Min Yoongi POV

Finally, I am done with work.I parked the car in the parking and walked to the entrence.

I unlocked the door to see, Holly's new caretaker, Sung Woo, sitting on the couch with a sleeping Holly on his lap.He noticed me and bowed a bit.I nodded and carefully took Holly from his lap.

"Thanks for taking care of him.You can go now"

He nodded and left.I put Holly to bed and changed into comfy clothes.I checked the time.

11:00 PM

Ara should have came home by 10.I was about to call her when, I recieved a message.

Ara

I will come home a bit late tonight.Don't wait for me.Love you<3

She must be busy with work.I sighed and went to the kitchen.I made some ramen for me and Ara.She must be hungry.I made my way to the living room and started the Tv.

I was watching a random show when my phone rang.I picked up the call without looking, still focused on the tv.

"Hello"

"Hello, is it Mr.Min Yoongi" , an unknown voice spoke.

"yeah.." I lazily replied, too tired to even open my eyes

"Sir, can you please come to the police station?" , I got confused

"Why?what happened?Is there any problem?" I got confused.Police station?

"Well, its about your wife, Min Ara"

my eyes shot open.Ara?

"Ara?! what happened, is she okay?" I panicked.

"Well,to be honest, she is not okay.We need you to come here.."

"I am coming.." I cut the call and quickly changed into some decent clothes.I quickly locked the main door and hopped into the car.

I started the car and started driving to the police station.A lot of thoughts were running into my mind.Why would the police call me? What did Ara do?

Then, negative thoughts came into my mind.I was just hoping for her safety.I was so focused on the thoughts that I didn't even noticed, how fast I was driving.

I don't care..I just want her to be fine....

I reached the police station as fast as I can.I entered into the station,and saw Ara talking with a police officers.Her back was facing me

"Ara?.."

She turned around and looked at me in shock.My eyes also widened after seeing her.Ara was not in a good state.

She had dried tears on her cheeks.Her wrist was bleeding a bit.Her hair was also a bit messy,her shirt was also torn a bit and she had purple marks on her neck.

"Ara?! What happened? Who did this?"

I practically screamed and started checking up on her.She looked like she was about to cry.She quickly hugged me and I felt my shirt getting wet.My heart broke after seeing her crying like this.

I hugged her back and tried calming her down.I had so many questions to ask but, after seeing her condition, I don't think I should ask her.

I kissed her forehead and told her to wait for me in the car.After she left, I asked the officer,

"Who did this?! What exactly happened officer? tell me", without wasting a second,I asked him, desperate to know that bastard's name and to beat him up.I was boiling from inside.

"Well,you see...",the officer removed his glasses and began narrating,

Author's POV

It was a scary sight to watch.The creepy look on the man's face reminded her of the past memories and was triggering the fear and pain,she had been hiding from everyone,all these years.The young women was frightened.Negative thoughts were coming into her mind and she was constantly praying for all this to be a nightmare.

The man was slowly coming closer to her face, making her breath hitch.He started pressing kisses all over her face.The woman had no choice but to endure it.She was helpless.Her hands were tied with a rope and her mouth was covered by a cloth.His tight grip on her shirt caused it to torn a bit.

" No no no...Its happening again.I thought, I was free now.Why? Why am I unlucky?I want to go home " she thought while thinking about the scary memories again.

She only wanted to go home, in the comfort of her husband's arms, in which she felt safe.

The man slowly made his way to her neck and started kissing her jawline and neck roughly, leaving purple marks all over it.As soon as he kissed her neck, she felt hope slowly leaving her mind.She was struggling, the past memories keep coming into her mind, making it difficult for her to breath.

As she was about to give up, she felt a shining bright light coming from behind the man.She opened her eyes and started screaming for help, although it was difficult to understand what she was saying because of the cloth tied around her mouth.

"Help! somebody help, please help!"

"Who is it? Hey! what are you doing?", an unknown voice yelled.

After realizing what was happening, Hyun Woo didn't wasted a second and ran away for his life.

" Catch him, catch him.You go after him..!!" the unknown voice spoke.Ara quickly took her jacket and covered her torn shirt up.The well built police officer, spotted a young women who was sitting in a corner, wearing her jacket in an attempt to cover her torn shirt.

"Are you okay,miss?", the young women jumped a bit,probably traumatized from the sexual assault, which happened a few minutes ago.

The young officer looked at the woman with pity.He thought about what could've happened to her, if they came a bit late.

~flashback ends~

Yoongi's eyes widen after hearing what the officer told him.He couldn't believe it.His wife could've been raped.As much as he wanted to beat that person who did this, he also couldn't help but to blame himself for what happened or what could've happened to his wife.

"I shouldn't have let her go alone.This is all my fault.I should've been more careful.Ugh,I am such an idiot"

Yoongi's thoughts were interrupted by the officer placing a hand on Yoongi's shoulder.He looked into his eyes and said,

"I think you should go to your wife.She's in a really delicate state now"

Yoongi nodded and left the police station.He unlocked the car and was met with a sleeping Ara.

He smiled sadly at her innocent face and slowly removed her scalps from her face and tucked them behind her ear.

"Its all my fault.Im sorry Ara.I failed to protect you.."

He couldn't help but to blame himself for what happened to the love of his life.

He slowly felt himself crying for her.He kissed her forehead,  wiped his tears amd started driving.

Min Yoongi POV

I parked the car and unbuckled my seatbelt.I glanced at Ara.She was still sleeping.I unbuckled her seatbelt and picked up her in bridal style

(that happens in every ff.I swear,  no fanfiction is complete without this iconic 'bridal style'😜😉

You know what?why am I ruining this serious moment?Ignore this and enjoy hehe)

I made my way to our room and laid her on the bed.I changed into comfortable clothes and glanced at Ara.I dressed her wrist and sighed sadly.

"I wish, I could protect you.This is all my fault.."

"Its not your fault, Yoongi",  a familiar voice spoke.I looked up to see an awake Ara trying to get up, but failed due to the weakness in her body.

" Ara, you're awake?",  I helped her standing and quickly hugged her.Tears started pouring down my cheeks.She gripped my shirt with her hands and soon, I heard quite sobs.None of us wanted to talk.We were crying in each other's arms, simply enjoying each other's presence.

"I want to tell you something..", she said between her sobs

"About what?"

My hands tightly gripped her torn shirt, not wanting to let go.But, the next sentence she spoke, made my eyes go wide.

"A-about my past..."
