I woke up early in the morning by a dream that had startled me. Once I was fully awake and couldn't go back to sleep I sat up and shook the clanging moss from my ear into the stone floor. Morning paw was still asleep curled up with blue paw and shadow paw in the mossy part of the den. I stood on my sleepy paws and walked out, there was one person awake. To my surprise it was dawn leaf.

My paws lead me over too her uncontrollably. I sat next to her and watched her tail move back and forth over and over. Was she upset about something? If she was I asked "Are you ok Dawn leaf?" She glanced at me then turned her head away with her eyes filled with fear. Maybe it was a dream she had from Star Clan. I asked again, "What's troubling you Dawn leaf, you can trust me!", I said unable to move from uncertainty.

After a while of sitting there and licking my paws she finally said, "I had a dream from star clan, but it was the opposite of good. It was devastating." My eyes opened with
Curiosity, and I said "what was the dream about Dawn leaf?"
"I was in the dark forest and my best friend came up to me and said, rip, claws, blood, rip, claws, blood. She said this over and over without stopping until I awoke".

"Anyway off you go and leave me here, while I hunt. Now go sleep, you'll need it today I have a good feeling." She ran across the clearing and out into the misty forest to hunt for fresh kill early I the morning. I walked into my den and I padded the Ruffled up moss and settled down in my spot looking at the cats still huddled up without out me. For a second something hit me, I felt left out.

As soon as I awoke someone was pushing me and saying"Wake up! Wake up!" Until I was a wake they ran out of the den and under the high rock below Leaf star who was still looking at me because I was late for the ceremony. I looked up at the ,leader as she was saying " We have gathered here to day to name some loyal apprentice  his old name was frost paw. Come up please frost paw."

I looked at her and stared confusingly at what was going on. Morning paw hobbled over to me and whispered "your going to be a warrior!" My heart was pounding with excitement at the thought of hunting for my clan and going on patrols. I padded up the high rock my tail held high and my chest puffed out. The leader let out a big sigh, and I thought maybe she did not want me to be a warrior be has she wanted me to stay young, but I turned to face her, my eyes shinning into hers. She started to speak " we have gathered here today to make this special apprentice a warrior. She has been taught well by Fern tail, and she will continue now until she meets Star Clan.

"From now on your warrior name will be Frost tail. Congratulations Frost tail!" The crowd of cats started to shout Frost tail! Frost tail! Over and over. The loudest one I herd was Fern tail and Morning paw. I let out a relieved sigh that I could step off the high rock from the sight of the crowd of cats.  Mud claw came over and said "congratulations Frost tail, you will make a fine warrior!" Then my former mentor came over and said " I am so proud of you! Would you like me too come introduced you too the Warriors den?"

"Ok!", I said excitedly as we both padded toward the Warriors den. Fern tail stepped in first then I did. "Wow! This is much bigger than my old den." I said as I looked around.
"Fern tail?"
"Yes"
" where do I sleep?"
"Well there is a spot right next too me, but it's ok if you don't want to sleep there. Their is another spot next to Dawn leaf."

"I can sleep next to Dawn leaf, but thanks anyway."
"Alright." For a second I saw his orange eyes start to cloud with pain and he turned to leave me here. I sat down and curled myself up and put my paws over my head. The whole reason I wanted too sleep next to Dawn leaf was because I wanted to see why she was acting so weird and hiding in the shadows of the Thunder Clan camp.
