Chapter 8 - The Beginning
I know I posted this chapter two times already, but for some reason it didn't show for some people and I have no idea why... Ugh, so annoying.
Hope you like it, and I'm so sorry about all the notifications, if you got any.

Michael: I rubbed Angela's back as she threw up in the toilet.
"I'm so sorry about this..." I told her.
She shook her head, "It's just morning sickness, Michael. I'll survive."
She already had a bump showing, which was very odd to me. I wasn't used to seeing such a rounded bump at only 4 months.
I helped Angela stand up after she finished, and she walked over to the sink.
"I'm going out with my sister today, we have a little baby shopping spree to do. So you'll have to take care of the kids on your own." she said when she spit out the toothpaste in her mouth.
"I thought we were going on a baby shopping spree... They are my babies after all." I frowned.
"We won't buy anything too big. Only a few clothes, Rosa said she wants to get me a baby present... And don't worry, we'll have plenty of time to go just the two of us, but I need space to breathe sometimes, you know. I can't be here all day with you watching me like a hawk."
"I'm not." I scoffed.
She snickered, "Are you kidding me? Every room I go to, there's a staff member following me around. Even to the damn bathroom. And don't get me started on you, Mr. Jackson. You're glued to my ass when you're home. I need some space, so I'm going out with my sister."
She bumped into my shoulder as she passed me and went to her closet room.
"I'm not glued to your ass." I said while following her.
"Ugh," Angela groaned. "See? You're doing it now. Leave me alone to get dressed."
She peeled off her shirt, exposing her rounded bump. I stared at it, and admired it a bit.
"Get out, Michael. I'm serious." she snapped me out of my trance.
"Okay, I'm leaving... Jeez, don't be so hormonal..." I mumbled, but she definitely heard me, because she gave me a glare.
"You just lost your chance to go baby shopping with me. I'm buying everything with Rosa today."
Before I had the chance to speak, she pushed me out and locked both doors that led to her closet room.
I sighed, expecting the next five months to be worst.

Michael: Angela kissed me slowly, and made it last for what seemed like forever.
She only pulled away to breathe, making sure to hold me close.
Once we both had enough, which frankly, I don't think I'll ever have enough of her, we separated.
"I wouldn't say I love you, because that would take me some time to admit," Angela said. "But I definitely don't hate you, and now that I know how you feel... I can give us a chance. I need to move on from Jake, whether I want to or not, and I think that's why he picked you out of all the people he knew..."
I kissed her again to thank her. "I think I fell hard."
"And one day I'm sure I'll feel the same... But right now let's take this slow, okay?"
I nodded.
She hugged me tightly, and I wrapped my arms around her, careful not to touch her shoulder too much.
I couldn't believe I did that to her, actually hurt her physically.
"I love you." I whispered, feeling so relieved to say that.
Angela smiled and kissed me again.
"And I'm so sorry about your shoulder. I really don't know what happened to me today." I sighed.
"Mike, I'm fine, really... The pain will go away soon, and the doctor said it should heal in a few weeks."
I rubbed her back, "Maybe we should get some sleep, before those two wake up again."
"Yeah, I'm already tired enough. Cuddle me to sleep?" she giggled.
I probably had the goofiest smile on when I picked her up and gently placed her on the bed.

Michael: "Ooh, Michael... Go deeper..." Angela moaned loudly.
I pushed myself inside her a bit more, not wanting to hurt her too much.
Since yesterday was the 6-week mark on the babies being born, and we were allowed to do certain things again, we decided to hit it off right away.
We were in literal heaven. Our relationship, and I was glad that not as just friends, started taking off amazingly well. Once I broke down her walls, she was a little more opened towards me.
And tonight I was planning on taking her on our first real date.
"That was great, Mike... Oh, I would love to go again, but I think someone's hungry." she sighed when she put a hand on her boob.
Angela stood up to get her clothes. "Go get the kids ready for school."
"Yes, sir!" I saluted.
