Ara POV

I finally couraged to say this.I wanted to tell him.It hurts, It really hurts to keep this secret.I can't keep this anymore.Having him in my arms, I felt safe.I finally decided that its better to tell him.

We wiped each other's tears. Yoongi held my hands and kissed them, making more tears escape my eyes.

"You can tell me everything,Ara.I'm right here.Just let it all out.."

I nodded and began telling him, drowning into the memories of the past again.

**flashback**

Author's POV

"Good morning,baby..."

A familiar voice came from the phone along with a lot of kissing noises,making 19 year old Ara giggle.

"Good morning, is there any special day today? you usually don't call me in the morning"

"Well, no but yes, I wanted to tell you something.I don't know if you will like it or not", her boyfriend's excited tone made her curious.

"What do you want to-", she was interrupted by the knock at her bedroom's door,making her in panic.

"Ara,whom are you talking to?", the voice of her mom made her scared and she instantly hung up the call and hided her phone.

"Umm,no one mom.I'm not talking to anyone",she picked out a random book from her bookshelf and began reading it.

The door opened and her mom walked in with a tray of food for her.She smiled after seeing her daughter,so  focused in studying.She patted her head and put the tray of food on the bed.

"Study well,baby.If you need something,I'm right there" she smiled and left the room.Ara was feeling a bit guilty for lying to her mom but,she instantly forgets it and takes her phone back to call her boyfriend again.

"Why did you cut the call?",  he asked as soon as the line connected.

" Sorry, my mom came so, I had to "

"Oh, did you got caught?"

"Thankfully, no.I was quick", she said and heard a sigh of relief.

Ara's family and Hyun Woo's family are enemies since, the beginning.Her parents already warned her to stay away from him but never really told her the reason behind this.

When she told them about her love for Hyun Woo, both of their parents were not happy and tried to separate the two.As a result, they both started secretly dating each other, always meeting late at night and weekends.

Ara was in highschool when Hyun Woo came into her life.He was a new student and was her senior, by one year.Being the shy girl she is, Ara never really paid attention to him.When Eunji left South Korea, Ara had no one to talk to.Thats when, Hyun Woo came into the scene.He was her only friend.They became best friends and that friendship soon bloomed into love and they finally confessed to each other about their feelings,on his farewell.

Soon,he went to university, leaving her alone but they never really lost touch and began dating secretly.Now, she has finally passed high school and began going to college but, they were still apart from each other due to the difference between their career choices.

Ara smiled thinking about the last time,they went on a date.She was lost in her thoughts that she didn't realized Hyun Woo talking to her.

"Babe? Ara..hello,anybody there?", her thoughts were interrupted by him yelling.

"Ugh, oh yeah,I'm listening.So, you wanted to tell me something"

"Oh yeah right,so babe, I have a surprise for you..", his tone was a bit different and she could feel him smirking.After a long pause, he finally spoke,

"So,I've planned a trip for us and we are going to JEJU ISLAND!!", he squealed in excitement.

"YAYY wait- WHAT?!", the excited tone soon changed into a shocked and frightened one.

"What happened? why are you not happy?don't you like Jeju Island?", he asked,confused bacause of her response.

"I mean, I'm happy and excited but, what would I tell my parents? our families are already enemies..", she said, thinking about the consequences.

"Babe, you worry too much.They would be angry when we will tell them, which we are never going to do..", he replied cheekily.She was still confused.

"what are you saying?I...I don't understand"

"you're so innocent.I mean,we can just go without telling them where we are going and with whom? just make a random excuse and then, we can go..", 

After thinking for moment,she hesitantly nodded, still unsure about this, but gradually agreed to his idea.

 "umm...okay"

"Good,so I will tell you the whole plan on phone since, its not safe talking on phone.See you tomorrow babe.I love you.."

"Love you too.."

She hung up the call and sighed.Ara laid on her bed, lost in thoughts.She was still unsure about this sudden trip and to be honest, she was scared of her parents finding out.But, the thought of her boyfriend completely chilled her out.

