Biggs's P.O.V

Cid inspected the newly repaired magitek armor.

"Well, you boys have done it again. She looks great!" He declared. I heard Wedge breath a sigh of relief.

"However, there is another thing I need you two to work on." Cid said.

"There's a hole in the Enterprise's engine. I have no idea how it got there, and I would work on it myself, but I won't be in town for a few days. So in addition to fixing the engine, I need you two to watch over the workshop. Hold down the fort. Can you do that for me?" Asked Cid.

"We won't let you down boss! Right Wedge?" I turned to my partner. He looked lost in thought.

"Wedge?" I nudged him gently. He immediately snapped out of his trance.

"Wha? Yeah, yeah, we totally got it. Yup, no worries at all." Wedge said, nodding vigorously.

"Good. It helps a lot, thank you." Cid told us as he walked out of the room. As soon as he left, I looked to Wedge.

"What was that about?" I asked him. He waved a hand, signaling that it wasn't important. I frowned as he started to work on our new task: Fixing the Enterprise.

Wedge's P.O.V

"I don't understand. Can't we just get a small break once in a while?" I asked Biggs, who was working beside me. He shook his head.

"It's part of the deal. Cid took us in, and we do what he needs us to do. We only stop when we're told we can. However, after this engine is fixed, we could probably take the rest of the time that Cid is gone off. There will be nothing else to do. What do you say?" He said. I gave him a thumbs up.

"Sounds great! How long do you think it will take to finish this?" I inquired. Biggs just shrugged.

"We're almost done. I'd say maybe about half an hour?" Just then, the door swung open, and In came Jackie and Tataru.

"Oh, uh, hey Tataru! What's going on?" I tried to play it cool, but I couldn't cover up the excitement in my voice.

"Not much, we came in here to tell you that the magitek armor works fantastic!" Tataru said.

"Yeah! I love that new blaster you guys put in there!" Jackie exclaimed.

"Who's idea was that anyway?" She asked.

"It was We-"

"That was my idea." I accidentally cut Biggs off. I leaned on the Enterprise control panel.

"Well, it was a marvelous idea." Tataru told me. I could feel my chest swelling with pride.

Suddenly, the ground shook and I lost balance. I grabbed at anything my hands could find, which ended up being the "On" lever on the control panel. The Enterprise shot forward into the wall, smashing the front.

"Wedge! Are you ok?!" I heard Tataru's worried voice.

"Don't worry, I'm fine!" I said. I pulled at the "Backwards" lever, trying to bring the Enterprise back to it's place, only to smash it into the wall behind me. I hit my head on the steering wheel and gave a small yelp.

Biggs's P.O.V

"Wedge! The touch sensitivity is high right now because the repairs aren't finished! Stop pressing buttons!" I yelled to my friend.

"I'm not trying to!" His voice came from the raging airship.

"Hang on, I got him!" Jackie called as she jumped onto the Enterprise. Moments later, she jumped back off with Wedge in her arms.

"And the Warrior of Light does it again!" I applauded her. She set Wedge down and Tataru rushes over.

"Are you hurt?" She asked him. "No way! I'm fine!" He retorted, a hand on his forehead.

"Are you sure? You look like you hit your head." Tataru stated. 

"Yeah, just a small bump. Nothing to worry about." Wedge said.

"What was that all about?! You're lucky you didn't break down the walls! Now we have to mend the entire Enterprise!" I cried. Wedge winced.

"Sorry." He mumbled. Tataru put a hand on one of his.

"At least let me get you some ice." She said. Wedge's cheeks flushed red.

"O-ok sure." He stammered. I watched as the two lalafell strolled out of the workshop. Then I turned to Jackie. She had a smirk on her lips.

"Wedge seems a bit lovestruck, don't you think?" She said. I nodded, completely agreeing.

"I don't suppose you could help me out with fixing the Enterprise?" I asked her.

"Yeah I could fill in for Wedge while he's gone. Now, what needs to be done first?"