Angela rolled her eyes, leaving the room once she was fully dressed.
~
Angela: "Who are he cutest babies in the world? You are..." I said in a baby voice as I picked both Rose and Jared in my arms.
"And who stinks?" I scrunched my nose when I smelled Jared's diaper. "You do."
I put Rose back in her crib and quickly changed her brother's diaper.
Next, I sat down to feed them. Well, Rose, at least. Jared was pretty fine with being fed by a bottle, so Michael joined me.
I was determined to get them on a feeding schedule so we won't be as tired as we already were.
"This little boy likes to eat." Michael chuckled as our son instantly started sucking on the bottle.
"Yeah, we made some hungry babies." I smiled.
He smiled back and gave his attention to feeding Jared.
I was happy. Well, sort of.
Michael was amazing, there was no doubt in that. I think giving us a chance was something smart to do... He seemed really joyful about it.
But I was still skeptical. I felt like I was betraying Jake. And I knew I shouldn't have felt that way, because this is what he wanted. He wanted Michael and I together for a reason that was still a mystery to me.
"Daddy!" we heard from outside the nursery and Blanket ran in with tears in his eyes.
He had just returned from school.
"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked him.
He looked at me for a brief second before going to cry on Michael's lap.
He rubbed his son's little back, asking if he wants to tell him what happened.
"The teacher told us today in class to draw our family and when I showed my drawing to the other kids, this older kid pointed at me and said Angela's not my real mommy and that I'm a tube baby..." Blanket cried.
"Oh..." I sighed sadly.
"Baby boy, Angela is your mommy and even if she didn't give birth to you, she still loves you, like she loves all your brothers and sisters," Michael explained to him. "And maybe you weren't made like most children are, but you are definitely just like them, only a little more special. Before you were born, I wanted another cute baby, and luckily I found a woman who'd give him to me. Can you guess who that cute baby was?"
"Me?" Blanket wiped his tears.
"You. And you are very special to me, Blanket. Okay? There's no need to cry about something one kid says. He doesn't know our story, he can't judge you for anything."
"Okay, daddy."
They hugged, and Michael kissed Blanket's forehead.
"Now go give your mommy a hug. Her and Rose look a little lonely over there."
Blanket ran to me and squeezed me tight. He gave Rose a small kiss on her cheek, and she smiled at him.
Her blue eyes that matched mine shone a little when she realized who kissed her.
"You know what I think we should do?" I looked at Michael. "We should take the kids out. Leave the babies with Grace tonight and have a little quality time."
"Yeah! Can we, daddy?"
"Of course..." Michael sighed, looking a bit disappointed.
"Yay!! Thank you, mommy! You're the best, daddy!" Blanket laughed when he ran out of the room, probably to tell his siblings about our family night out.
"Since when are you not excited about doing something as a family?" I questioned, putting Rose on my shoulder after she finished eating.
"I was planning something for the both of us tonight... But it can be postponed for tomorrow." he said.
"What was it?"
"Nothing."
"Oh, please, you can't just leave me hanging." I urged.
Michael bit his bottom lip, "Fine... I wanted to take you out on a date. An actual one, you know?"
"Oh, I'd love that, Mike... And tomorrow I promise we'll do it. I just feel like we've neglected the rest of the kids since we're so busy with these two lately."
"Yeah, I know. Lily asked me if I still love her the other day. It broke my heart."
"I'll go see what they're up to. Come down when he's done eating." I placed a kiss on Michael's lips before going down the stairs.
"Angie!" Paris ran to me. "Is it true? Are we really going out together?"
"Yes, honey. The babies will stay home with Grace." I said.
She squealed and joined her siblings in the living room. I followed her, seeing all the kids' happy faces.
~
Wearing sunglasses at night was something outrageous for me at first, but I found it to be the best way to hide from the paparazzi's flashes.
The kids, all of them, were wearing their masks. Yes, even Lily and Eric. When we got married, Michael convinced me it would be for the better if they hid their faces, so they can still be as normal as they were before becoming his step children.
