"What if we get in trouble?" I asked. "Sis, we won't. Don't get your panties in a bunch," Scarlet Valure assured me. I looked at her with doubt. "If a vampire gets caught hanging with a human, let alone bringing one to a reserved vampire party, the punishment is deadly, torturous," I added, with worry in my voice.

"Sister, trust me, it will be fine," she replied, smiling. She gave me a vial with dark black liquid in it. "What is this?" I asked, curiousity getting the best of me. "It is a potion I got from a warlock. It is to disguise a human as a vampire. Drink up," she answered.

I looked at it with a hesitant stare. I eventually got the courage to drink it all down. It tasted nasty, like a mix of black licorice and blood so, that is why I slammed it fast. "It will only last for 12 hours, ok?" She asked.
I nodded in agreement.

My tanner skin turned pale. A vampire bite appeared on the right side of my neck. My eyes turned dark red. I felt my inscissors grow bigger, sharper. Wow, this is SO cool!!

"Let's get dressed!!" She excitedly added in an almost sing-song voice. She went into the bathroom to change. I slipped out of my black hoodie and dark blue jeans. I put on a dark crimson red strapless gown that Scarlet picked out for me. I also put on a pair of black leather wedges that I picked out.

I looked at myself in the full length mirror. I stared at my reflection, amazed of how beautiful I looked. Wow, Scarlet has great taste in style. I am actually pretty excited to go to the party looking this good! Scarlet wanted to bring me as a guest and to meet cute vampire guys..

Oy, I already told her, I am not dating, not yet at least. Her boy craziness and her need to set me up is funny. I am just so scared that we might get caught. I don't want her getting killed. She is my bestest friend ever!

I remember when we first met, at Hot Topic in the mall. I was looking for band tees and I bumped into her. We clicked and have been friends since. She told me she was a vampire a few years later. That matter didn't even bother me since we are so close.

Gosh, I am so blessed to have her in my life. She was and always is there for me when I need her. She is like a sister to me. I am just super happy and glad with her. I smiled, thinking about her and our friendship.

Scarlet came out in a dark, forest green short dress with black leather boots that were knee high. She had her blonde hair up in a bun with her bangs out. Her black eyeshadow made her red eyes look even darker. She had the whole gothic, goregous look going on. She smiled sweetly at me.

"Wow, you look goregous!!" I exclaimed. "Aww thanks! You do too girl! You aren't finished yet though," She added. "What do you mean?" I asked. "I still have to do your hair and makeup!" She exclaimed, happily.

I sat in a chair as she brushed and curled my dark brown hair. She finished and started the makeup. She did black eyeliner, dark red lipstick and dark red eyeshadow. My brown eyes appeared darker than they were with makeup. I got up and fully looked at myself.

I looked goregous and transformed. Wow, Scarlet really can do wonders. We both look absolutely amazing! I hugged her tightly. "Aww, thank you so much! I love it!" I exclaimed.

She hugged me back, smiling. "Aww, your welcome! Anything for you sis!" She replied. I smiled cheerfully at her. Aww, she is SO nice and sweet!

"So, are we ready to par-tay?" She asked. "Yes, I know we are gonna blow everyone's minds!" I exclaimed. "Actually, I would bite their necks before blowing their minds," she added, smiling evily. I laughed at her joke. She grinned and laughed.

"Just know, there is blood drinks and regular alcohal. I suggest you should just drink the alcohal," she added, giggling. "Yeah, I hate the taste of blood, no offense," I replied. "None taken sis," she said. We headed out and locked the apartment door.

We left the building and went into a long, dark alley. "Ooh, so scary! Are we gonna get killed and left in the garbage?" I asked, giggling. "No, this is the way to the party," she replied. "It is in an alley?" I asked.

"No, it's underground," she answered. "Oh, so secret and discrete," I commented. "Us vampires have to be so, we don't get staked and killed by the humans who don't understand," she added, seriously. "Oh, I am sorry.." I added. "We just don't always trust all humans," she replied.

"I can see why," I said. "Well, I did trust you, you little human," she replied, smiling. She playfully punched me in the arm. "Don't make me bite you!" I playfully warned her. She threw her head back and laughed.

"You? Bite me? I know you wouldn't," she said. I sighed, knowing she was right. "True, I would never hurt you sis!" I added gleefully.

We stopped for a moment. She went against a dumpster as her hands searched for a button. She found it underneath the dumpster and pushed it. A metalic, black door came. She opened it and we went down a ladder into pitch blackness, after the door automatically shut.

"I can't see a damn thing!" I added. "Pretend you can since vampires see perfect in the dark. Just follow my voice," she replied. I did as she said and followed close behind her. We went down a long flight of stairs.

It got colder and damper as we went deeper down. We finally came upon two large red doors. The doors had a candle on each side, making it easier to see. I could hear faint talking from lots of people, behind the doors. I took a deep breath and looked at Scarlet.

"Ready?" She asked, smiling wide. I looked at the two huge doors, scared and nervous. Nothing bad can go wrong. Scarlet already told me that it will be ok. I took another deep breath.

I let my confidence and reassurance settle in. "Yes, let's go," I answered. "It will be fun, trust me. You will love it!" She exclaimed. She opened the doors and we both went inside.
