Ch 21
A/N: Hey everyone! Hope you guys liked the last chapter. I know there was a huge time gap, but as I don't want the story to be too long, it had to be done. Also, Carl Roger is back. And well Lucius apologised too, what do you think about that? Read the A/N at the end to find out when the next chapter will be out. On with the chapter!
"W-what do you mean by that?" Hermione stuttered. "Why do you want to talk about that? What is there a need to do that, huh?"
Harry furrowed his eyebrows. "All I said was a simple sentence, Hermione. I don't know why you have to ask three questions because of that."
Just calm down, she told herself. "Well you just can't suddenly come and say such a weird thing to me and expect me to stay calm."
"I did not ask you to tell me about the legendary duel between Dumbledore and Grindelwald that took place in 1943-"
"It happened in 1945, Harry-"
"I just told you that we should talk about you and him." He finished, ignoring her interruption of correcting him which was nothing new. He did not care about the history right now. "You don't have to get so worked up about that."
Hermione shook her head at him. "I am not getting worked up. I am just..."
"Getting defensive about that, I know. But don't you think acting like that for a simple topic is strange? Or are you hiding something from me?"
Hermione crossed her arms in front of her. "Oh really Harry? What do you think I am hiding from you then?"
He simply shrugged. "I don't know. Maybe something happened between you and that idiotic ferret."
"Oh, something has definitely happened."
Harry leaned forward, resting his elbows on top of the desk. "See, I knew it. I am always right. Anyways, just tell me what happened."
"We... actually discussed about the speeches we have to give at the Ball. Draco was of course reluctant at first, but he told me that somehow he would be able to deliver it day after tomorrow. And I am really excited about that, you know."
Harry rolled his eyes at her. "Expect Hermione Granger to behave childishly." Before she could say anything, he continued, "You know perfectly well what I mean, Hermione. And if you still don't want to acknowledge that fact, then I think we shout better start talking about this famous topic."
Hermione groaned. "We don't have to talk about that, Harry. There is still so much work left to do, and if there is a need to do anything, then it is of the work."
"Hermione," He frowned at her, "You and Draco completed the report yesterday, and Robards doesn't even require it until tomorrow. So I think we can spend some time just talking like old days. What do you say?"
Hermione chuckled at that. "I don't think we used to spend our time talking about Draco in those old days, Harry. Or wait, you were the one who used to do that. Specially during sixth year. All day it was Draco is a death eater, and that is up to something."
He looked down at his hands, feeling embarrassed when she brought up his actions during that year. "We both know that I was only proved right at the end. If only you would have believed me at first."
"If only you would not have become obsessed over him. And listened to me about the book, and so you wouldn't have almost killed Draco." She pointed out.
"Are we going to bring up that again?" He groaned. "I told you so many times that I was not thinking clearly that time. I saw the spell in the book, and well..... you know what happened next."
"I still can't believe you just got detentions for doing that." She leaned back in her chair. "If it were me who had founded you two, I would have gone straightaway to McGonagall and ensured that you received a fair and well deserved punishment."
Harry raised his eyebrows at her. "Are you really going to take his side over me, Hermione?" A second later, he sighed. "Figures, you are in love with him. People do this kind of things all the time for the people they love."
"I do love him."
"Why are you still denying that? I mean, yeah he is a pompous git but- now wait a second. Did you admit that you love him?" Harry was shocked.
Hermione simply nodded in reply.
"I mean, not even like him. You love him. As in love love him?" He knew he sounded childish while saying love love, but he wanted her to confirm her statement. "Really, Hermione?"
She nodded again as her answer.
"Oh this is great." He grinned wildly at her. "Wait until I tell Ginny about this. I am sure she would like to throw a dinner or something. But don't let Skeeter know about this. Who knows what that mad woman would write, huh?"
Oh Harry, if only you would have realised who was there in the office besides you and your best friend.
At that point, the bug present there, exited Hermione's office through the gap between the door and the floor. When it reached a certain reporter's office, it changed back to its original form.
Hermione shook her head. "Harry, I do love him-"
He waved his hand at her. "Yes, yes, we have established that-"
"But as a friend." She finished. "Or well, you could say as a best friend, I guess. He is my best friend too, you know?"
Harry glared at her. "Are you seriously kidding me, Hermione?" He was getting tired of this, really. "Why are you still denying that you love him?"