Michael was holding my hand tight and Blanket was holding my other one as we quickly stepped into the car after the wonderful dinner we had together as a family.
"What should we do next?" I asked when we were safely driving through LA, away from all the cameramen.
"We should go to an arcade!" Prince suggested.
"Hmm," Michael sighed. "I don't know, son. It's getting late, and it looks like your brother is a little sleepy..."
He pointed at Blanket who was already starting to drift off on my shoulder.
"But Michael, all we did was eat." Eric said.
"I know... Maybe we could watch a movie at home? So Blanket can sleep and we'll have more fun together." Michael smiled.
"I'm in." I said, not minding going home at all.
The babies were still not stable between day and night and Michael and I were tired than ever, and being out just a little more would probably make me not want to wake up.
"Kids?"
The boys nodded, but Lily and Paris didn't seem like they enjoyed the idea.
"Girls? What do you say?" I questioned.
"We'll agree as long as we get to pick the movie. The guys always choose and then we're bored." Paris said.
"Yeah," Lily nodded. "They always pick."
"Okay, today the girls are picking a movie." Michael smiled at them.
"But dad!" Prince protested.
"No 'buts'. Your sisters get to choose tonight."
Eric and Prince scoffed.
I moved Blanket so he'd sleep on my lap, and snuggled him close to me.
"Mommy, I want to watch a movie, too..." he mumbled, eyes half opened.
"I know you do, baby..." I placed a kiss on his little nose, watching as he fell back asleep.
~
Michael: "Mike, stop... The kids are here..." Angela giggled as I placed small kisses on her neck.
"They're too busy watching the movie." I said and kept on kissing her.
I slightly grabbed her boob, but she stopped me. "Don't go too far. And these are full of milk that I need to pump."
"How about you go pump and I'll come to treat you once you're done?"
"That sounds very tempting, but I need at least one night of sleep," she yawned loudly. "Besides, tomorrow you're gonna get this all to yourself after our date."
"Mm, I can't wait..." I whispered and licked her jawline.
"Dad," Prince whined, making me pull away from her as quickly as possible. "This movie is so boring. Can we watch something else?"
"No, it's Paris's and Lily's turn." I murmured, impatient to get back to my wife.
"You handle that, I'll go pump." Angela smirked as she got up and left the room.
"Boys, you can go to your rooms. I'll stay here with the girls."
"Thanks, Michael!"
"Thanks, dad!"
Prince and Eric escaped as fast as they could, and I was left with the girls who were deeply concentrated in the movie.

Angela: I looked at myself in the mirror, admiring the dress I wore and how snug it was on my body.
"Angie, are you ready?" I heard Michael asked from the bedroom.
I smiled. He never called me 'Angie' before. I loved the way he said it with his melodic voice.
"Yeah, just let me grab my purse." I said.
"I'll be downstairs!"
I took a purse that matched my dress. Knowing what Michael wore for tonight, since he told me to pick it out for him, I wore a dress that would go perfectly with his silver leather suit.
"You look amazing." Michael told me when I joined him downstairs.
We said goodbye to the kids and I snuggled my two little babies for a few moments.
"You left enough breast milk in the fridge for Grace, right?" Michael questioned once we were in the car.
"She has a whole week worth of breast milk." I reassured him, not sure why he was asking.
"Good." he smiled mischievously.
"What are you up to?"
"You'll see..."
I rolled my eyes at him as he pulled me close.
Michael chuckled, "I thought when we called truce between us you'll stop with the eye roll."
"You wish." I rolled my eyes on purpose again.
He turned my head to him so he could kiss me gently.
"I can't wait to see your face when you see where I'm taking you."
~
"Why are we going to the airport?" I asked skeptically when the car turned to LAX.
"It's a part of the surprise..." Michael answered.
The driver pulled up to what I figured was a private jet, and Michael helped me out of the car.
"Okay, what's going on?"