Maybe I'm just thinking too much....

She was alone and lonely ever since she was a child.Her parents were busy, taking their business on higher stages and she spent a good part of her childhood with her babysitter and the maids who worked in her house.She never really had friends and was a shy kid back then.Then, she met her best friend, Eunji, who soon filled the empty cracks of friendship in her heart.Then, she met her boyfriend, the love of her life, Hyun Woo, who planted the trees of love and happiness in her.She had everything she ever wanted yet she still felt a bit empty.

Why? 

 don't ask me....

"So, for how many days you are going?", the older lady asked looking suspiciously into her daughter's eyes.

"3 days, mom", she answered hesitently  , standing in a straight position, as if this is a job interview.She was scared that her mom would find out about her secret trip with her boyfriend.

"Hmm..and with whom are you going with?", she raised her eyes, suspicious of this last minute permission, considering the fact that her daughter never really asked her to go somewhere.

"Umm..just  with some new friends,mom", scratching the back of her neck, Ara awkwardly replied.

Her mom thought for a moment and finally spoke.

"Fine..you can go"

"Really? thank you mom..."

She hugged her mom tightly.They both smiled.Her mom caressed her hair and pecked her cheek.

"Just be careful..", she nodded and went into her room, to pack her things up.

Ara quickly called her boyfriend, trying her best not to scream in excitement.Finally, she can have some time with her boyfriend, without sneaking out at night.

"Hello....", the voice sounded sad and tired.

"Babe you know what mom- wait, why are you sounding so sad?"

......

"Wow,this view is so fascinating..", she looked from her hotel room's balcony, enjoying the weather and the view of the beach.

"let's go to the beach,babe", her boyfriend called her from the bedroom.

"Sure", she smiled and went into their bedroom.Her boyfriend handed her a box.She gave him a confused look while he was smiling mischievously.

"I bought this for you,open it", he winked at her and began playing on his phone.

She opened the box and gave Hyun Woo a look.She stood there, waiting for him to say something.

"What?", he shifted hi gaze from his phone and noticed her change of expression.

"Why did you bought this? you know I don't like these things..", she responded,really unsure about why her boyfriend suddenly decided to buy her this.

"Babe..", he jumped from the bed and put his hand on her shoulder.

"Please,I want to see your beautiful figure.Just this one time.Please.. do it for me for me?", he gave her puppy eyes and she giggled.

"Fine,but only this time.."

.....

"Umm..Hyun Woo?", she came out of the room, wearing the light blue coloured bikini, which her boyfriend bought for her.

He looked up from his phone and freezed.He was awstrucked by her figure.She noticed his staring and shifted uncomfortably.

"You look so hot.I'm not able to stop myself from staring", he winked at her.

"Umm..thanks but I'm not really comfortable-", he cut her off by dragging her downstairs.

"Lets go to the beach.."

.....

"Wow,this view is, so good", Ara said enjoying the weather while the waves crashed to the sand,making her feet wet.

Suddenly, she was pushed into the water by someone.She opened her eyes and saw Hyun Woo infront of her.His grip on her waist tightened,making their bodies closer.Slowly, their lips met and she finally got lost into him.

They were kissing underwater.Everything stopped.Time slowed down.Ara didn't care if she was breathing or not.She wanted to live this moment.They closed their eyes and things started getting heated.

Before,he could slip his tongue into her mouth,she pulled away, out of breath.They swam back,holding hands.When,they came up, she noticed the change of expression on Hyun Woo's face.Confused,she asked,

"What's wrong?"

She asked,confusion written on her face.He crossed his hands across his chest and rolled his eyes.

"Nevermind..", he said and left,leaving her alone.She stood their confused and sad but shrugged it, and went to find him.

.....

"Where is he?"

 She was roaming around the beach,trying to find her boyfriend.She wanted to say sorry for making him annoyed even though she was still unclear about the reason behind his previous change of mood.

