A mother rabbit is in her den, cuddled up against her baby's, with a new snowfall just being out side. Her fourth baby is at the den entrance looking back at his dear mother.

the den is far away in the snowy forest, and a small rabbit head sticking out. The rabbits head is sticking out of the den just a bit, smelling the fresh snow.

In a moment of wonder, he leaps from his safe haven, into the soft snow. He lands in the cold wet soft substance, and is momentarily stund.

He opens his eyes just a bit, lying on the snow. He lifts his head a bit and stares at the snowy sky. He can see the trees trying to reach it, how big they are but they seem a bit smaller than usual.

He looks down and sees his face reflected in the snow, and he is no longer a baby bunny, but a small boy squinting at the snowy sky. He looks at his paws, hands, with wonder and fear. He starts to cry, he doesn't know why, but he dose. Tears freely flow from his eyes, he can no longer see his warm den. It is gone.

He looks at the sky, and Cry's out in anguish and sadness, realizing he can never see his beloved mother again.

In the distance, a small girl sees him. She goes up to him, wraps a scarf around his neck, and hugs him tightly.
