I'm back in business!! Although To The Very End will be updated on Friday instead of Thursday, since I have THREE TESTS to study for on Thursday.

~Kagura's POV~

"That idiot!" I fumed in my dorm room, waiting for news of Millianna's condition. "How dare he..." Something in my mind didn't make sense though. What motive could he possibly have? If it was because he was angry at me... hell, if he was angry at me, he should've come and dueled it out with me instead! But what else could there be...

Time to find out.

~Rogue's POV~

As I walked from my dorm to the clan, I felt an uneasy feeling in me... like something bad was going to happen today. I thought back to my morning routine. Let's see... I woke up... fed Frosch... ate breakfast... put on my coat... locked the door...

Wait... did I... turn off the stove?!

Shoot... I cooked breakfast for myself today instead of buying it... I have to go back and check on Frosch!! And the house, of course...

As I ran back, I saw a blur of blue sticking out behind a tree. Frosch comes before any strange trees, I muttered to myself, and ran past.

~Kagura's POV~

Finally! I'm here! Without another thought of hesitation, I kicked down the door to the clan with all of my might. "Where is your clan leader?" I yelled at the Twilight Shadow-Moon clan members. And I used to be one of them...

"I'm afraid I will have to ask you first," Yukino said, stepping forward. "What business you might have with him?"

"That information is confidential," I said sternly. "I must talk to him."

"We cannot allow anyone to speak to our leader without any speakable reason," Sting said, staring at me in the eye. He knew I was here for a reason— he knew me that well— but I could tell he was having trouble reading what was on my mind. My facial expressions didn't exactly help, either.

"I must talk to him at once," I repeated my request. After exchanging a few cold glances with each other, Yukino finally stopped pretending to be angry (she wasn't that good at it yet) and walked closer to me. She bowed her head a little and said, "Sensei Rogue Cheney is not here at the moment. I'm afraid you're going to have to wait a while for his arrival."

"Thank you." I bowed slightly to her and turned to leave.

"What's going on here?"

~Rogue's POV~

When I got back, I saw dark smoke coming from the windows and the doors. No flames?

"Frosch!" I called, opening the door and coughing. "Frosch!!"

I nearly fell over in fright when the smoke around me suddenly froze in ice.

Sighing and sitting up, I looked up to see three familiar faces standing there.

"Yo!" Natsu grinned, holding up Frosch, safely in his arms. I sighed in relief.

"Nice job leaving the stove on," Gray said. "We noticed your house on fire, so we rushed in."

"We might've broken some windows, the back door, and part of the chimney," Gajeel muttered. "Not that it matters."

"HOW DOES THAT NOT MATTER?!" I yelled, jumping up. Cradling Frosch safely in my arms, I sighed in relief. "Why were you guys even passing by, though? I thought the Fairy Tail clan was in the next town over."

"We've been hearing some tales about murders and crimes all related in this city," Gray said.

"Gramps sent a whole team out to search," Natsu added. "Lucy, Juvia, and Levy are trying to find clues through old books, and we got bored so we came out to look."

"Then we passed by and Salamander here said, 'Hey, is it just me, or do I smell fire?' We bust into your house and I grabbed your cat while Salamander ate all the fire and Snowball froze the ash."

"Hey, I'm not a snowball!" Gray yelled.

"BWA HA HA, I can see where he got that. Remember that time when Lyon froze you in some sort of round ice thing? You were totally a snowball!!" I sighed as they continued arguing.

"Thanks, you guys," I said, standing up. "I don't know what would have happened to Frosch if you three hadn't come along."

"No problem, Rogue," Natsu grinned again.

"Watch out for yourself, kid," Gajeel grunted, slapping me on the back.

"We're going to be on our way out now," Gray said. "If you have any clues or suspicions of anything that could mean something about this criminal we're looking for, let us know."

"Alright." I locked all the doors and windows; I could air out the house when I got home. "Come on, Frosch," I said, gesturing to him. "You're coming with me to the clan today." As we walked, I noticed the same shade of blue behind a tree that I had noticed earlier. Curious, I walked over cautiously.

"Why, hello there," a voice smiled at me.

~Siegrain's POV~

"Why, hello there," I smiled slyly at him. "Looks like somebody finally found me."

"Siegrain?" He said. "What are you doing here?"

"Can't I pay a little visit to towns and have a good time?" I retorted.

"If your way of having a good time is playing pranks on others, then no."

"Tsk," I scolded him. "You don't get to decide what others do."

"Maybe so," he said, looking at me straight in the eye. "But that doesn't mean you can't. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got to get to my clan. I'm already late."

I chuckled to myself as he ran off. "Oh, I will make you. After all, it is possible. You said so yourself."

~Rogue's POV~

I finally reached the clan and reached out to open the door. I saw the silhouette of someone standing there, their back turned towards me. The rest of the clan was standing in front of the person, looking at—

Kagura?

"What's going on here?" I said.

She spun around in surprise, and then her face turned into a frown and she had her sword out in a flash. "You murderer!" She yelled, charging at me.

Murderer? I grabbed the katana that I always had on my side and deflected her sword. Kagura drew her sword...

Flashback

"My sword's too powerful, so I always have to keep it sealed away," she told me. "I'll only draw it when I find the person I want to kill."

"Who is that?"

"I don't know yet. But I know someday... someday there might be. There will be."

End of Flashback

I'm the person she wants to kill?!

"What did I do to be called a murderer?" I asked her, changing into my shadow form and protecting myself from her sword's blade.

"Don't talk to me like you don't know," she hissed angrily.

"What did I—" Using her gravity magic, she forced me out of my shadow mode and sliced me in the side. I fell to the ground, feeling the blood drip out of the wound. What did I do?

"That's enough!" Sting shouted, knocking the sword from her hand from behind and pinning her arms behind her back. "You've hurt our leader and stormed the clan."

"Rogue, are you okay?" Yukino asked me quietly, helping me to my feet and handing Frosch to me.

"Yeah, I think," I mumbled. I stood up and nodded at Sting. "Take her in for prisoner." I don't want her to hate me even more, but I have to find out what she's accusing me of.