"I did not deny that, Harry. I did say that I love Draco-" When she saw the look he was giving her, she said, "I am just saying that we are just friends. I do not like nor love Draco in that way."
He sighed. "You know, everyone thinks that you two look good with each other." Okay, well not everyone. Ron did not think like that for a fact. "They all know that you two are in love with each other-"
"Then they are wrong, Harry James Potter." She exclaimed. "All of them are wrong. Nothing is going on between me and Draco. We are just friends, end of story."
"You know what Hermione, for the Brightest Witch of Our Age, you can be really oblivious at times. And well the same could be said for the ferret as well."
She glared at him.
"Okay, so what are you afraid of? Why are you not admitting your feelings? Are you afraid that we still think of him as an enemy? Like my arch nemesis? Then you are wrong. I won't accuse you of fraternising with the enemy, okay?"
Her glare intensified. Harry did not back down.
"Hermione, you will admit that you like him, or so help me, Merlin, I will-"
"You will do what?"
I will give you veritaserum, he thought.
But he knew she would kill him if he even suggested doing that. She was scarier than Voldemort himself.
Okay so this was not going to work. He had to do something else.
"Tell me one thing, Hermione Jean Granger. Why are you still living with him? As I clearly remember, he had to work overtime for eleven months. And it has been more than a year already. Fifteen months to be exact. You don't love him? Okay. Then why are you still living in his house?"
Hermione didn't have an answer.
And if it were any other moment except this one, Harry would have grinned saying that he had rendered the great Hermione Granger speechless and that in itself was an accomplishment.
"I..." I don't know, she wanted to say. But she knew perfectly well that Harry would continue to pry until she told him what he wanted to hear. "I never realised how long it had been."
He could do nothing but blink at that answer. "Hermione... You, I- I don't even know what to say. You are not like this. The Hermione Granger I know and have been best friends with for years would not act like this. How can you stay in his house for over a year and not realise how long it had been?"
"He has become my habit, fine?" She sighed. "I just... This is all like eighth year again. He had become my habit then, and he has become that now. Do you know how weird it was for me to come out of my room and then not see his face when I was in Australia?"
"You mean his annoying face." He pointed out.
When she simply stared at him, Harry continued, "Oh come on Hermione, you might be in love with him but even then you can't deny that he is an annoying prat." When she still didn't smile, he added, "Honestly, I don't even know how can people like him?"
Okay well that was a wrong thing to say, considering the witch in front of him herself liked Draco, very much in fact.
After a few minutes, Hermione said, "I have become accustomed to him, Harry. You know, I really hadn't realise that the condition had been fulfilled. Obviously he got his inheritance back, and other than going out for dinner with Athy that day we didn't acknowledged it in any other way. I mean, if he wants me to leave his house, then I will. I will really do that, there is no doubt about that. But Harry... I feel like I have started thinking him in the way I used to do in our eighth year."
"You mean..." He paused for a second, and then continued, "You mean you have fallen in love with him again?"
Hermione nodded, her gaze falling to her lap. "I-I think so. I had buried those feelings long ago, but then he had just been his real self in the past few months, and I-I don't know how... but I feel like I have fallen for him again. When I had told him I wanted to help him with Athy, I was over him, I swear. I had thought of him as nothing but my best friend from the moment I learnt that he was happily married and I was really happy for him and Astoria. I even tried my best to help Astoria with the blood malediction. I hadn't given a single thought to those feelings in years and now I just... I-I don't know, Harry, but I just... I love him so much."
By the end of it, her voice had broken. Harry immediately got up from her sea, helped his best friend out of hers, and wrapped his arms around her as she started crying.
He knew why she was crying, she felt guilty for falling in love with his best friend, but love is just so unpredictable, isn't it?
We don't have any control whatsoever on whom we fall in love with, and sometimes the person we love is in front of us, and we don't even realise it.
"I-I feel so guilty for loving Draco, Harry." She sobbed. "He had just lost the love of his life over a year ago, and I had promised Astoria that I would take care of him and Athy, and instead of doing that, I just had to go and fall for him. I have betrayed them, Harry. I have betrayed Astoria's trust and I am sure if Draco gets to know about this, he will hate me."
When Harry had decided to come to his best friend's office for having a talk with her about Draco, well her and Draco, he hadn't expected it to turn out like this.
