Chapter 6
Noah's POV
When I woke up, all I felt was warmth around me. I opened my eyes and I saw a blanket around me. I sat up and looked around, I noticed I was in the living room.
"Good morning," Braxton said and handed me a coffee cup. "You fell asleep, I would've carried you upstairs." I took the cup and looked at him.
"But what?" I asked.
"I would actually have to care whether you slept on the couch or not," he replied and I groaned as I took a sip of the coffee.
I stood up and walked over to the kitchen, I sat my coffee on the island and went to the counter. I grabbed an apple and took a bite.
"I could've fixed you something," Braxton said as he walked up.
"Like you would've actually volunteered," I said and he chuckled as he glanced at my phone. He picked it up and his thumb scrolled the screen.
"Why aren't you picking up Nolan's calls?" He asked and I took another bite.
"I don't want to talk about it," I said and took my phone from him. "You didn't like him anyway."
"That doesn't mean I wanted you to lose your best friend," he said and I looked up at him, then down at my phone.
"Why'd you want me?" I asked and then looked at up at him. "Why did I attract you?"
"I picked you because you were the easiest to get," he said. "Drunk, gambling father, it doesn't exactly scream a challenge."
"You didn't see a picture of me?" I asked.
"Grey, what's this really about?"
"Just answer the question," I demanded and he chuckled slightly.
"Yeah," he answered. "You were beautiful." I rolled my eyes and I walked over to my MacBook. I opened it as I climbed up on the stool. "I'm going to take a shower, you're free to join." I rolled my eyes once again and he smirked as he walked upstairs.
I popped a blueberry in my mouth as I watched Supernatural. Dang Sam was hot, so was on team Sammy.
Arms suddenly wrapped around me and I jumped, I looked behind at Braxton.
"Hey, lazy," Braxton said as his cold breath tickled my shoulder. He placed a kiss on my shoulder and I looked back at my MacBook. "Come on, no kisses."
"Go away," I groaned and he sighed, he smacked my butt and hurried away. "You butt." He smirked and I rolled my eyes.
"Looks like someone's happy," a new voice spoke and we both looked that way. I saw Braxton's brother, who I haven't learned the name of.
"Clearly isn't me," I retorted and looked back at my blueberries.
"Jackson, what're you doing here?" Braxton asked, ah Jackson. "You weren't due to a visit."
"Mom made me come by," he said and dropped a bag on the counter. "Things for Noah."
"Things?" I asked and looked at Braxton. He rolled his eyes and shooed Jackson upstairs. "Braxton."
"It's just your dress for tonight," he said and I raised an eyebrow. "I forgot to tell you, the dinner with the family."
"Braxton," I repeated and he walked around to me. He took my hands into his.
"If you mess this up tonight, I'll hurt you," he said and smirked, I took my hands from his and hopped down.
"I hate the Collins family," I grumbled and walked to the stairs as Jackson walked down.
"Ooh, a grumpy one," Jackson said and I rolled my eyes as I stomped up the stairs.
"Keep stomping," Braxton snapped.
"Blah, blah, blah," I said getting louder each blah. "Don't want to be here anyway." I slammed the door, that'll do it.
~
"I don't care if the world knows what my secrets are," my iHome played as I got ready for the dinner.
One of the upgrades I got to my room was a better make up organizer.
I was wrapping my hair around the curler when the door opened. I looked through the mirror to see Talon, I looked away and continued with my hair.
"I'm guessing your house sitting?" I asked and he chuckled.
"Yeah, not exactly Collins family material," he said and my shoulders slumped. "If it's an consolation, you look beautiful so far."
"I was going for that, got to meet Braxton Collins standards," I said and he rubbed my back and walked back out. I sighed and continued curling.
I looked in the mirror scouring over my dress, it didn't fit my style, but it fit Mafia style.
I had to grab a handful of the dress in one hand and my heels in the other as I walked downstairs.
I saw Braxton talking to Talon and might I say, goddamn he looked fine in a suit.
"Damn," I said as I walked further into the kitchen, both boys looked at me and I expected the reactions.
Talon looked amazed and Braxton had a smirk on his face. I smiled and walked to the them.
"Please help me with my shoes," I said and Talon chuckled. Talon snaked his arm around my waist and Braxton scoffed.
"Put her shoes on," Talon said and he inhaled sharply and got down. He slipped on my heels and I smiled.
"I feel like Cinderella,"
"More like ugly stepsister," he said and stood up. "Let's go, shall we?" He held out his elbow and I sighed as I took it.
~
We got to the restaurant and Braxton had his arm wrapped around my waist as we walked in. I saw his mom and dad and I glanced up at Braxton, this is going to be a long night.
Braxton led me over to a table with two chairs, he pulled it out and sat me down. He walked to the one across from me and sat as well.
"Wine?" He asked and I shook my head slightly.
"Can I just have water?" I asked low and he nodded. He snapped his fingers and a young waiter walked over.
"Wine for me, water for the lady," Braxton ordered and the waiter nodded as he walked away.
A couple of Braxton's relatives came up to speak, but I mostly smiled and exchanged a few words.
"Can you get any more shy?" Braxton shot at me in a low tone and I looked over at him.
