Forensic Biology
Forensic biology is the study of connecting a person, whether they are a victim or a suspect, to a suspected weapon, the crime scene, or to another person. This is done by examining and studying bodily fluids, hair, bones, insects, and plant and animal remains.
This ties into the forensic entomology, because the insects, plant and animal remains are studied to determine the time of death and how it connects to the crime scene. This also ties into forensic serology, explained later, because the bodily fluids are examined, identified, and connected to the victim and/or the suspect, and to the crime scene. Another science that this ties into, is forensic anthropology, ask explained later, because the bones are studied to determine who the victim was, as well as their gender, age, and any medical information.
