Have you ever watched the moon fading away as the sun arise?

Have you ever seen the first ray of sunlight kissing the earth?

Have you ever heard the first chirping of the birds...alarming that a new day has arrived at your door...knocking with new hopes, opportunities and life?

Well, if you ask me, I would say yes, I've seen it all... Because everyday in my 22 years of lifetime that's the only thing that remained constant.

Being an orphan at a very early stage in life has never been easy.
I miss you mamma, papa I wish I'd you guys beside me.

"MISS CHRISTINA MARTIN!!!" the shout breaks my train of thoughts, "Are you even listening to me?"

"Mia, I guess the entire town have heard you"

"Shut up Chris! Get your ass out of the bed and get ready."

"Why?" I questioned being puzzled, "What is today?"

Mia walks towards me, holding the calender. I'm damn confused, then I take a look at it and that's enough to give me the adrenaline rush.

God!!! How can I be so forgetful! I've an interview, sharp at 8:30.
Hurriedly, I enter to the washroom and grt ready.

Without having breakfast I rush out. All the way to the office I keep on praying for positive results.

By the time I reach there, the receptionist informs me that someone else has been already selected.

There you go again... life never stops throwing me lemons.
Feeling defeated, I start to walk down the road...

Suddenly a strong thunder hit my eardrums all most making me deaf and then what, it begins to rain cats and dogs.

What else can I even except from my poor fate!
I smirk at my own life. This is what I'm best at.

I observe people on the road, running fast to escape drenching in the rain.
But can you ever escape what's fated in your destiny?

Before the thoughts can fog my mind, I begin to walk towards home.
