Christina's POV

"What?" I yell being shocked.

"Dear, I'm sorry, but I don't know what is happening. Suddenly I got the notice that this land has been purchased by some company and we've to move out soon. I don't know what to do, where to go. This place is the last memory of us dear, my husband. I can't leave this place." Granny breaks down in tears.

She looks so helpless and here I can't seem to control my own tears. I'm trying desperately to console her. I can't let this happen. I've to do something.

"Granny, can you tell me who purchased the land?" I ask

"Some company name, Salvator Enterprise Holdings Inc." She replies.

That's it. Hearing that name, all my tears turns into anger. Today I'll teach him a good lesson.

I head out for the devil's territory.

"Where is he?" Slamming my hand on the desk, I ask the receptionist.

"You must be Ms. Martin, yes he is waiting for you inside." Her reply surprises me.

Ignoring her, I enter his office without bothering even to knock before going in.

His office is too big for just one man. Everything is white color except dark wood desk and the wall by the door.

And in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows, there he stands, waiting for me.
His back is facing me.

I clear my throat and he turns back.

"What do you think of yourself, huh? You've money but that doesn't mean you would do anything you wish. Do you even think your reckless decision might hurt or create havoc in others' lives? Why are you doing all this? What do you gain from all this? Are you avenging me for the incident which took place a month back? Are that stupid and childish Mr. Salvator?" I spill everything out in one breath and the entire time he is watching closely.

His has a devil smirk playing on his lips. By his looks I can tell he has something bad, by bad I mean very evil going on in his mind.

"I think myself as the most successful businessman in today's date. Well, having money comes with so much advantages, don't you? After all you can do everything when you have enough money to spend. No, I never thought because I think about own benefit only. You'll know my motives soon, love. Yes, I'm avenging but you're not even close enough to the answer why am I doing all this but as I said before you would know soon."

He answers my every question with ease and with that he stands up from his comfy chair, and walk towards me holding my gaze steadily, impassive. My heartbeat quickens.

He stands tall in front me towering me, making me feel so tiny. Yeah yeah he is above 6 ft and I'm just 5"1. But it's not about height. His whole attire screams power and danger.

"And for your last question, the answer is..." he leans down, "Its for you to find out and me to know, what am I"

He whispers into my ears, giving me real goosebumps. I shivers at his hot breath which is falling on my shoulder.

For some reasons, I'm confounded and panicked by his steady gaze.

I'm about to leave, when a sudden pull drags me and hit my back to the wall. I hiss in pain.

"You won't leave until I'm finished." He says gritting his teeth.

"What do you want from me? I've nothing to give you. You've everything already."

Thank God I didnt slutter.

"Hmm... I've everything but not a wife you know. So why don't you become my wife?"
He offers.

I'm bewilder hearing him.
