Jason pulled up at the docks and spotted the Batmoblie. Jason scaled the wall and glanced in the shattered Sky light.
Jason spotted Batman talking to Slade and Robin. Whoa, it was really Robin! Jason kept out of sight as he eavesdropped on their conversation.
"I hope you've lived a full life Batman, for this battle will be your last." Slade took a stance. There was no way Batman could fight Robin and Slade at the same time and expect to win.
"Not if I can help it!" Jason crashed down into the room, falling right in between Slade and Batman.
"Jason?! What are you doing here?!" Batman, in shock and anger glared at Jason. "Go home. Now." Batman demanded.
"Ah, your new prodigy. I still can't believe your trying to replace Robin." Slade interrupted.
Robin frowned at the sight of him.
"Jason. Home. Now." Batman ignored Slade.
"No! I'm staying and I'm going to help you defeat him! I'm not going anywhere." Jason confirmed.
Batman could do nothing, Jason wouldn't leave.
"So your evening up the playing field are you? Fine, won't do you any good though." Slade nudged Robin toward Jason. "He's all yours."
Robin smirked as he stepped closer to Jason with an evil intent in his eye.
Jason, intimated gulped and stepped back. "I'm going to enjoy this." Robin said Menacingly.
"Why are you doing this?" Batman glared at him for the 50th time today.
"Isn't is obvious?" Slade chuckled. "Well first there's power and fortune. And with you gone Gotham city will go to hell. And I'll take over. And there's another bonus. I get to keep Robin." Slade dangerously loomed closer to Batman.
"You won't get away with this." Batman confidently spat at him.
"With the Clichés again?" Slade asked slightly amused.
Batman slightly confused, dismissed it. "Let's just get on with it."
"I couldn't agree more." Slade glanced at Robin who was looming over a frightened Jason.
"Ready when you are." Batman glanced at the shocked silent Titans.
"Ready." Slade reached into his belt slowly. Batman eyed him. And then in an instant, the room filled with smoke. Slade had thrown down a smoke bomb. And so the final Battle had begun.
Jason seeing the smoke, ran. Hopefully he could distract Robin long enough for Batman to take down Slade. He had overheard Batman and Alfred talking about Robin being missing, and he had see the news about him Robbing Wayne Enterprises. What in the world happened to Robin?
Jason saw a figure coming towards him. Jason quickly hid in the shadows. He could hear clashes of Bo-staffs, Batman and Slade were already at it.
The smoke had slightly cleared. Robin stopped to listen for Jason. With beads of sweat running down his face, he didn't dare move a mussel. Robin walked a few feet and was standing right in front of him. Robin shifted his head around, but didn't seem to notice Jason hiding in the shadows.
Robin started to walk away finally. Jason sighed with relief. But a sigh was enough. Robin suddenly reached out his hand and grabbed Jason by the neck.
"So this is the famous new prodigy I heard about. I thought he'd put up more of a fight." Robin held him up, choking him.
Jason struggled to breath as Robin held him up against the wall. It was only a matter of time before he blacked out. Jason suddenly caught a glance of Slade kicking Batman in the gut, sending him backwards.
"Batman!" Jason gasped. Jason suddenly kicked up his leg, sending Robin backwards. Robin caught a glance of Batman punching Slade several times in the face. He needed help. Robin punched Jason, and handcuffed him to a pole. "I'll be back for you." Robin threatened.
Jason's vision was blurry, he pulled on the handcuff but he couldn't get free. All he could do was watch.
"Robin, Attack!" Slade ordered Robin as he slumped against the wall. He was bleeding, and didn't look so good. Slade was out for this battle.
Now it was Batman V.S Robin. Batman was already injured, but Robin didn't suffer from a scratch.
"Robin we don't have to do this." Batman held out a hand.
Robin didn't reply. He reached into his belt. Batman narrowed his eyes. Robin wasn't backing down.
Something broke inside him at that moment. Robin was really gone. He had actually crossed the line. He was Evil now, and there was only one way to stop him.
