What's a Holocron?
Izuku was excited. It was his fourth birthday tomorrow, so he was probably getting his quirk soon! Mummy had already tucked him in and kissed him goodnight, but Izuku just couldn't sleep!
He huffed, sitting up impatiently. Was it morning yet? It definitely felt like he'd been awake all night.
There was a strange box floating above Izuku's All Might covers. It was glowing a soft blue colour, and gave off a.. reassuring feeling.
Izuku reached out and touched it hesitantly.
The glow brightened, and a fuzzy hologram was projected beside Izuku's bed.
"Good evening young one. This is no doubt a surprise, however I will be happy to explain." A kind looking man said.
Izuku looked between the man and the box.
"Who are you? What's the box? How did it get here? Is this your quirk? Are you a villain or a hero?" Izuku asked.
The man chuckled.
"My name is long forgotten, you won't need it. The box is a Holocron, a kind of.. supercomputer that can store minds. As for how it got here.. it probably floated through space until it detected a force sensitive. I don't know what you mean by quirk, I apologise. As for your villain and hero question.. well I'm afraid I don't understand that one either. I do hope I'm not a villain however." He said.
Izuku scratched his head. The man didn't seem to be lying...
"You said the helo- halo- holucrun stores minds. Does that mean you're a ghost? Are you an alien? Why are you here? Why did you make yourself into a ghost? What's a force sensitive?" Izuku asked.
The hologram chuckled.
"I suppose I am an alien, to you at least. And yes, my true body died many millennia ago. As for why I did this.. well, to pass on the knowledge of all the Jedi to a force sensitive, so that the Jedi do not truly die. Let me explain further..."
Izuku didn't sleep a wink that night, listening to the Jedi Master talk about the Jedi and the Sith, all of the planets and people out there, about the Force, and all of the things it influences.
"How do I know how many midichlorians I have?" Izuku asked.
The man smiled.
"Does that mean you wish to learn the Jedi way?" He asked.
Izuku nodded enthusiastically.
"Alright then. Put your finger on the top of the box, right there. It'll need to take a sample of your blood, but it won't hurt."
Izuku followed his Master's directions, waiting expectantly.
The Jedi's eyes widened.
"I- W-what??" He said.
"What is it Master?" Izuku asked.
"You are only four, and yet your midichlorian count is already over 7,000! That number will only grow until you reach 12. I estimate you will reach at least 19,000, probably higher!"
"I-is that good?" Izuku asked.
His master chuckled.
"Indeed it is. It means you will become a greater Jedi than even the Jedi Masters of old. The Sith Lord, Darth Vader himself had a midichlorian count of 20,000. He was said to be the greatest Force user in history!"
__
And so Izuku received his quirk. Or at least, everybody thought he had a stronger version of his mother's, but in reality it was the Force.
Izuku did his own research when he turned six. Apparently, people without quirks were called 'quirkless'. His Master comforted him, saying that maybe he had a far higher midichlorian count because of his quirklessness.
Izuku spent the next 6 years training with the Force, learning new abilities from his Master every time he mastered one.
He learned how to use the force to push and pull objects, how to heal himself during battle, how to regain energy through meditation, how to influence the minds of others.
He also learned the seven lightsaber forms from his Master. He used a balanced stick, carved using the Force, to practice each of the forms. By the time he was 10, Izuku had mastered all seven forms, but still wasn't satisfied.
Separate, the forms were powerful. However, if Izuku could create his own eighth form to link the other seven together as one..
Izuku spent four years creating and altering stances and movements. He was able to link the First style's neutrality with the Second's saber duel focus and the Third's blaster deflection focus. He continued working on incorporating the Fourth's speed and the Fifth's power, as well as the Sixth's all round style and the Seventh's aggressiveness.
Izuku's Eighth style had stances that, with a single movement, could become an agressinve attack, a solid defence, or a swift deflect from each of the other styles. Izuku's style allowed him to be using the Third's blaster defence one second, then transition smoothly into the Second style's dulist focus the next. His Master was astounded.

On his tenth birthday, Izuku's Master revealed to him how to acquire a Kyber crystal to place into his lightsaber hilt. Izuku had already made a pair that could be attached at the butt and wielded double-edged.
"I believe your people call these crystals 'quartz'. They have little to no value unless a Jedi pushes the Force through them, adding their signature into the fabric of the crystal. Depending on you, the crystal, and your lightsaber, can become a variety of colours." His Master said.
Izuku held the chunk of colourless rock in his hands. He concentrated on the crystal in his hands, and let the Force flow through him.
He opened his eyes and watched the white crystal become a deep green.
He did the same with the second crystal, but this one turned a deep blue.
Izuku slotted the crystals into both of the black hilts, screwing them closed and floating them into his hands, the green in his right, the blue in his left.
With a low woosh, the glowing green and blue blades emerged from the black hilts.
Izuku's Master clapped slowly.
"Well done Izuku. You have indeed surpassed every Jedi out there. Not only have you mastered every force technique and saber style I have taught you, you have begun to create your own to meet your needs. I have nothing left to teach you. Take another midichlorian test using the Holocron, and I will retreat inside. You can call on me when you are lost, and in need of guidance, but I doubt you will need me. Good luck Jedi Master, and be careful. The Sith have gone 'extinct' many times during the Jedi's time of peace, only to pop up at the most unexpected of times."
Izuku placed his finger on top of the Holocron just as his Master disappeared for the last time.
Izuku could feel the voice from within, echoing within his mind.
"21,000."
