"Wyatt I swear if you don't hurry your slow butt up, there will be consequences," I screamed through my car window. "Alright woman, I'm coming. Calm down." Wyatt said as he got into my car. I rolled my eyes at him as he chuckled. "Whatever. Just know that next time you have me waiting out here for 30 min, I'm leaving your grass here."

Hehe, that'll show him. "I would disagree with you, but I'm still in awe that you said you would leave my 'grass' here" He replied as he laughed. Ugh, he never takes me seriously. "Yeah, that's cause when you threaten me, it's like a bunny threatening a lion," says Wyatt as he flexes and I roll my eyes. Oops, did I say that out loud? "Okay, let's make a truce. I will pick you up if you don't take a half an hour to get ready when you say, and I quote 'I'll be ready in 2 minutes'." I said with a hint of irritation in my voice.

"Alright, just don't go all 'I will murder you in your sleep' on me from now on," Wyatt said as he looked at me and smiled. I tried to hold back my grin, but I couldn't. He knew that this would make me smile. That's not fair. That's why he said it. He knows me too well. But, I mean cmon he was my best friend after all.

We pulled up to our school. And as we both got out the car, my eyes instantly searched the crowd of students for the one person I wanted to see: Cole. As soon as my eyes met his, butterflies erupted in my stomach. We've been dating for 4 months and they still haven't stopped.

I don't know what's going on. I mean I knew I liked him, but not THIS much. Why is he even dating me? I'm like so bland compared to him. He probably doesn't like me. I knew it. Maybe I'll just become a nun. Yep sounds great. I didn't realize I had zoned out until I saw Cole right next to me waving his hand in front of my face.

"Helloooooo. Hello. Skyyyyy. Are you alive?" said Cole. "Huh...Uh..waffles...sdshu.." This was all I managed to get out. "SHE SPEAKS." screamed Cole as I shot him a playful glare. He laughed and said, "I was just going to ask if I could walk you to class, my beloved girlfriend."

I blushed and responded with a flustered 'Of course.' "Why thank you, madam," he said smiling. "I guess this is my cue to go," said Wyatt kinda awkwardly. Woah. I forgot that he was even there. The discomfort on Wyatt's face was obvious.

He was always like this when I was around Cole. I don't really know why though. I guess I'll just have to ask him later.  "Yeah, sorry Wyatt. I'll see you later." I said as I waved at him.  "Ok, whatever," said Wyatt as he slowly walked away.

Hello, everyone. I know it's not the best chapter, but they'll get better I promise. This is my first book, so please don't be TOO hard on me. I would appreciate some constructive criticism because I need it. Love ya. ❤️