Batman grabbed sleeping gas pellets from his belt, and threw them down at Robin's feet. Batman shielded himself by holding up his cape to his face. Robin was Engulfed in the smoke, Batman could barley make him out. But why wasn't he passing out?
The smoke cleared, Robin had a air filter on his mouth. Batman frowned. How in the world did he have time to get and air filter to his mouth in time? He was good, he'd give him that.
Meanwhile Raven focused on what was wrong with Robin's brain. There was something, controlling it but he was letting it. She had to help Robin, but she couldn't get free. She watched Batman and Robin battle. That's weird. She never noticed until now Robin had a slightly different hair style...
Batman dodged a furry of attacks from Robin. Batman could barely bring himself to fight back.
"Robin you know what your doing is wrong. Let me help you." Batman pleaded, but Robin wasn't about to give up this fight.
Robin's mind was in a whirlwind. He couldn't fight Slade's orders, it made him dizzy and gave him a headache. He had to find another way, to stop himself from hurting anyone else. If ever got out of this situation alive, Would Batman ever forgive him?
"Your weakening Batman." Robin dodged Batman's attacks. Robin smirked, he saw an opening and took it. Robin kicked up his leg, hitting Batman in the face sending him stumbling backwards.
Raven gasped. Batman was going to lose. She had to get free, she had to help Robin.
Batman was still bleeding from His battle with Slade. Batman shook his head and tried to get back up.
"Robin." Slade got Robin's attention. And threw a gun at him. Robin caught it, and pointed it at Batman. Batman froze.
"Batman!" Jason struggled against the handcuff.
"Times up Batman. Your a dead man." The gun clicked, as Robin pointed it directly at his head.
"Robin stop! Don't do this! Once you kill someone you can never go back." Raven pleaded with Robin. Robin stopped and glanced in her direction.
"Don't let her distract you Robin! Do it! Shoot Batman dead." Slade ordered trying to Stand up straight.
"Robin please don't do it." Jason begged. Worry tinted his face.
Robin stopped giving in. He couldn't kill. And especially not Batman. His mind was at war. He couldn't let himself kill Batman. The struggle made him dizzy, and he would soon pass out if he continued. "No...I can't do this!" Robin's mind screamed at him.
Raven gave it her all. She struggled as hard as she could but that wouldn't get her anywhere. She had to calm down, and use energy from within to help her escape.
"Azer...ath..." Raven softly chanted. "Met..rion..." She felt her soul self coming out.
"ZINTHOS!" Raven yelled, her soul self freed it self from the chambers, and disabled them freeing the Titans.
"No!" Slade yelled in Anger that Raven had gotten free. Raven was stronger than he had assumed. Raven flew above everyone and grabbed Robin with her magic, the gun falling to the floor.
"Robin I know your in there." Raven's grip was to tight. Robin's struggling was futile.
"Let me go!" Robin squirmed. Raven grip was to tight, and Slade was down. He wasn't getting out of this one.
Raven lowered him to the floor. She wrapped her hands around his head to find out the problem. Suddenly, she felt metal. It was small and round. Raven parted Robin's hair. That's when she realized it. "Robin this might hurt, bear with me here." Raven winced, and pulled the two sliver pieces off.
"No!" Slade furrowed his eye brows in frustration. He had to get out of here he'd lost, for now.
"Auuggh!" Robin yelled as the sliver pieces where ripped from temples. Raven released her grasp on Robin. Robin became dizzy, and swayed on his feet, and finally dropped to the ground and passed out. "Robin!" Raven caught him before he hit the floor. "He's out." Raven announced.
Batman stood up. "Good work Raven."
Raven nodded and stepped back. She had just saved Batman's life.
Batman carefully picked up Robin in his arms. "We need to get to the cave, he needs medical attention."
"What about Slade?" BeastBoy piped up.
"He's down remember? He probably passed out or...Something..." Cyborg turned and saw that Slade had disappeared.
"This isn't over." Batman sighed. Slade would seek revenge. It was only a matter of time.
