The day passed by just like every day would. Class, lunch, talk with friends, end of school. Since I drive home with Cole every day, I assumed that I would today too. "I'll meet you in the car," I said as I walked past him. 

"Ummm, Sorry babe. Not today. Remember, I have that project with Emily." he said with fake sympathism. "Oh, yeah. I'll just get a ride with Wyatt." I said with a little disappointment in my voice. I walk to Wyatt's car and wait until he gets there.

 I explained him the situation, and he was pissed. "WHO THE HELL DOES HE THINK HE IS. WHAT IF YOU COULDN'T GET A RIDE. THEN WHAT. I MEAN I'M NOT ALWA-." Wyatt screams as I stop him. "It's alright. Wyatt, he has a project. I just want to do one thing though." I say quietly.

 "Oh, I'm sorry Sky. I didn't mean to scream at you. I'm sorry. What would you like me to do." Says Wyatt in a very apologetic manner. "Can we just stop by his place. He seemed a bit off and I want to make sure that he's alright." I ask Wyatt. "Yeah, whatever you want. Are you sure that you're not angry at me?" Wyatt says with his head down. 

"Stop acting like an idiot, Wyatt. Of course, I'm not mad at you. You just got angry as any good friend would. But we should probably get going." I say. "Alrighty. To Cole's House." Says Wyatt as he makes weird noises that I think are supposed to be a train as we drive off. ___________________________________________________________________________

"I'll just wait in the car," says Wyatt as we pull up to Cole's house. I see Emily's car, so at least he wasn't lying about that. I get out and I walk up to his door. I've been here enough times to know that there's a spare key hidden in the bushes. I grab it and unlock the door. 

I cautiously walk in and look for Cole. I figure that he's in the living room probably with Emily doing their project. I walk there first, and when I don't see them, I become very confused. "Coleeeeee. Hellllllooooo." I call out. 

All of a sudden I hear a noise. It's coming from upstairs. My gut feeling is telling me not to go up there. I completely ignore it and walk upstairs. You know what they say. Curiosity killed the cat. I'm that cat. 

I open his bedroom door and I am absolutely horrified by what I see. MY BEST FRIEND IS MAKING OUT WITH MY BOYFRIEND. YOU HEAR THAT. MY FUCKING BEST FRIEND IS MAKING OUT WITH MY BOYFRIEND. When they see me, they freeze. I am in complete shock, so my instincts kick in and I run. 

I hear Emily call my name, but I don't stop. I get in the car and I tell Wyatt to drive. "What's wrong Sky," asks Wyatt with so much concern that it makes me want to cry. "JUST DRIVE WYATT," I scream at him. He takes off without a second thought. I try so hard to keep myself together, but right here, right now, I just break. It's too much to hold in and so I don't try. My life sucks. ___________________________________________________________________________

Emily's POV:

I watch as Sky runs out the door with tears in her eyes. "SKY," I call, but she doesn't look back. I look out the window and see her and Wyatt drive off. "Ughhh. What did I do?" I say as I sigh and plop back down on the bed. "I THOUGHT YOU SAID THAT NO ONE KNEW," Cole screamed. "Why the hell are you screaming at me, I didn't tell anyone," I said as calmly as I could. "Yeah, whatever. Get out of my house. This 'project' is over." said Cole as he pointed to the door. "Fine, screw you too," I said as I walked out the door and down the stairs into my car. I drive off and I just think to myself. How could I have been so stupid? I literally had an amazing friendship that I threw out the window just because of a boy. I know that she hates me now, so what's the point in even trying to apologize to her. And my dream boy is actually a total jerk. My life sucks.
