Kate's POV

        I jolt awake and look at my clock and sigh. "1:23 in the dang morning..." I mumble under my breath. I look over to my left and there lays Damian. I rub my eyes and look around my room. It looks like there was a fight or something. Then I remembered. There was a commercial about hunting whales, and me and Damian had a type of 'play fight'. He said that he would be a whale hunter, so like another regular person I tackled him to the floor. and we wrestled for a while.

        I shook him awake and he too shot up wondering what had previously happened. He got up to leave, but then I  grabbed his wrist. "Hey..uh..would you want to go out on a little early morning patrol with me?" I said smirking at him. He returned the smirk and said. "Give me 5 minutes." with that he was gone. 

        I quickly changed into my Catgirl uniform, and within 5 minutes Damian knocked on my door an he was ready to go. We swiftly made our way down to the Batcave, while I was trying to get my damn boots on the whole way down the stairs.

        We had to sneak past Dick, to get to the exit. I know he heard us, but he didn't bother to get up. The motor bike would be to noisy so we decided to walk out on foot. We were jumping from building to building looking for something to do. We found that same hobo guy that almost attacked me trying to eat a mailbox...

        Damian and I walked up to him. He kindly asked him to stop trying to eat the mailbox, because it was not healthy to be eating mailboxes and such. I just hid behind him the whole time that this was going on. The man looked up from the mailbox and smugly said..."Oh then I'll just eat you instead.." He said licking his lips. 

        "RUN!" I yell punching him in the face. I grabbed Damian's wrist and started to run.The hobo chased after us. we weren't really taking this seriously we were just laughing the whole time. Damian eventually pulled out his grappling hook and lifted us up to the top of a building. The hobo tried climbing the building side but failed many times. He eventually just walked away, we got a good laugh out of this one!

        We also caught a few muggers trying to do stupid things like smash through random windows, and stuff like that.After a few hours of roaming the Streets of Gotham, We got very tired. So he went to the very top of Wayne productions and watched the sun rise. "I like all the different colors in the sky..." I said looking at the sun rise."I suppose the colors..are..adequate.." Damian shrugged, also staring into the sun rise as well.

        " Kyle...Why have you been so distant lately?" Damian asked looking over to me. I was about to say something, But heard other people talking. All we heard was mumbling so we walked closer so we could hear the conversation better. It was strangely Katie and Yannie talking...

"What's been up with Kate lately?" asked Yannie

"I think i know...but she told me not to tell ANYONE!" Katie warned.

I started to back away slightly.

"Well It's not like anyone is listening." Yannie claimed

That's when I mentally face palmed. and Damian looked back at me.

"But She told me to keep this between us!" Katie basically yelled.

"But come on! I can help!" Yannie begged.

"Fine" Katie said.

I was thinking to myself"Katie don't do it! don't friking do it!"

"Kate still has feelings for Damian..." She said.

Damian's head snapped around to look at me.My face turned a deep shade of red, and I ran.