"Ugh, maybe he went back to the hotel.I should quickly go there", she was about to go when she heard noises of people and loud music playing nearby.As, Hyun Woo was a type of person who loved parties and late night clubbing,she went there to find him.

As,she entered into the area, she was met by strong smell of alcohol and smoke.Ignoring the drunk people that were coming in her way,she was pushed to the dance floor by someone.She was about to go out when she saw a familiar figure.

She went closer to the shadow of the person, to have a better look.As soon as her eyes laid on the familiar figure,she couldn't move.

An annoyed look spread in on her face when she saw her boyfriend flirting with another girl infront of her eyes.She held his hand and started dragging him out.

"Ara..stop it what are you doing? leave my hand.STOP IT ARA", he snatched his hand from her grip and gave her an annoyed look.

"What would you do if you find me flirting with another man, infront of you?", she replied, an annoyed expression on her face.He folded his hands and looked straight into her eyes.

"you know what,its all my fault.I was the one who planned this trip.I wanted you to have some fun.But, I am wrong, I guess.Tell me, is it my fault that you are not spending time with me? I just wanted to have some time with you.But, I think its all my fault.."

His words made her heart crack a bit.She never wanted this.He was about to go but she held his hand, not wanting to let go.

"Not now,Ara.Please..", he snatched his hand and walked away.Tears started pouring down her cheeks.She thought that its all her fault.She felt terrible.

Little did she knew that he had intentionally started this unnecessary fight...

She stood their unable to process the situation.The tears who had dried by now started flowing again down her cheeks.She never wanted this trip to be like it.She never had any fight with him so she didn't knew how to handle this situation.

30 minutes passed and she was still there, having a debate within herself.Should I say sorry? but I don't even know what I did wrong? she thought.After a long debate she decided that it is better to say sorry.

She walked down to the hotel.The receptionist greeted her but she was too tired to even say back.She reached the door and opened it using the extra key.

Darkness was all over the place.Their was no one in the living room.The windows and doors were closed and had curtains draped over them.

Maybe he is in the bedroom....

Their was a wall and door to separate the living room and the bedroom.The door was closed.She slowly opened the door and it made a 'creak' sound.

"Hyun Woo? babe?",she whispered, not sure if he is sleeping or not.The lights switched off automatically and the door closed due to the air pressure that was coming from the opened balcony.She saw him.

He was sitting at the corner of the room,his back facing her.She smiled in relief.

"Baby..", she happily said and was about to hug him before he turned around and she dropped her keys in shock.

His nose was red and he had some sort of paper and a small tube in his hand.Her eyes fell onto the transperent packet that was kept on the bed.She came closer and read the letters aloud, later dropping it in shock.

"Y-you are do-doing d...drugs?!", she almost yelled at him.He tried to grab her hand but she quickly back off.

"Babe..l-listen.I-I ccan e-explain-"

"What would you explain huh? don't you dare try to fool me.You think that I'm so stupid that you can fool me? This packet of cocaine explains everything..", she said holding the packet of cocaine in her hand.

He closed his eyes, trying to calm himself down.But, her words and accutions were making it hard for him to control.

"I trusted you, Hyun Woo. I loved you.With all of my heart and soul and you decided to break my trust.I can never look at you the same now.I hate you. I HATE YOU!!", she screamed at him,making him more angry.

His eyes darken and his jaw clenched.His whole face became red.He couldn't control anymore.He grabbed her neck, in an attempt to choke her.His secret was now exposed and he knew that its not safe with Ara.He wanted this secret to be a secret forever and he could cross any boudaries to keep it as a secret.

Even if it means killing her.....

"Stop it..s-stop it, Hy-Hyun Woo...l-let me go-oooo!", she tried removing his hands but it was no use.He was way more stronger than her

The chapter was becoming very long so I had to cut it short

and sorry I was not able to update yesterday.Some emergency came so I was not able to...