He had just wanted to have a fun conversation with her, perhaps tease her about Draco and tell her to confess her feelings. He had decided to not talk about anything emotional, or discuss any painful memories.
Well it was not the first time Harry had failed to carry out his plan.
After a few minutes, she had calmed down, and they both returned to their respective seats, but not before Harry had squeezed her hand gently.
"Hermione, listen to me." He told her, the look on his face clearly telling her to not interrupt him. "There is nothing wrong in falling in love. It is not a mistake, and it never will be. It's natural. And honestly, I don't think you had ever stopped loving him-"
"No, I obviously had-"
"I thought that look was enough to tell her not to interrupt me. But clearly Auror Potter's glare does not work on Hermione Granger." Harry muttered. "Hermione, I am not saying that you are lying. I think instead of not loving him anymore, you had just forgotten about those feelings. Or maybe you had even pushed them away. Both of the situations are possible. When you came back here, you got to know that he was married and then the whole thing with Carl Roger happened. After that, Athy was born and then we started getting the complicated cases. During all of that, I don't think you ever allowed yourself to just sit and think about your feelings for Draco. But during the past few months, those 'old buried feelings' just came back, I guess."
"Maybe you are right."
"I always am, you just don't like to admit that." Harry smirked, thinking about how he had been right about Draco being a Death Eater during their sixth year.
Ignoring his statement, Hermione said, "These past few months, Draco was like his eighth year self. A loyal and protective person who was cold towards everyone, except me. He just... He was just his real self and whatever he did, served like a reminder as to why I had fallen for him in the first place. But this just makes the whole thing even more complicated." As she said the last sentence, she covered her face with her hands.
"How does that make it complicated? You fell in love, and that's fine. It is not a new thing, it happens to everyone. And I think you should tell this to Draco. You let him go once Hermione, don't do it again."
"He was never mine for me to let go of him in the first place, Harry." Hermione muttered, thinking about the blond wizard they were talking about.
Oh Hermione, if only you knew how wrong you and that statement were.
"Besides," She continued, "Draco doesn't like me in that way. He doesn't look at me in that way. He is still in love with Astoria, and I don't think I should confess my feelings to him."
"There is nothing wrong in moving on, Hermione." He whispered. "And how do you know that he doesn't look at you in that way? Maybe because you were certain that he would never return your feelings, you didn't notice the way he looks at you."
"I don't want to talk about this anymore."
Harry sighed and stood up, knowing she wouldn't budge. He didn't know who was stubborner, Hermione or Draco. "You may don't like me saying this, Hermione, but what if you grew out of this habit? Or what if Draco grew out, and found someone else?"
She couldn't answer him as he left her office. And because of their talk, she wasn't able to focus on the work for the rest of the day?
What if Draco didn't want her around anymore?
------------
Next day....
"Miss Granger! Can we get a word or two about the latest article regarding your love life? Miss Granger!" A certain reporter shouted as she saw Hermione entering the Atrium.
The Brightest Witch of Her Age groaned as her least favourite reporter quickly caught up with her. Despite her attempts to make her way to her office without getting spotted by any reporter, the reporter who had written the article was able to spot her.
Who was none other than Rita freaking Skeeter.
Although she had Harry to blame for this. He had refused to give her the Invisibility Cloak when she asked him to give her that, as she had wanted to reach her office safely and quickly.
But the Boy who Lived found those disgusting and full of lies article which Skeeter wrote, really funny. Specially when they were about Hermione's love life, and he found it amusing when the blond reporter wrote so many articles about it, and also pairing her up with people whom she had never even talked with.
But this time Rita had written an article about her and Draco.
As she had done many times before too, during this past year.
Bloody reporter.
And so, wanting to have some fun and enjoyment with this situation, Harry hadn't given her the cloak.
Well if Rita wrote something more about Hermione, nobody would be able to save Harry from her wrath.
Hermione wouldn't be currently in the company of Rita if she had managed to convince Ginny to tell her husband to give her the cloak.
But of course, she had been hoping against hope when she had thought about doing it.
Just like her husband, Ginny found this situation and the article amusing, and she even told Hermione that maybe Rita will be writing an article about her and Draco's engagement really soon.
Sometimes, Hermione didn't understand at all that from where did Ginny got these atrocious ideas and thoughts.
Seriously, engagement?
She might as well have said their wedding.
They weren't even dating for Merlin's sake! And as far as Hermione knew, Draco didn't want to be with her.
