Author's note: This is based on a true story. After 8/24 will be made up however. I know I write short. I'm not good with words.

Oh my god. That just happened. I was shocked to my core. I would have never guessed she was gonna tell me that she likes me. I didn't even care that she wasn't in love, I was just happy she liked me back. She looked at me like I was crazy as I was smiling like an idiot. If you have never felt this way before, let me explain it to you. Imagine someone handed you the cutest puppy ever and you got to keep it. That's how happy I was. Like I said, I'd loved her for years. So hearing this, was a HUGE accomplishment to me.

"You... like me back?" She gave me a nod and I smiled more. I haven't been this happy in awhile. She looked at me, "I can tell you're happy." I laughed at her comment. I did something that I would have never had the confidence to do. I kissed her on the cheek. She blushed like crazy. We cuddled and watched videos on Tik Tok. Finally, the time came for her to take me home. We listened to love songs in the car and we talked for a few in the car while outside my house. I gave her a kiss on the cheek and went inside. That was one of the best days of my life.
