Here is the extra chapter that was requested. Fair warning it is short but I feel it shows some insight into Jeremy and Allison.

Allison sighed as she stood next to her younger brother as their parents were fussing over the middle child, Elena.
Jeremy was so happy with the gold star he got on his art assignment however Elena broke her arm.
"Come on Jer, we'll go to my room." Allison said as she saw her younger brother pouting.
"Okay Lee." A seven year old Jeremy said following his eleven year old sister up the stairs and into her room. Once they both got situated on her bed, Allison grabbed the drawing and smiled brightly.
"I love it Jer." Allison said looking over the artwork of their family. They were oddly drawn, like dis-morphed people but Allison could tell right away who was who.
"Really?" Jeremy asked with a pouty lip, he didn't really see why she would like it or why his teacher gave him the gold star.
"Of course. Me, you, Lena, with mom and dad behind us. It's perfect and going on my wall." Allison said getting off the bed and walking to her wall she dedicated to anything Jeremy was proud about but couldn't show their parents because Elena had something the same days.
On the wall was his math tests, spelling tests, drawings, and awards.
"There." Allison smiled as she taped it up and Jeremy couldn't help but laugh.
"I love you Leelee." Jeremy said and Allison turned to him smiling brightly.
"And I love you Jerjer." Allison told him as she hopped on the bed and began to help him with his school work.

Allison smiled as she closed the box with all of Jeremy's tests, drawings, and awards.
"Hey what's that?" Damon asked plopping on the bed next to her.
"My most prized treasures." Allison told him as he opened the box up. "Damon!"
"What? I wanna see." Damon said pulling out the top paper. "Dear Leelee." Damon started before reading it with his vampire speed. "Huh...when did he write this?" Damon asked setting it back in the box.
"I think that letter was after my overdose." Allison sighed as the memory played in her head.

16 year old Allison was sitting in the bathroom, shooting her arm up with heroin. She never asked where Lewis got it but she didn't care. She needed to forget. Allison groaned in relief as she felt the drug pulsing through her body, she felt light. Like nothing was wrong in life, like she wasn't a freak or a fuck-up.
Without a second thought Allison closed her eyes.
"Lee!" Jeremy yelled as he knelt next to his unconscious sister. She was still breathing and Jeremy pulled out her cell phone and dialed 911 without a second thought. Jeremy tried to keep calm but the 12 year old couldn't help but cry. While their parents and sister were out celebrating Elena's first day of high school, Allison was here fighting for her life.
As he waited for the ambulance, Jeremy couldn't keep his eyes off his sister, his lifeline.
"Please Lee, please survive, come back for me." Jeremy cried as he kept her head on his lap.
The paramedics let Jeremy ride with them as they placed her into the back of the ambulance. Once they reached the hospital Allison was rushed to the ER and was going to be put through detox. Jeremy sat in the corner crying as police and nurses asked him questions.
"Jeremy!" Miranda Gilbert yelled as she rushed to her youngest child. "Are you okay? Where's AJ?" She asked looking around.
"Ma'am are you Allison Gilbert's mother?" A nurse said approaching the family.
"Yes?"
"Ma'am did you know your daughter has a drug problem?" Miranda felt her heart stop as she looked to her husband and middle child as they came over.
"I'm sorry did you say Ally-Jay has a drug problem?" Grayson Gilbert asked as he saw Jeremy crying and begging Allison to be fine.
"Yes sir. Her toxicology shows prescription drugs of high dosage as well as heroin. A doctor will be out shortly along with the police to ask more questions and answer the questions you have." The nurse said before walking away and Grayson shared a look with his wife.
It was five days before Allison was allowed home and being closely monitored by her parents. Jeremy stuck to her like glue while Elena was scared to be around her.
"Leelee...here." Jeremy said one day as he walked into the room the siblings were sharing until he knew for sure his sister, his lifeline, wouldn't vanish from him.
"What's this?" Allison asked smiling at her younger brother. Just yesterday she had flushed all her pills and whatever else she had down the toilet while their parents cooked dinner.
"Read it." Jeremy said smiling before he left the room.
"Dear Leelee,
I promise to be a better brother.
I promise to always be your ride or die
You mean the world to me and I never want to lose you.
Please stay alive, for me.
When I saw you on the bathroom floor, I felt like I lost a part of me. While you were hooked up to the machines and in the hospital, I swore to be by your side through everything. You can always talk to me about anything and I know it's the same for me with you. You are more than my sister, you are my soul, my lifeline.
Your Jerjer."
Allison felt the tears before she saw them hit the paper. She would stay sober and clean for her brother, her ride or die, her lifeline, her savior.

"Damn Ally." Damon shook his head, now understanding why his mark had faded for a while back in 2003.
"Yeah, it shook me and brought me back. Jeremy is my everything." Allison said smiling as Damon pulled out the first portrait Jeremy ever painted. "I was so proud when he asked me to pose for him. We spent days just sitting as I let him draw me." Allison told Damon as he looked through more of the box.
"Any other treasures?" Damon asked as he placed everything back.
"Hmmm I think there are two other boxes." Allison told him as she smiled, he was happy to always see her smile. Damon watched as Allison moved around their room and couldn't help but put his hand in his pocket where something special laid for the woman he was in love with.