"Our date is five hours away from here," he said and I gave him a look. "Oh, please, trust me on this."
"Fine." I let him lead me up the stairs.
~
Michael: "We're not only going for a date, huh?" Angela sighed once we took off.
"Nope." I took her hand and kissed it.
"How many days?"
"Three, four... Maybe five."
I decided to take her on a second honeymoon; this time we will both actually enjoy each other like a husband and a wife should, and not just attempt to get pregnant.
"Did you bring condoms? I'm not on the pill, you know." Angela mumbled.
"I thought you said you'd give me another baby if I wanted." I pouted.
"I will, but in a year, maybe two..."
"Oh, now you're just teasing."
My wife smirked, "You've teased me the entire pregnancy, this is payback."
I nudged her shoulder, but she put on a serious face.
"But seriously, I'm 42. Even the babies' pregnancy was way too risky for me, and them. I can't imagine myself being pregnant soon."
"You might be 42, but your body feels like the body of a 20-year-old."
She rolled her eyes, only this time it was a little more playful. "You already got me, stop being a kiss ass."
"I'm not." I stuck my tongue out, even though I was kind of being a kiss add.
"Now you're being a child. I'm going to sleep a little if you want to get this tonight."
Angela put her head on my shoulder and closed her eyes.
~
When we landed in Hawaii, Angela was stunned.
But when we reached the rented beach house we were staying in, she squealed with joy.
Jake once told me he always wanted to take her to Hawaii, but never got the chance because he was so caught up in his job of helping people, just like he helped me.
"Did you know that Jake wanted to take me here? He always said we would go here to get away from everything..." Angela sighed.
"I'm sorry. This trip is about us and our first date," she apologized when she saw my sad expression. "So are we actually going somewhere or did I dress us up for nothing?"
"Of course not. We're going to a very good restaurant I know." I smiled.
"Let's go, then." she took my hand.
~
Angela: Michael and I talked for hours.
I felt like I finally got to know him. Which is very odd, because I've known him for almost 12 years.
"So... Except for Jake, do you have any other exes I should worry about?" he asked, sipping on his wine.
"I've had a few boyfriends, nothing too serious. I was never actually the person to settle down, but that changed when I met Jake. He was everything I wanted, so I agreed to marry him. But we both never thought about children, until my mother mentioned it at a family event in 1997. Jake felt like he had to do it, you know, give both our parents a grandchild from us. That's how Lily and Eric came to be, but it was never something we planned..." I said, but noticed I was going off topic. "Your turn."
"Well, I always loved Diana Ross... She's everything to me. But my first real girlfriend was Brooke Shields. I went to the 'Blue Lagoon' movie premiere and we met there. I was very shy at the time, so it didn't last very long. One night when she stayed over she kind of took my virginity and after that I was too embarrassed to call her back," Michael blushes deeply. "After her, in the 80's, I had mostly one night stands. I was caught up in all the groupies that came to my shows. Almost each night I took a girl to my hotel room."
"Your best years waisted on whores? What a shame." I shook my head.
He chuckled, "Yeah, I know... And then I dated Brooke Shields again, we broke up, I met Lisa Marie Presley, we got married... She didn't want to give me children, and Debbie did, so I chose her. I was so desperate to have a baby of my own, and since Lisa had two already, she didn't want another one, and now I'm quoting: 'I feel like you're not the right person to have a baby with'.
"But I loved her. I really did. I was heartbroken when I filed for a divorce. And that all went away once I held Prince in my arms... He was the cutest baby ever. Paris came along soon after, and you already know how Blanket came into this world..."
"I'm glad you didn't stay with Lisa Marie, because if you did, we might not be here right now." I said.
"Yeah, me too. And I wouldn't have had our two beautiful babies."
I grinned at him and leaned over the table to give him a kiss. Just when our lips were about to touch, the waiter came in and asked if we wanted desserts.
Michael told him that we'll just take the bill.
"I can get all the dessert I want tonight." he winked at me.
And he did, all night long.