But apparently her friends and Rita Skeeter thought otherwise. While her friends would just tease her, her kind of an enemy, Rita, would write articles about them every month, if not every week.
Speaking of the reporter, she approached Hermione with a sickeningly sweet and absolutely fake smile. "Miss Granger! Just the witch I was looking for. Do you think you have time for having a discussion with me about the article which was there in today's Daily Prophet?"
Hermione shook her head. "Oh no, I am afraid I won't be able to have this discussion with you, I was really eager to do that, you know?" She said, sarcasm dripping from her voice in the last part. "So if you will just excuse me-"
"Oh come on, Miss Granger. We have been friends for so long. Surely you can spare some time for me." Before Hermione had the chance to say otherwise, Rita grabbed her hand and led her to her office.
Friends? In which alternate universe had they ever been friends?
Hermione had literally scoffed when she had read the article about her and Draco, which just happened to cover the whole front page.
'Forbidden Romance of Former Death Eater Draco Malfoy and Australian Ministry Auror Hermione Granger.'
Okay but she really wanted them to stop referring to Draco as a former death eater. He had worked so hard to put his past behind him, and has achieved so much in the last few years.
Below the huge heading, there were two photos of them.
One was of just a few days back, when they had been roaming around Diagon Alley with Athy, and had stopped in the Leaky Cauldron to eat lunch.
The second one was of their eighth year Halloween Ball, in which they were required to dance as Heads.
It had been one of the conditions McGonagall had made when she had allowed them to organise a Ball.
Hermione was just thankful that Rita hadn't managed to click a picture of the kiss she and Draco had when they were hanging out in Hogsmeade.
Of course, the kiss had taken place because of the Mistletoe when there friends had apparently abandoned them.
The kiss had meant nothing to her, or she had thought until she realised that she had fallen for her fellow Head students, as known as the famous ferret.
Well thankfully, no one, not even their friends knew about the kiss and nobody had seen them either.
She could only imagine what their friends would have thought and done, specially Harry, Ginny, Blaise and Theo, if they had seen her and Draco kissing.
She didn't know whether or not Draco had read the article. He had an early morning meeting, and so he didn't even have time to take a proper breakfast, which was usually when he read the Daily Prophet.
But she remembered the way he would just scowl when he had read those articles about her and him. Other than that scowl, his face gave away no emotions or thoughts whatsoever. And since he was an amazing Legilimens as well as an Occlumens, she couldn't read his face.
He used Occlumency whenever he read the Daily Prophet, even if there was no article about them, because he knew that it was better to have a control of his emotions in advance if he stumbled upon an article about him, or an article about someon else who had said something about him, which was more often than not, related to his past.
Before she could think anything else about that, Rita opened the door to her office. "Oh come, Miss Granger. Don't be shy now. Have a seat!"
Hermione rolled her eyes at her face enthusiasm. She clearly didn't want to have this discussion any more than Hermione did. Then why even bother to ask about that?
"So," Rita leaned forward in her chair once they were seated, "Did you like my article?"
"To be honest," She pretended to have a deep thought for a moment, and then continued, "No. Not at all. You know I hate it when you write a bunch of lies about my life, Rita."
"It wasn't a lie, Miss Granger. We all know how much you love with each other." She grinned. "So tell me, what does your mother in law Narcissa Malfoy think of you?"
Hermione choked on her saliva. "Excuse me?" She was thinking that Rita is really barmy. "Mother in law? Since when is Narcissa my mother in law?"
"Oh no, Miss Granger. I knew that Narcissa was evil, but I never thought that she would treat you so badly that you would refuse to acknowledge her as your mother in law." Rita shook her head.
"What the hell is wrong with you?"
"No need to get so worked up, Miss Granger. Or shall I say Mrs Malfoy?" Rita smirked.
"Mrs Malfoy? You think Draco and I are married?" Hermione raised her eyebrows. "Why are you so delusional?"
"See, even if it's not public knowledge that you two are married, I know you two are. Honestly, I had thought that Narcissa had changed. But apparently she still believes in blood prejudice-"
"Woah, now wait a second. Narcissa is not at all like that. And secondly, Draco and I are not married. We are just friends."
"Oh dear." Rita laughed. "You two are more than friends. In fact, I know that you are in love with Draco Malfoy."