"I'm sorry, I can't talk to just anyone like I've known them for years," I shot back and in response he just rolled his eyes.
Our food soon came and I went safe with just chicken tenders with a side of fries. Multiple conversations were going on around us as we stayed quiet.
"I'm going to the washroom," Braxton said as he stood up. I was tempted to ask if I could go, I desperately didn't want to be alone.
I sat quietly as I sipped on my water and just kept my eyes on my plate.
"Grey," I heard Braxton and I hummed as I looked at him, but he was down on one knee. I dropped the fry that I was holding.
"Braxton, stand up," I whispered as I saw attention being drawn to us.
"Noah Love, will you marry me?" He asked and I glanced down at the ring he was holding. It was a rock.
I could feel all the stares, but my heart pounded in my ears. I had to do something quick and I nodded with a smile. When everyone clapped, I passed out on Braxton.
"Grey," he said as he shook my side.
"Get me out of here," I whispered through my teeth and he let out a angry breath.
"She's fine," he announced as he picked me up bridal style. I let my head hang back and my body go boneless, he carried me out to the car and put me in.
He walked around and climbed into the drivers seat and cranked the car.
"Braxton-"
"Shut up," he cut me off and pulled out, I looked down at my lap and sighed.
~
You've got to be kidding me.
So, Braxton and I weren't home for five minutes before his mom and her sister showed up.
"Aren't you going to put the ring on, dear?" His aunt Ruby asked, I glanced at Braxton and he stood up.
"Of course," Braxton replied as he walked to me. He grabbed my left hand and slipped the ring on my ring finger.
"Perfect," his mother commented.
Now, I'm in the bathroom looking at my outfit. Something I never thought I'd be wearing.
"Noah, dear, are you ok?" His mother called and I closed my eyes as I took a breath.
I walked out and she smiled.
"You look beautiful," she commented and walked to me, she grabbed my hands. "Have a nice night with Braxton." She walked to the door and opened it. "I'm hoping for grand babies." With that she walked out and I bit my lip.
I walked over and I sat on Braxton's bed, I swung my legs over and laid back on the pillow. I placed my hands in my lap and waited. When the door finally opened, I looked up to see Braxton.
He smirked as he walked over, he bit his lip and walked over to the bed. He climbed up and licked his lips, he pecked my leg and I sighed.
"Your body," he said and trailed his fingers along my skin. He kissed my thigh and licked a distance and placed a kiss. I gasped from the sudden action and he peeked up at me as he smirked. "That feel good?" I nodded slightly.
He kissed closer and closer to my underwear and he kissed my hipbones. He bit the tip of my underwear and licked under at the hip skin.
"Braxton," I whispered and he pulled that piece down and he kissed it. He let it go and kissed my belly. He kissed further up and grabbed my thigh. I reached down and untucked his shirt from his pants, he chuckled as he went to remove mine. "Not yet."
"Let me take it off," he demanded and I closed my eyes. "Fine, keep it on." He moved the shirt to the side exposing my boob and kissed it.
"Bastard," I mumbled and he kissed my chest and then my neck. He kissed and it felt good as he nibbled.
"Grey," he whispered against my neck.
"Braxton," I said and his hand traveled up my thigh. "Braxton, stop, I don't want to do this." I pushed him back and he stared at me in confusion.
"Ok, let's get this over with," he said and moved the side of my underwear and I pushed his hand away.
"What're you doing?" I asked.
"Looking for scars," he said and I shook my head.
"What? I've never did that," I said shocked and he looked at me.
"Who are you?" He said through his teeth and I was taken back at the question.
"I-I'm Noah Love," I stammered.
"Not your name," he snapped. "How are you even a person?"
"Braxton, I don't understand," I said and placed my hands on his chest to hold him back.
"You have a gambling father that doesn't give a shit and a non-exist mother," he snapped. "Yet, you don't cut, you won't take a sip of alcohol, you're a virgin, you've never laid your hands on drugs." I just focused my vision anywhere but his face. "You're this shy, weak nerd."
"Why is that bad thing?" I asked.
"Because usually people with fucked up families find an outlet," he hissed at me and I gulped.
"My brother was my outlet," I said. "He made sure I didn't turn out like my mother or my father." I scoffed. "So, I didn't turn out like him." He got off and pushed my face.
"Get out of my room," he growled and tears welled in my eyes as I sat up. I whimpered as I moved to the else of the bed. "Faster!" I flinched at his voice. "Goddammit, do you need help?" I heard his footsteps and he appeared in front of me. I jumped back and pulled my knees to my chest.
"Stop, please, I'm going," I cried and his jaw clenched as well as his fists. "You're scaring me, Braxton. Don't you care that you're scaring me into tears?"
"No, actually, I don't care if you're having a breakdown," he hissed and I bit my lip as my jaw quivered. "Stop crying before I give you a reason to." I crawled off the bed and walked past him.
"I just wasn't ready to lose the only thing I have left," I cried and opened the door walking out.

Wow...This is awkward. Ok maybe some of this chapter was to take out my feelings. My bad.
Ok so, was it good? Or was it okay? Or was it just bad?
