Part 1: TJ's Point of View
Why did we have to move to this small town in my last year of high school? questioned TJ Riley as she walked into the small bar on the main street of her new residence. TJ Riley just moved to the small town of Fraser Bay with her family, which consist of her mum- Diane, her father- Samuel, younger sister- Maddie and younger brother- Troy.
The Riley family moved from a big city to the small town, for the fact that her father got a job as a principal at one of the high schools in the area. TJ was not thrilled at the idea of having to leaving her best friend in Brisbane but her father promised that she will enjoy being in Fraser Bay.
TJ just dropped Troy of at the skate park and thought she would grab a bite to eat somewhere. TJ noticed a empty sit at the bar, she sat down and pulled out her phone to text her best friend.
She texted her best friend saying: Hey love, I miss you so much. I wish dad didn't make me move here; I'm at a bar now grabbing a bite to eat. I will call you tonight. Love you Tahnee.
TJ put her phone away and ordered a burger and a can of coke. She smiled at the bar attendant and took a quick glance around the bar to scope out the place. Her eyes stopped on the handsome guy sitting right beside her, she placed her bag on the back of the seat and moved her chair closer.
She looked this gorgeous specimen up and down and noticed his blonde hair was flopped over the front of his forehead, nearly cutting off his sight of the book. She could see the cute little dimples placed precisely next his mouth in his concentration face as he held his gaze on his tattered book in his hands.
The guy looked up from his tattered book and asked, "Hi, are you alright there?"
TJ gazed into his gorgeous blue eyes and replied, "I was admiring your book. Not many guys read pride and prejudice these days."
The guy looked at the cover of the book and said, "Well I'm not most guys."
"Why are you reading the book? You are either reading it for an assignment or have to read it for a class?" asked TJ.
"Neither, I'm just reading it for the fun of it," replied the guy.
The bar attendant placed TJ's drink and food in front of her and she said, "Thank you, want to go halves in it?" as she pointed to her burger.
"If you want," replied the guy as he put down his book and moved his chair closer to her.
"Yeah I want," replied TJ, as she looked him up and down.
Before TJ knew it she was sitting up against the mirror in the female toilets, making out with this complete handsome stranger.
