"I don't think it's very smart if you let Isobel know I'm still in town, it's better if she and John does not know I stayed in town after I got out." Katherine said as Macy walked through the boarding house door the next morning, facing her was both Salvatore brothers

"I would say don't mention me but I have a bone to pick with her since she left me for dead." Macy walked in adjusting her crop top

"You've dyed you're hair." Katherine said "I like it a lot more"

Damon looked at Macy in awe, he also loved the new hair.

"Raven, where was you yesterday." He asked and Macy shrugged looking at Stefan who smiled at her

"I uh, had a me day." Macy said

"In the middle of all this." Damon asked

"She needed it." Stefan said as Damon furrowed his eyebrows

"How do you know about it?" Damon asked jealousy and Katherine laughed

"Doesn't look good on you Damon" Katherine giggled

"Aren't you meant to be on a team with John." Damon said ignoring everything that just went on, he can deal with it later

" I did what I needed to leave the tomb, now I'm reconsidering my alliance." Katherine said walking backwards

"I know that I want klaus dead which puts me squarely on team you, besides if you 2 ever need me to swap places with Elena again, the less people know I'm here, the better."

Katherine clapped her hands together looking over to Stefan

"Think about it stefan, be smart." She said as Stefan huffed looking at Damon and Macy

"Tell you what, why don't you call Alaric and let him know that his wife just showed up on his girlfriends doorstep." Stefan said grabbing the coat next to Macy and leaving, Macy turned her head and smiled at the younger Salvatore.

"How does he know where you live?" Damon said and Macy looked at Katherine

"He was concerned, he didn't see you all day." Katherine said walking away from the two

"Did you two." Damon trailed off and Macy nearly chocked on her own spit

"What Damon no, I would never, he just comforted me after a shit day that's all." Macy said crossing her arms

"Why did you have a shit day?" Damon said concerned

"Just a lot of thinking and wondering why I left New York." Macy said and huffed

"He helped calm me down, until he had the phone call Isobel was back in town."

"Oh yea she." Damon trailed and Macy nodded

"She knew I already liked you back then." Damon said and Macy looked at him

"I don't know how she knew, you're so hard to read" Macy explained as Damon just stood there

"I guess she knew because it was true." Damon said and Macy shook her head

"No matter how hard you deny it Macy it's true okay, it's been true since I've met you, you're different and yes I did love Elena in the start, you were right but now I haven't got you, I realised I loved you so much more." Damon stated and Macy looked away from Damon's eyes

"When's the last time we kissed properly?" Damon asked as he pushed Macy's cheek to look up at him

"It's been a while and I plan to keep it that way, at least for a little longer." Macy said leaving Damon, she heard the door slam and Damon groaning.

Macy walked into the lounge and found Katherine seated on one of the sofa

"He just confessed his love to you and you don't want it." Katherine said looking at Macy who sat down and put her head in her hands

"Or do you." Katherine said as Macy rose her head

"You do don't you." Katherine said

"I confessed my love to him a couple nights ago knowing that he would never say it back but then he did and now I realised how much I love him I don't want him to get hurt."

"What do you mean." Katherine asked

"When klaus comes to town I'm going to die Katherine, I'm not going to make it out of this town alive, I can't form a relationship and leave him heartbroken and humanity-less, or I can't have him dying to protect me." Macy said as Katherine laughed

"You love him that much to let him go." Katherine said as Macy picked up a glass out of anger and threw it at a wall, it shattering

"I love a vampire for god sakes how the fuck have I managed that." Macy shouted as Katherine shook her head

"You coming." Katherine got up

"Where." Macy asked

"Isobel's." Katherine trailed and Macy scoffed

"No thank you, last time I nearly died"

5 minutes after Katherine left Macy got up off the couch and walked to the door for it to be opening in her face to see Stefan standing there.

"Hi." Macy said as Stefan turned her around and pushed her back in.

"I gave the blood to Elena, only because I'm with her all day so she has no chance of getting hurt." Stefan whispered which Macy smirked at and lead the team into the lounge once again.

Lead down on the couch, Stefan sitting on the chair and Elena sitting on the end of the other couch next to Stefan and Damon lifted Macy's legs and sat next to her.

Macy heart quickened but Damon could tell that as he made circles on her jeans.

"Do you think Isobel is telling the truth, the words out about the doppelgänger?" Elena said

"I don't trust a word that she says but I think we would be stupid to ignore the warning." Stefan said looking between Macy and Damon

"As much as I despise the women I do think she is right, there was word out about there actually being a doppelgänger ages ago, I'm sure people know you by name now" Macy said

"You should just stay here, better for us to keep an eye on you." Damon said making Macy slightly jealous

"You could live with me." Macy asked as Damon scoffed

"You live with Katherine." He added and Macy scrunched up her face

"Good point." She said pulling her legs from Damon and sitting up right

"Any vampire can enter either house, her house is safer." Stefan said

"Well then we can all stay there." Damon said and Macy scoffed

"As much as I love you Elena if it was just me and you it would be great, this house isn't big enough as it is to avoid vampires."

Elena laughed and Stefan raised his eyebrows

"Wow okay see how it is." Stefan said and Macy winked at him

"But is that the plan, none of you letting me out of your sight again." Elena said looking between them

"Don't flatter yourself, it would just be easier to keep you in one place so I can focus on the one trying to essentially give her life to you." Damon said looking at Macy

"Damon is right Macy, you can't stay far away from us either." Stefan said and Macy rose an eyebrow

"I'm a hunter, I can very much take care of myself." Macy said

"When you're not trying to kill yourself." Damon whispered and Macy rolled her eyes

"One of you 3 body guards are going to have to accompany me to the lockdown luncheon." Elena said

"That would be me." Stefan trailed

"Not me, I have witch stuff to attend to with bonnie." Damon said as they all looked at Macy

"My day was planning to do more digging on klaus, see what I can find." Macy said and Damon shook his head

"Luncheo with the lockwoods or witchy stuff with the bennet." Damon said "you choose, actually you don't get to choose, further you are from Elena, the better chance you would give her your blood to save her live, witchy stuff with the Bennett's it is." Damon said as Macy scoffed

"You're not planning my life for me Damon" Macy said as Damon grabbed Macy wrist and brought her closer to him

"Watch me." He whispered

"Don't get quiet on my account." Katherine said as she walked through the door

"If you have a plan to combat the impending vampire doom, please do tell." Katherine said as Damon raised his eyebrows at Macy as if to say don't you dare tell her

"What is the plan to get us out of this mess hm" Katherine asked

"I delivered you a moonstone, a werewolf, and a dagger to kill klaus and right now all you have is a moonstone and the Blair's hunter which was never apart of my plan." Katherine said looking over to macy

"No we have the moonstone, it's in a very safe place, like our Hunter over here." Damon said

"I've been honest with you, time to return the favour." Katherine said

"Let me be honest with you, don't you mistake that we haven't set you on fire in your sleep, for trust." Damon smirked and Macy rolled her eyes

"Fine, be that way." Katherine walked off
