Kodiak:

Kodiak pursed his lips as he watched Yasmin come to what Nathaly was saying. Orion had talked about her quite a lot and had always outlined that she was a headstrong woman. And now, Kodiak knew what he was talking about. But he could see the love shining in his cousin's eyes, so strong it almost blinded him. 

"Come on, Yasmin," he whispered under his breath, watching as Nathaly stopped in front of the Capulet.

She nodded grimly and Nathaly stood, brushing dirt off her leather pants. Kodiak traced her legs, longing festering heavily inside of him. Orion followed his gaze and smirked as Yasmin trailed after Nathaly towards the exit of the cavern. 

"What happened to the lone wolf, eh?" Orion nudged his arm affectionately. 

Kodiak chuckled, shaking his head. 

"I was young, Or. What did you expect?"

"What's her name, then?" 

"Nathaly." Orion gazed at Nathaly, a gleam in his eyes.

"She's feisty." 

"To say the least."

"But does she keep her word?" Orion questioned, still looking at the exit of the cavern. 

"She does. I know my girl." Orion chuckled, shaking his luscious mane of hair.

"Your girl, huh? 

"I thought we were past this." He said in mock exasperation.

"No way. Everybody's going to tease you so much over this. Prepare yourself." 

Kodiak looks down. "I... don't think I'll go back either." Orion turns to him, shocked.

"Why? Everyone loves you."

"The one that matters the most to me doesn't live in the clans. She wouldn't want that life. I won't put her through that. And honestly, I'm not interested in becoming Alpha. You know how Afon wants to lead. I thought it was what I wanted but it isn't. Nathaly showed me that."

Orion smiled fondly. "Neither do I. You took the words right out of my mouth."

"Wow. For the first time, we actually agree about something. Make a record." Orion snarked.

"I believe Nathaly will keep her promise."

"I hope so, cousin. I hope so."
