himself, maybe point out the fact that I had been standing in the middle of the sidewalk instead of on the side... Killua thought to himself. Because of this, he wasn't sure how to respond. "Hm." He said. He looked at the kid who had run into him and fallen, he had spiky green and black hair, and wore a hideous outfit of all green. He had amber-caramel eyes and an apologetic smile on his face. Killlua blushed a little, he was a little cute..

"I'm Killua." He said to interrupt his own thoughts. "I'm Gon!" The other kid responded, "Wanna be friends?" Killua stood there, unsure how to answer. His family would probably try and kill anyone he got close to, but then again... they were the ones who made him go to school. "Sure." He agreed before he could talk himself out of it. The other boy sprung up and started dragging Killua towards the entrance, before Killua eventually broke free and ran alongside him, unknowingly smiling with joy. Maybe school isn't actually all that bad. And it's my parents' fault for sending me here, so I'm going to enjoy myself as much as I can. And I'm going to spend all the time I can with this boy... I want to spend my time with Gon. So that's what I'm going to do.

Gon's POV:

They ran through the entrance, laughing and giggling. "I totally got there first!" Gon exclaimed. "Uh, no way!" his new friend, Killua, responded, "It was me!" "Anyway, what classes are on your schedule?" They looked at each other's schedules, comparing them to their own. We have nearly every class with each other. He looked up at Killua with a smile, and he smiled back. The only class they didn't have together was 2nd period. 

Even though Killua seemed very nice and happy, and unquestionably beautiful, Gon still somehow got a feeling that there was a lot he didn't know about Killua, and deep deep secrets that the pretty silver haired boy was hiding. He chose to ignore it, and focus more on his happy feelings, there was no need to be negative and paranoid. Everything was going to be just fine.

The bell rand and they ran off to first period, Gon was excited to start his new adventure with his new best friend, an adventure that would last forever, and never, ever end.
