Chapter One

Euijoo stood in the doorway for a moment before shutting the door behind him. K was seated at his bed with a welcoming smile. "So, the leader has the privilege to share a room with the king?"

Euijoo laughed awkwardly and itched his head. "I suppose so."

I don't know how I'll survive a single night in the same room as him.

"Don't just stand there. Make yourself comfortable." K's smile was sweet and welcoming.

Euijoo walked into the room and set his suitcase on his bed.

As he unpacked his suitcase, Euijoo tried his best to appear nonchalant, but K's watchful gaze made it impossible to focus. His cheeks warmed, and his usual composure crumbled into a clumsy mess, with objects frequently slipping from his hands onto the floor. When he finally finished, Euijoo nervously scratched his head and gave K a shy smile.

"So... Do you want to do anything? I already finished my schedule for the day. It's still pretty early," Euijoo said softly.

K couldn't help but laugh as he observed Euijoo's awkwardness. Every clumsy gesture tugged at K's heart, and the sight of Euijoo's bashful demeanor only made him more captivating. When Euijoo finally turned to him with that shy smile, it took K a moment to respond.

"We could play video games if you want," K suggested, his voice laced with mischief. "How about this.. whoever loses grants the winner a wish?" He gave EJ a playful look and a smirk, barely containing his amusement.

Euijoo nodded with a small hum, shifting his weight from one foot to the other. "Sure~" His voice was light, though he was excited and nervous inside. He moved carefully around the bed, settling on the side closest to K. "Let's start," he said, his voice full of anticipation. His smile never wavered, but the blush spreading across his face betrayed the emotions he tried to conceal.

K chuckled at Euijoo's nervousness, the sight of him blushing fueling K's desire to tease him further. "Get ready, because I'm going to kick your ass. And then, I'm getting my wish," K declared confidently, leaning closer to Euijoo and gently tapping his nose with a finger.

Euijoo's heart raced, but he focused on grabbing a controller to distract himself. As the game began, he felt an undeniable tension in the air, a current that made him shiver just being near K. His usual composure wavered, and his gameplay suffered for it. Unsurprisingly, K won the first round.

K grinned, turning his back to Euijoo. "Please, sweet EJ, massage your hyung's tense shoulders." His voice was teasing.

K was wearing a tank top, and much of his skin was exposed.

Embarrassed but unable to refuse, Euijoo hesitated before placing his hands on K's shoulders, beginning to knead gently. Feeling the soft skin against his palms. His cheeks burned hotter with every touch, and his heart raced uncontrollably.

"You're too gentle, little boy," K teased. "You can go harder. Show me your strength, Juju."

Euijoo blushed even more but obeyed, applying firmer pressure to K’s shoulders. When he finally stopped, his arms fatigued, he laughed nervously. "Happy now?"

K turned to face him, meeting Euijoo's gaze with a sly smile. "Are you always this shy?" he asked, leaning in closer. His voice dropped to a whisper as he teased, "I actually like seeing you like this."

Euijoo’s breath hitched, and the proximity sent shivers down his spine. "Of course... I mean, I'm always shy," he said nervously. But K's boldness left him at a loss for words, so to avoid more awkwardness, Euijoo stood up and darted off. Running around the small room.

"Ya! What are you doing!?" K called out, chasing Euijoo around the room like a child. Laughter filled the space as K chased Euijoo around the small space.

But then K pushed Euijoo down on his bed and collapsed on top him. Euijoo froze when he realized how close their faces were, K's warm breath on his skin.

K smirked, his voice dropping into a low, teasing tone. "Let's play again. I want to beat you again, loser." K got off of Euijoo and helped him up.

Euijoo’s heart pounded in his chest as he nodded, grabbing the controller once more. This time, he was determined to win.and win he did. With a victorious grin, he clapped his hands and turned to K.

"Since I won, you have to take me to dinner," Euijoo announced shyly, biting his lower lip.

K's gaze flicked to Euijoo's lips, and he reached out instinctively, brushing his thumb against them. "Wherever you want. Just choose. But don’t bite your lip again," K murmured before pulling back, his voice betraying the intensity of his emotions.

K’s bold actions caught EJ completely off guard. Their eyes met, and butterflies fluttered in Euijoo’s stomach. It dawned on him then that his feelings for K were far from normal. They were deeper, stronger, and far more complex than anything he had ever experienced before.

Was the same desire reflecting in K’s gaze? Or was K just naturally bold and flirty with everyone? Euijoo didn’t know, and he dared not assume. His eyes fluttered down to K’s hand as it brushed against his lip.

"Wherever doesn’t matter... Just… somewhere we both like," EJ whispered, his voice barely audible. To him, it didn’t matter where they went, as long as it was K who took him.

K heard the soft answer and felt his heart stir, though he quickly excused himself.

...

In the bathroom, he splashed cold water on his face, hoping to cool the heat that lingered from the moment. He stared at his reflection in the mirror, as if it would erase the memory of Euijoo’s lips from his mind. His thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door. It was Nicholas, inviting him and Euijoo to dinner.

K declined, his voice curt. "I’m not hungry." Instead, he headed to the dance room, his thoughts in turmoil. Training seemed like the only way to escape them, though even with every practiced step, his mind kept circling back to Euijoo. his soft skin, his shy smile, his infectious laugh. By the time K collapsed to the floor in exhaustion, his feelings were no clearer.

When Taki entered the room, K startled. The younger boy looked worried and urged him to eat. Taki’s presence was comforting in its own way, and without thinking, K hugged him tightly. "I’m fine, just tired," K said, forcing a smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes.

Reluctantly, he followed Taki to the kitchen, eating in silence. Taki’s calm companionship grounded him, but the weight in K’s chest remained. After dinner, he excused himself, retreating to his room for a shower.

...

As the hot water poured over him, K leaned his forehead against the wall, trying to sort through his feelings. Images of Euijoo swirled in his mind. those innocent eyes, that delicate blush. But with them came an unfamiliar desire that made K feel both aroused and ashamed. He shook his head, forcing the thoughts away.

Meanwhile, Euijoo had taken a walk to clear his mind. The fresh air helped him piece together his emotions, though it scared him to admit what he now understood: K was special to him, far more than just a friend. But the fear that these feelings might be one-sided held Euijoo back from fully embracing them.

When Euijoo returned to the dorm, he noticed the bathroom door was closed, the light inside glowing softly. Hearing the water running, he pressed his ear to the door, curiosity and nervous anticipation blooming in his chest. He hadn’t seen K since before his walk, and the thought of facing him after the awkward tension earlier both excited and unsettled him.

Before he could think better of it, K opened the door, only to come face-to-face with Euijoo.

Euijoo's eyes went down to K’s damp, bare chest. A towel was wrapped around his waist, and another was slung over his shoulder as he dried his hair. Euijoo froze, his face burning as he took a step back. Feeling embarrassed for looking down at that moment.

K, however, maintained his composure, his confidence unshaken by his exposure. He was amused by Euijoo’s reaction, stepping closer as Euijoo retreated. "Where have you been?" K asked, his tone low and warm. He stopped just short of EJ, placing a hand on the younger boy’s head and stroking his hair affectionately.

Euijoo’s heart raced at the gentle touch, his thoughts spiraling. The tension between them was undeniable now, but neither dared to voice what lingered in the air between them.
