After finding absolutely nothing about the man Aphmau bumped into she realized that it was getting late and she needed to get back to the castle. She would be meeting her "Fiance" even though they were truly engaged it wasn't because she wanted to she was being forced to. This wasn't the first time they met, however, it is the first time they will be alone together.  Aphmau was lost in her thoughts as she was walking home on the edge of a canal then she slipped but before she fell in someone caught her. Aphmau looked up, it was the man with raven black hair. He lifted her back onto the street.

"Thank you, again,"Quickly whispered Aphmau.

The young man nodded,"I never caught your name before, what is it?" He asked

 "My name is Aria" she had rehearsed that line a million times, she didn't want anyone knowing who she was, anyone besides Katelyn.                                                                                                                                              

"And my name is Aaron," he said without a smile  

 Aphmau looked at her watch and gasped "I've got to go, I have a..uh meeting to attend to, can we meet up her Thursday?" she asked

 "Uh...sure I guess I'll see you tomorrow then," said Aaron

Aphmau ran back to her castle, with Aaron still in her thoughts, making sure to not bump into anyone else. She climbed up the ivy ridden wall into her bedroom. Aphmau quickly changed into her new fancy dress and ran down the stairs to the common room. Once she arrived there she saw her fiance talking to her father.

"Hello father," she said formally.

"Hello dear,I was just discussing business here with your fiance, I'm going to head out so you two can spend some time alone." her father left the common room leaving Aphmau alone with her fiance, Laurance, he was the second heir to the throne of Meteli  and would be ruling next to Aphmau. Aphmau could tell Laurance liked her but she harbored no feelings toward him so things got awkward from time to time. He also wasn't the kindest person ever, especially to commoners

"You look beautiful" Laurance finally said after a long awkward silence

"Thank you, and you look handsome as well." Aphmau smiled falsely

 Laurance was handsome and all the girls in the kingdom wanted him but Aphmau didn't like him because he knew he was only popular because of his looks and he often bragged about it. 

They talked for a few hours while Aphmau faked a smile. Aphmau's guard finally came in "Lady Aphmau, it is time for you to get to bed, you can resume your conversation in the morning." explained her guard Garroth. Aphmau nodded and said her goodbyes to Laurance and headed to her room. She stayed awake for hours because she couldn't sleep not with Aaron on her mind, she was sure she recognized him from somewhere just she didn't know where. Also, she was falling for him and she didn't even know what kind of man he was.
