Chapter 24 - Family Drama

20th of March, 2007
Michael is 48, Angela is 43

Angela: "Yes!! Keep going, Michael... Faster..." I moaned, grabbing Michael's hair as his tongue worked wonders.

He had one hand on my nipple as he fondled it, and his other hand was helping his tongue down there.

When I came, he slowly made his way back up with placing kisses all over my body.

"That's ten for me and nine for you." he said, wiping his mouth.

"Hey, that's not fair, you went first. And now we have to go to our checkup or else we'll be late. It's like a 4 hour drive all the way to Dr. Haring's clinic."

"You can even it out in the car..." Michael winked.

"I am not sucking on your dick when we're driving, forget it." I said and got up.

I left Michael in the sheets and went for a quick shower to wash all the sex sweat he just caused.

As I was taking a shower, I saw my protruding stomach and smiled to myself. AJ has gotten big this week, and I could swear she suddenly gained at least two more pounds.

Michael's arms were suddenly around my waist, and he pulled me close to his body.

"You are the most beautiful pregnant woman I know." he whispered.

"And you're just trying to get a blow job. Let me shower so we can go." I elbowed his ribs, making him shriek.

"Hey, you wanted to move back here."

"It's not my fault you wanted to buy a ranch that's nowhere near any civilization."

He rolled his eyes at me, "Take a shower, I'm waiting downstairs."

Michael kissed my shoulder, and slapped my ass, before leaving the small space of the shower.

~

I looked out the big glass doors that showed the beautiful pool and fields that spread out in front of me.

Gosh... I'm so happy here. How could I even hate this place?

"One chocolate milk for my beautiful wife." Michael showed up and handed me a glass with the rich brown liquid I've been craving since yesterday.

"It's amazing here. Thank you for agreeing to move. I really needed this." I told him.

He kissed my cheek, "I'm glad you're happy, baby. Come on, finish up and let's go."

I smiled and sipped on my drink. Once I finished it, I was taken to the car by Javon.

Michael joined us soon, and we drove off.

~

Michael: "There she is," Dr. Haring said, pressing the scanner harder on Angela's bump. "A strong heartbeat, good size... Although she does look a little big. I'd say she's around 11 ounces or so..."

Angela smiled tiredly. The drive here really wore her out.

"You look tired, Angela." the doctor chuckled as he wiped the gel off her stomach.

"Oh, we just woke up early today to help the kids get ready for school, and we moved somewhere far from LA, it's a long drive."

"Then why be tired?" he asked. "Don't bother coming all the way here, especially because you're in bedrest. What is the closest hospital to your house?"

"Santa Ynez Cottage hospital." I told him.

"Then I'll be meeting you there from now on." he smiled, giving Angela the pictures of our baby.

"Oh, no, please don't bother coming all the way there-"

"Angela, please. I don't mind. Every doctor's first priority should be the health of his patients."

"Thank you so much, Dr. Haring." I shook his hand.

"My pleasure. I'll see you all next month."

Angela gave him a small smile and thanked him before we left, both of us adoring the pictures of our baby girl.

~

"Michael, stop, the kids are home..." Angela giggled as I kissed her neck.

We walked into the house, with me behind her and my arms wrapped tightly around her waist.

"How about we go upstairs and finish what we started?" I said.

"Mmhm, I'd love that," she sighed when I placed a kiss under her ear. "But I'm really tired, I'd rather just sleep..."

"My poor baby is tired?" I cooed, turning her around so she could face me.

She nodded, "Very tired."

"Then what are we standing here for? Come on."

I held her by her cute butt and lifted her up. She instantly wrapped her legs around me.

"You're the best, Mike." Angela giggled into my shoulder.

I kissed her deeply before starting to make my way up the stairs.

"Daddy!" I suddenly heard Blanket's small voice.

Angela pouted. "You know I love him, but I have zero tolerance for any of the kids right now. Even AJ is annoying me at the moment."

"Let's just see them and then I promise to take you to bed right afterwards." I said.

She groaned quietly but still unwrapped her legs from my waist.

"Hey, baby." Angela skipped down the few stairs and hugged Blanket.

"Hi, mommy. I missed you at school today," he placed his head on her stomach. "And I missed AJ."

"I missed you, too, Blanket. Now take me to your siblings, okay? Mommy's really and tired."

"Okay, mommy. Oh, and auntie Rosa is here! She came a while ago, she said she missed us!"

Angela looked at me.

I shrugged, "I have no idea. You know I would've set it up already if I wanted to."

"Let's go, mommy!" Blanket took her hand and attempted to pull her, but he wasn't as strong as he thought he is.

"Hold on, Blanket," I crouched down in front of him. "How long has auntie Rosa been here?"

"I don't know, daddy, but she was here when we got back from school. Come on already!"

He was now pulling on both of our hands.

We looked at each other, knowing we had no choice.

~

Angela: What is my sister doing here? We haven't talked in more than 3 months.

The only time I did see her was when I was at the hospital, but we didn't really talk at all, and neither did Luciano and I. They just came to support me and left the next day.