---------
"I am seriously getting tired of dealing with them." Harry grumbled as he made his way towards his office after coming back from the meeting room. "Anyone can see the way Draco looks at Hermione, but the pair of them just have to be oblivious."
He had just read the article about Hermione and Draco in today's Daily Prophet and he thought that finally Hermione would confess her feelings to the blond ferret, but of course his best friend just happened to the stubbornest witch ever.
"And what's worse, is that Ron still wants to ask Hermione to be his girlfriend and-" He was cut off when he accidently stumbled into someone. "Oh I am so sorry-"
He broke off as he looked at that person's face. He was wearing a black coloured cloak with its hood on top, but when Harry had stumbled into him, the hood had partially fallen off. He was awfully familiar. But for the life of him, Harry couldn't figure out who he was.
And he wasn't stupid enough to think that every person who wore a black coloured cloak was a Death Eater.
Well only time will tell if he was right in thinking that.
Before he could realise who that person was, the man quickly walked away from there, leaving behind a confused Harry Potter.
He shook his head and just when he had turned, someone shouted his name.
Turning around, he grinned when he saw who had called him. "Ladies and gentleman, the great Caleb Warrington has finally come back to England."
The said person hugged him, and pulled away with a smile. "I almost didn't recognise you. You have become old, Harry."
He snorted. "You are one to talk. Look at you, changing your hair colour and getting a bunch of tattoos. And I will soon be twenty seven, that's not old."
"You are still older than me." Caleb smirked as they walked towards Harry's office. He was a twenty four year old wizard who had been living in France for nearly seven years. He worked for the French Ministry as an Investigator, and was very successful in his job as well.
"So how is everyone? And specially Narcissa and Draco? I haven't seen them since forever." Caleb said as they sat down.
His older brother, Cassius Warrington had been an acquaintance of Draco, but he had never met him until after the war. Caleb was not like his brother, he had never believed in blood purity, and to make him understand the importance of it, his parents had send him to Durmstrang. When the war ended, he had come back to his country, but since his parents had disowned him for not helping the dark side, he was homeless. After a week of staying at the Leaky Cauldron, he had met Narcissa whom he had been very close with as a child. The said witch had brought him to their penthouse, where he met Draco. The two had become fast friends, and Caleb treated Draco like his older brother. He had initially decided to stay in England, but since he was accustomed to Durmstrang, he went back there after a few months.
He and Draco had never stopped talking with each other though. They owled regularly, and visited each other at least once a week. After finishing his education, Caleb had gone on a trip to France, and when he got a job offer there, he immediately accepted it. And since then, he had never come back to England because of his work, but still, Draco visited him. After becoming Aurors, Harry and Draco had to go to France for a mission, and the Chosen One had met Caleb there. The three would go to pubs, and just hang around on their free days, and had become a trio of sorts.
"They are all good, and well missing you as well. And just yesterday Athy was asking about you. Apparently she had seen a photo of you and Draco, and she wanted to know who the mystery man was." Harry chuckled.
Caleb smiled, thinking about the little witch whom he had only met for two or three times when Draco had brought her to France. Caleb had honestly wanted to visit his friend, but he wasn't able to. He had become a part time Auror as well, and was often sent on raids or trips to different countries. That is what had happened when he wanted to come to Draco's wedding, Athy's birthday and Astoria's funeral. He wanted to be there for his friend, but he wasn't able to, and he was glad that Draco didn't hold it against him.
As the pair talked for a few minutes, Caleb noticed that Harry's mind was elsewhere. Wanting to know what he was thinking about, he used Legilimency on him.
"So why are you thinking about the feelings Hermione has for Draco?" Caleb asked him.
Harry groaned. "How did you even- No, don't tell me. You used Legilimency on me. And I should kill Draco for teaching you that."
He grinned. "So answer my question, why are you thinking about that. Who knows? Maybe I will be able to help you."
After swearing Caleb to secrecy, Harry hesitantly told him everything. After all, Caleb was like Draco's younger brother, and he knew that he would never want anything bad for Draco.
A few minutes later, Harry asked, "So how do you think we should convince Hermione to tell Draco that she loves him?"
"Why do you want her to do that?" Caleb asked him. "Draco already knows that Hermione loves him. He has known that since his eighth year."
--------
Hermione sighed as she entered Blaise's house. She had not been able to work properly today as well, her talk with Harry still in her mind. And before that, Rita had annoyed and irritated her so much.
