This takes place 3 days after the last chapter.
This is also going to be an enjoyable chapter.

Brandon, Michael, Silver, David, and Mario were walking through a forest, following a scent that Mario had found earlier while on a mission. The scent was almost identical to Brandon's but was a bit off, showing a high chance of it being Brandon's counterpart.

They followed the trail to a cave and were about to enter when they heard someone coming towards the mouth of the cave. Michael decided to pull everyone into the shadows to hide them, and had very good timing. As soon as he got the final person into the shadows, Brandon' counterpart had stepped out of the cave. He looked around, as if making sure that no one was there, before leaving the area.

They stayed in the shadows for a few minutes before Michael brought then out. Mario stepped into the cave, taking one sniff before flinching.

''I smell Ritchie, someone who smells like him so they're most likely his counterpart, and... blood... a lot of blood... some is old and some is fresh...'' Everyone looked at eachother before pulling out a weapon or preparing their magic and went into the cave.

They searched the cave from front to back, before Silver found three hidden doors that were almost identical to the wall. He turned before calling out to the others.

''Come check this out.'' Everyone walked towards him, looking surprised at the hidden doors.

Mario stepped forward and sniffed them.

''This is where those three scents are strongest, meaning that if they're still here, they're beyond one of these doors.'' Brandon closed his eyes before opening them a few seconds later.

''They're behind the middle door.'' David nodded and twisted the handle, only to find that it was locked.

Silver stepped forward and used his thief skills to pick the lock, before opening the door. They walked in, with their eyes landing on either Ritchie or his counterpart.

Ritchie was in a much better condition that his counterpart, who was covered in fresh scrapes and bruises and had bags under his eyes. Ritchie had bags under his eyes, but looked okay other than that. Brandon and Michael rushed towards Ritchie, while David, Mario, and Silver went to go and help Ritchie's counterpart.

Silver had picked the lock on the collar that was keeping Ritchie's counterpart chained to the ground, before going towards Ritchie and doing the same to his collar. They both slumped forward with sighs, happy to have the collars off. Mario and David had helped Ritchie's counterpart stand up while Michael and Brandon helped Ritchiie stand up.

It was pretty obvious that the two Ritchie's were struggling to stay conscious, so Michael spoke up.

''I'll shadow travel these two, Brandon, and myself to my house. You guys go back to your guilds. David and Mario should inform their guild that Ritchie has been found and that Brandon and him are staying with me for a bit.'' They nodded and Silver grabbed Mario and David, blinking them out of the cave.

Michael than helped Rirchie stand while Brandon was helping Ritchie's counterpart stand. Michael shadow travelled them back to his house, and saw that the two Ritchie's had fallen asleep. Michael had led Brandon to the spare rooms, deciding to leave the Ritchie's in the same one while Brandon would sleep across the hall.

They gently laid the two on the beds, before Michael pulled out a first aid kit from who knows where. He handed it to Brandon before speaking.

''You wrap the wounds on Ritchue's counterpart and check to see if Ritchie had any.'' Brandon nodded as Michael left the room.

After a few minutes, Brandon had wrapped all of the wounds on his brother's counterpart. He gently ran his fingers through his brother's hair, before doing the same to the other Ritchie and leaving the two to sleep peacefully.
