For the 2nd time, Peter Parker has lost the parental figures in his life and the pain isn't going away. If anything, with each day that goes by, the ache in the crevices of his heart intensifies.

Peter begins to grow detached from his crumbling day-to-day life as he channels all of his energy into being the city's web-slinger; the source of his strength and his misery.

When new faces begin to surface during the red and blue crusader's late night patrols, it becomes apparent that Peter's emotional wounds need to be salved if he's going to stand any chance against the new threat plaguing the bureau of Queens.

So some background:

Fanfiction has always been a weird medium for me where I never felt comfortable or like I could do it, but as of this year, I've been really into writing AU's and fanfiction as a means of writing without having to do all the world-building and it's helped me so much in getting back into the swing of writing.

This AU is set nearly right after Far From Home —after a bit of damage control has been done of course— and the main focus of this story is on the fact that Peter is only 16 or 17 and he's already lost five important parents figures in his life with two of them being his mom and aunt May and three of them having been father figures: his actual father, uncle Ben, and Tony.
