This is my first fan fiction, so leave any tips in the comments, Enjoy!

There was once a world where kings and queens ruled over kingdoms and people were happy no matter what their stature. In this time there lived a young princess named Aphmau she was the first born to the queen and king of the kingdom of Phoenix Drop. She would become Queen one day and rule like her mother. Unlike other worlds no matter the gender of the child they would always be the ones first in line to rule.  Aphmau's guard Garroth cared for her and always no matter the situation.

Aphmau detested the castle and often left to go and wander the villages alone at night. She had a best friend named Katelyn that she often visited when she left the castle Kate was a peasant, if the Royals knew that Aphmau was sneaking out to see a peasant they would be disgusted, even of the idea of Aphmau being seen with a commoner scared them. 

Today Aphmau went to go visit Katelyn in one of the villages, it wasn't any different from any other day, not yet anyways. Aphmau knocked on Katelyn door but received no answer she assumed no one was home so she decided to wait for Katelyn. She took in the sweet smells of the town and the freedom she felt. She was lost in her thoughts when she finally realized she had bumped into someone and dropped her bag. Before she had time to react the person who had bumped into her had already picked it up. The young man handed Aphmau the bag

"Thank you," said Aphmau

"You are welcome. But next time watch where you're going." stated the young man. He had raven black hair the same as Aphmau's, it was rare in the world they lived in. His eyes were a dark brown color.  Something about him seemed oddly familiar to her, they way his hair looked but it wasn't a look that comforted it was a look she could remember as one that strikes fear into people. Even with his hair, the young man was undoubtedly handsome.  By the time Aphmau had finished admiring the man he had left and she was left standing alone in the middle of the town! Aphmau ran back to Katelyn's house and luckily when she got there Katelyn was back. Aphmau told Katelyn everything about the man but even the girl who seemed to know everything was out of answers. Aphmau wanted to know more about this man and his hair. She needed to know.
