"Macy we need you."

Elena spoke through the phone as she begged Macy to get in on her plan for killing Elijah, since Alaric did it and it didn't work.

"Elena look, I'm not about to stab Elijah in the heart when all he has done for me is more than both your lovers combined." Macy said as she finished sipping her water at the grill

It's where she's been all day, didn't go to the party, didn't go anywhere else just stayed at the grill. Until she got a phone call from Elena to a plan everyone was keeping from her all along.

"Macy this isn't for them, this is for me." Elena said as Macy huffed

"Elena no, I can't, I can't be in on something where it requires me to go back on my word, I definitely don't love Elijah but he's done so much for me, I hope you understand." Macy ended the call and put her hands on her head.

She read about the white oak ash and dagger when searching up on the originals in Isobel's library. She just didn't know they had it.

Leaving the mystic grill she grabbed her keys from her pocket and got in her car. Driving to the boarding house she got out almost instantly, letting herself into the room.

Having a good idea of where fathered Elijah would be she made her way down into the cellar. Looking through the bars of the door she saw a grey Elijah, dead, not breathing.

With hesitation she opened the door, walking in and sitting up against the wall.

She stared at the lifeless body in front of her. The one person that actually cared for her properly, who potentially loved her led dying.

"What are you moping about." A familiar voice vibrated off the jail walls

"Katherine pierce." Macy said as she looked up to see Katherine with a smirk

"Get Elijah dead and your free of the compulsion." Macy smirked "that's a good one."

"I need a key to the house, I could break a window but I don't think you'll be very keen on that." She said holding out her hand and Macy placed her car keys in her hand.

"Take the car key off."

Katherine sped away before Macy even had a chance to stand up.

"Great, I'll be sleeping here tonight." Macy said as she emerged from the cell. Closing it behind her but coming straight into contact with Damon chest

"Don't worry, I'm smarter to know not to pull it out." Macy said as she tried to get around Damon but he stopped her

"What." Macy said as she looked at him

" Katherine is out of the tomb." He said

"Yeah, she took my keys ." Macy added as she tried to get around Damon again

"What, Damon let me leave."

"I've been thinking about your little outburst the other night, you saying you love me." Damon trailed but Macy huffed

"Look Damon, if you want me to." Damon cut off Macy, closing the gap between them, with a kiss.

Macy pushed him away

"What are you doing." She said

"You said you loved me didn't you, you said that you wished every time you were with Elijah it was me, I'm giving you a chance to fulfil that wish." He said as Macy stormed past him finally and up to the floor above, into the lounge

"Damon not like this, your pissed that Katherine is out of the tomb and that Elena is upstairs with stefan and."

"Why do you think I'm in love with Elena." Damon shouted

"Because you do it all for her, me and Elijah was on good terms, he wasn't going to kill me, however from the amount of times you've pissed him off he was going to kidnap Elena."

"But he needs you too, don't you get it Macy, everything we do for Elena we do for you too, Elena is just more prominent about her suicide mission." Damon insisted "your the one that's going to died as a result"

"What if I want to die" Macy shouted "Damon I have no one, no family, barely any friends and the one person I like, likes her brothers girlfriend, I can't win."

"Who said I liked Elena." Damon said "you said you can tell that I care for you because I save you, I help you, who's not to say that's me showing you I liked you."

"Well do you." Macy asked "do you like me."

Damon stayed quite for too long, Macy shook her head and turned to leave. Damon vamp sped in front of her.

"I distanced myself for weeks cause since I've been a vampire I haven't felt this feeling before, not for anyone."

Damon pushed a hair back off Macy's face.

"I love you too Macy Raven."