Blanket took us to the play room, where Rosa was encouraging Jared to give her a kiss.

"Dammi un bacio, bambini! (Give me a kiss, baby!)" she said while pointing at her cheek.

I cleared my throat and crossed my arms over my chest.

"Angela!" she smiled. "Hi... Oh, Gosh, that bump..."

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Come on, kids, this is grownups time. Last one in the kitchen is a rotten egg!" Michael announced, taking Rose and Jared in his arms and running off.

"So?" I looked at my sister.

"Um... I came to apologize for what happened at Christmas."

I shook my head. Maybe I did miss her, and maybe I did need her support, but what her and Luciano said that day hurt me.

"Luci is really worried about you," she sighed, rubbing her arm. I knew her well enough to know she did that when she was lying. "He wanted to come along, but he's helping dad with something..."

"Stop lying, Rosa. Luciano isn't busy, he just didn't want to come. You yourself saw how angry he was at Christmas. And you know what? I don't care. You both had to get all the things you said off you chest, and you did. So congrats. Now get out of my house."

I actually did care a bit. They hurt me. I was finally happy, and all they did was judge me.

"If you didn't care, Angela, you wouldn't have lashed out at me like you did. Not to mention how you let everyone around the Christmas tree know that I can't have kids! That's a sensitive subject, and you knew that!" Rosa scoffed.

Just like me, Rosa gets defensive when someone starts a fight with her. It's a thing we both have.

"Jake is a sensitive subject, yet you and Luciano decided to bring it up as well."

"Well, I'm sorry for thinking you're replacing him way too fast. How the hell do you replace such an amazing man, with someone who can't even compare to him?! Michael isn't half the man Jake was."

"What did you expect me to do?! Be a sad widow all day?! I couldn't do that, I had kids to think about! And when Michael came into our lives everything became better. He was an amazing boyfriend and an even more amazing father to Lily and Eric, and God knows they needed one," I said, rolling my eyes. "And he is all the man you'd ever want, Rosa. Jake and Michael are two completely different people, so don't ever compare them. Yes, I may have moved on, but I still love Jake. He's everything and more to me, and you know that. Michael, on the other hand, is the one for me now. He's here, and Jake isn't. So how about you and Luciano move on like I did?"

I turned to leave, but she grabbed my wrist.

"Did you really move on? Are you sure, Angela? Because the way you talk about Jake doesn't sound like someone who moved on." she told me.

"Isn't it obvious?" I rubbed my bump, feeling AJ move a little. "The baby girl inside me proves it, Rosa. This is my life now, and I wouldn't change it for anything. Not even for Jake. If you'll excuse me, this pregnant woman is going to bed because she's tired, and all she wants is a foot rub from her husband."

I left my sister right where she was, before slumping my way to the staircase again.

~

"There's nothing your hands can't fix," I sighed in relief as Michael pressed hard into my foot. "I knew she wouldn't apologize. And even if she did, then she wouldn't have meant it-"

Michael cut me off, "Stop thinking about her and get some rest. This whole family drama thing is really starting to annoy me, Angie."

"Says the man who's sisters won't even talk to me when I'm around them." I rolled my eyes and put my head on the pillow.

"Hey, that's a whole different thing."

"Mmhm, whatever you say, Mike."

I shut my eyes, hoping to gain some of my powers back.

But of course, once I started to relax even a little bit, my phone went off.

"Speaking of family drama... It's Luciano." I said when I looked at the name on the screen.

I took in a deep breath before pressing the green button.

"Yes?"

"Can you tell your guard to let me past these stupid gates? Hey, I'm her brother for crying out loud! Blood related and all!" he said, probably less to me and more to the guard he was fighting with.

A car horn was heard loudly, making me almost throw the phone to the other side of the room.

"What are you doing here, Luci?" I asked him.

Michael looked at me and shook his head.

"I want to talk to you about what happened with Rosa earlier," Luciano mumbled while honking again. "Open the damn gates! What kind of guard doesn't know the King of Pop's family members?!"

"Give me the phone, Angela." Michael said, getting up.

"Luciano, calm down-" I told my brother, but it was too late. Michael already snatched the phone from my hold.

"Listen, Luciano, I know you all need to sort this out, but Angela is in strict bedrest, and if she doesn't do any resting, it could be harmful for her and my baby girl. So I'd appreciate it if you and Rosa would leave her alone for next few days. Thanks."

My husband pressed the red button angrily and did something in my phone before shoving it down in his pocket.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Taking you phone for the rest of the day so you could have a quiet, and relaxing evening," be answered with a smile. "Enough family drama for today, alright?"

He's probably right. This isn't good.

I nodded, telling him I have to go to the bathroom for a quick tinkle since AJ started pressing way too hard on my bladder.

Once I sat down on the toilet, I felt a slight cramping in my lower abdomen.

I ignored it, thinking it was just AJ's small movements causing my uterus to stretch a bit.

But when I finished my business and slid a piece of toilet paper in between my legs, I saw the blood.

I clutched my stomach as the pain increased, and screamed Michael's name as loud as I could.
