Macy went back to her house and straight away took the key from around her neck. Running up to the room that held all her weapons she unlocked the box which contained her blood.

She took two bottles out and then grabbed her backpack that was just thrown on the floor in the room.

Placing the bottles of blood in there she closed up the box and attached the key to around her neck again.

Just walking past the landing to go back downstairs she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror

'I look exactly like mom' she thought 'minus the red hair'

Macy felt like she had to do this. She couldn't save her parent so she had to save Elena, she needed to do this for her, Jeremy, Stefan, Damon and for herself, she need to feel that accomplishment again.

Setting off back downstairs she took the keys off the counter top where she placed them and ran back to her car.

Throwing the bag in the passenger seat she got in and started the car. She drove to Elena's house where she could see there was no light on.

Pulling up to the sidewalk, she parked and stopped her car. Taking a bottle of her blood from her bag she then got out of the car and snuck around the back way.

Checking the doorknob first, it was actually open.

'How could they be so stupid' Macy thought and she entered the house, Macy walked up the stairs and into elenas bedroom.

Luckily by the side of Elena bed there was a glass of water

Macy watched Elena sleep as she poured a slight bit of her blood into the cup.

Satisfied with herself she made her way out of elenas bedroom. Shutting the door behind her only to turn and connect with a bare chest. She looked up and could just make out that it was the youngest Gilbert

"Jeremy, hey." Macy said hiding the blood behind her back, not that Jeremy would know what it was, it was too dark.

"What are you doing up and here at gone 3:00am." He asked

"Checking on Elena." Macy said as she brushed past Jeremy

"I heard your the one that was kidnapped, shouldn't Elena be checking on you?" Jeremy asked

"Well I've heard both Gilbert's went on two suicide missions today, both unsuccessful and pretty much gained nothing from it." Macy smirked at Jeremy who rolled his eyes

"I'm fine."

"You may be fine but It was really stupid what you did Jeremy, Katherine is 500 years old, even though your ring is saving you, she wouldn't have spared you, I'm glad your actually alive." Macy said as Jeremy crossed his arms

" right back at you macy, you haven't been exactly treasuring life lately." Jeremy said

"Jeremy you have a family, Jenna, elena." Macy said  " I don't really have anybody"

"You have all of us." Jeremy said, walking to Macy and engulfing her with a hug.

Macy returned it and they pulled away.

"Have you been working out." Macy said poking the abs on Jeremy chest, they were as defined as Damon's

"Goodnight Macy." Jeremy said

"No seriously have you, because your looking."

"I said goodnight Macy." Jeremy walked to his bedroom and shut the door.

Macy chuckled to herself as she left the house the way she came in.

Placing herself back in her car, she put the bottle of blood back in her bag and turned on the ignition.

Pulling out of the drive way she made her way back to her own house.

When she got in she was surprised to see a certain original vampire sat on her sofa.

"Elijah, what are you doing here?" Macy asked the vampire as she placed her back pack on the floor and her keys on the side

"I uh, I came to see if you were alive" Elijah said as he straighten his shirt.

It was relatively dark, only the moon gave light into the house, but Macy could obviously see it was Elijah.

"I'm sorry I kissed your head earlier, it was uncalled for, I'm not one to show affection lightly, Ive just, I've been watching you for sometime now" Elijah said, getting up off her sofa and putting his hands in his pocket

"You've been watching me?" Macy asked confused

"For a while now, I stopped when you came to mystic falls" Elijah stated

"And you didn't do anything to stop me" Macy held a confused face

"Not killing the vampires no, I didn't need to, Blair, your more than capable of looking after yourself, you've showed that to me" Elijah said getting closer

"But why show up now, I know for Elena but why kidnap me." Macy asked

"I thought I needed to protect you, Macy you don't get how powerful you can be" Elijah wrapped his hands around Macy waist

"I wanted to protect you"

There lips collided and Macy didn't hold back, however one thought couldn't help race through her mind.

'I wish it was Damon'