As she walked towards the living room, she could hear someone laughing. Perhaps they were playing a game or something.
Before going to work, her and Draco had dropped off Athy at Blaise's house, as he didn't have work that day, and wanted to spend some time with his goddaughter. During lunch, Draco had informed her that his mother had also gone to his best friend's house, as she didn't have anything else to do, and was getting bored.
"At least she isn't shopping for unnecessary clothes or planning another one of her galas. Honestly, I hate those things so much." Had been Draco's exact words when he had told her that.
Draco. The reason she was not able to focus on her work.
Well he wasn't exactly the reason. She knew she had her feelings towards him to blame for. If only she had not fallen for him.
That too twice.
Another reason was the voices she had been hearing since the past few months. In the beginning, they weren't very clear and she could not make out what were the words being said.
But slowly, they were becoming clearer. She could make out the sentences which she heard, and she swore the voices saying them were really familiar.
Specially the voice of a man.
Most of the sentences had been said by a male, and as for the rest of the sentences, they were said by a female, and she was getting confused by them.
Hermione felt like the answer was on the tip of her tongue, but she just couldn't figure out who they were. And also why was she even hearing their voices?
What did she have to do with them?
The most often sentence had been this- 'I am so sorry for everything that I did, and I feel like I don't deserve you at all.'
A man had been saying that sentence.
And a sentence in that woman's voice always followed it, 'I don't hold anything you did against you. I know the real you, and I know that if given the choice, you wouldn't have done any of that stuff. So just stop thinking that you don't deserve me, and let me love you. Please?'
She wondered if she had seen a movie and those sentences were just dialogues of that movie. But then again, she couldn't remember a movie like that. She didn't really like seeing those cheesy romantic movies, but if what she was hearing were dialogues, then it was different.
It didn't sound like a cheesy or cliché romantic movie, it looked as if the two were really in love with each other.
It seemed as if the two, specially the male, had had a troubled past, and maybe they were even polar opposites who didn't like each other at all.
But opposites attract, don't they?
Maybe the two grew up, and while moving on from everything that had happened, they fell in love.
It sounded like a good story to Hermione. A story with a happy ending.
Except it wasn't.
Well at least that's what she thought.
Whenever she heard those voices, the last sentence was always, "I am sorry."
In the male's voice.
She would have thought that he was apologising for what he had done in the past, but the sentence preceding it contradicted that.
I am so sorry for doing this, love.
I hope you forgive me someday, and just know that I will never stop loving you.
I am sorry.
She wondered what the male had done. Did he break her heart?
Or perhaps he lied to her?
Whatever the case was, she knew the male hadn't wanted to do that. His voice always broke when he said the last sentence.
She felt bad for him, despite not knowing who he was, or what his story was.
After suffering for years, he had finally gotten the chance to be happy and be with his love, but then something had happened.
Hermione wondered if she should talk to a Healer about those voices, but she was afraid that they would think she was mad.
But before she could make a decision, she heard Narcissa call her. "Hermione! Look who has come to meet us!"
As she reached the living room, she saw a certain witch there, sitting next to Narcissa on the couch.
----------
"So which potion are we going to brew today?" Draco asked as Blaise brought a cauldron from his potions supply cupboard in the spare room.
"Your favourite one. Or shall I say the one which got you all shy and you became a lovesick fool in eighth year?" Blaise smirked.
"Don't you dare." He warned him. "We are not going to brew that ridiculous love potion-"
"Amortentia is not ridiculous, Draco." Blaise said as he took out all the ingredients. "It just tells you about the person you love. And perhaps it is really beneficial for oblivious people like you, who don't even realise that they are in love with someone."
"There is no point in doing this." He shook his head. "I do not need to realise anything, Blaise. And I suggest you stop this."
"I am just trying to help you, you know?" He asked Draco. "We all know you love Hermione, but you won't even admit that-"
"I know I love Granger, she's my best friend-"
"As more than a friend, Draco." Blaise narrowed his eyes at him. "You do know she loves you, right? And you love her too. What are you so afraid of?"
"I do not love her and that's the end of discussion." Draco glared at him. "And you should go before I hex you."
Blaise shook his head, and walked away, muttering about stubborn and oblivious blond ferrets. But just as he has exited the room, he stopped.
"Draco didn't say anything about Hermione loving him." Blaise said to himself as he looked at the brunette sitting in his living room.
