The Hike

The next morning I eat one of the dry food packets before starting my hike for the castle. I have to move fast because rebels might be after me and I don't have enough food packets to last me along time.

I start walking, but the seizing pain in my right leg makes me fall to the ground. I have to find something to help me walk. I crawl around until I find two big sticks.

I take the sticks using my shoe laces to tie them together. I'm trying to make a crutch, but I need somewhere of my arm to go.

I find a curved, short stick that will work. To make it kinda comfy i rip off half my shirt to tie around it before tying it onto the stick to make a crutch for me to use.

I try it out and it takes me a moment before I get the hang of using it and I'm on my way.

Every hour or so I check the map following it to where the castle should be. After a long day right as the sun was about to set I saw the top of the castle.

Keeping my promise to Ceea I took the lighter and burned the map, so no one else will be able to find them.

I slowly make my way to the castle. As I approach I hear the people shouting. "The rebels have come!"

What? Where are the rebels? I keep my head down until I reach the gate where they snatch my crutch away and I fall to the ground.

The guards put my arms in arm cuffs behind my back pushing me down a small set of stairs going underneath the ground. To the dungeons.

"Stop! I'm lady Ivy!" I try to tell them, but they don't listen.

"No your not, stop lying," one of the guards says dragging me into my cell and locking the door. Trapping me inside.
