After bumping into about every wolf in the makeshift camp we finally found the alpha speaking with the healer. The alpha looked up as we approached "thank you so much for helping defend my pack"he said. I nodded and placed the tiny animal down at the healers paws "I found this animal in the fire and I couldn't let him die plz help it" the healer nodded and scooped up the animal before walking off. Me and Jase turned to the alpha "I want to go investigate the fire" I told him " it is no coincidence that right after we arrive a fire rages through the entire territory" I say looking him in the eye. He nods "I don't see why you ask my permission but it is a good idea you should leave once the fire dies down." We nod "we are gonna go find a spot to rest" Jase says and leads me of into the crowd.

We soon found a spot that was clear enough for us to take off. We flew down the beach looking for a safe spot to rest for a while. After flying a ways away from the makeshift camp we found a bolder big enough for us to sleep on. When I landed I tripped and nearly fell of the rock but Jase sent some wind to catch. Once I was seated safely on the rock Jase decided to take guard duty. Suddenly an idea comes to me as quietly as I can I get up and crawl towards Jase. I wait and then I pounce on home with a laugh we tumble of the rock and land in the shallow water with a splash. He struggled to his paws a goofy grin on his face as he leaps at me but I jump out the way and sprint through the shallows with a laugh.

Jase takes of after me nipping playfully at my tail as we run I decide to run a little deeper into the water until it is up to my belly fur Jase lapped following with a laugh I start to go deeper until I am swimming a little ways out Jase is following me out when suddenly I am dragged under with a yelp. I claw and kick trying to fight my way sack to the surface something had a tight hold on one of my back paws. I see Jase's shadow at the surface and see him dive under the water. The thing is dragging me deeper and my lungs are dying for air suddenly I feel sick and open my mouth. Bad idea water rushes in I quickly close it as Jase reaches me and claws at what ever is holding me. It reluctantly lets go and Jase graves my scruff dragging me to the surface. I finally lose consciousness from loss of air.
