(I just realized this is ending soon and i'm SO SAD!!! :'( )

Daniel's POV

Hope- My name is Hope.

I feel as though I know Hope but I have no idea how or why. I must be overthinking it because there's no way I could have seen her before.

We follow Hope into her tent. 

Once we enter it I am in shock. From the outside it looks like simply a small little tent but from inside it was HUGE!

Joey- Wow! How...?

Hope- It's a magic tent.

Daniel- What are you some kind of witch or something?

Hope- Yes, but don't worry, I'm a good kind of witch.

Wow! She was a real life witch! Well now that I looked around, her tent was filled with all kinds of strange, witch-like, magic things.

Joey- Oh okay... so how are you going to help my ankle?

Hope- Here, drink this potion. 

She handed Joey a small teal colored vile.

Daniel- Are you sure that's safe?

I questioned, concerned.

Hope- Yes, it's a pain numbing potion.

Joey- Okay...

He held the vile to his lips and swallowed the liquid.

He seemed okay after doing so, so I relaxed a bit.

Hope- Here, I am going to put this on your ankle and in a few minutes it should be good as new!

He covered his foot with a shiny iridescent cloth (UneFilleDeLaNuit).

The cloth began to shimmer and after a few minutes Hope took it off and reveled Joey's foot, perfectly healed.

Joey- Wow!

Daniel- How did you do that?

Hope- Magic!

The kind witch said and we all laughed.

Hope- Where are you from, travelers?

Joey- We are from the Kingdom of Aedon.

Hope- That's quite a long way to come and dangerous trip.

Joey- Yeah, we were actually shipwrecked. Speaking of which, where actually are we?

Hope- We are in Romania.

Joey- Daniel! We made it! I thought we were just going to end up on some deserted island!

Daniel- That is great but Joey... we lost the map overboard...

Joey- Oh..

He sighed, sitting down and Hope suddenly smiled.

Daniel- Why are you smiling?

Hope- Did your map lead to a Romanian kingdom?

Joey- Yeah it did... how did you know that?

Hope- That's not important, what's important is I know where the kingdom is that your map was leading to!

Daniel- Really? That's great, could you give us directions?

Hope- Better yet, I'll take you there!

Joey- Are you sure? You don't have to. We don't want to be a disruption to your life.

Hope- I do have to. Now come on!

Daniel- Now?

Hope- Yes now! We mustn't waste any time!

Joey- She's right Danny, we need hurry, the whole Kingdom of Aedon is at stake.

Daniel- Alright.

I helped Joey to stand up because I still wasn't entirely sure his ankle had healed. I held his hands and pulled him up, making sure he was stable and giving his hand a little squeeze before letting it go.

Hope watched us and as we started walking to the tent exit. She just stood, still watching, eyes wide.

Joey- What?

Hope- Are you two dating?

She said bluntly, my mouth dropped wide open and so did Joey's. 

Daniel- What? No, of course not!

Joey- No! That's forbidden! ( ;) In Love )

Hope- Oh, that's a shame, it would have been cute.

I was shocked yet again. How could this witch be okay with gays? Homosexuality is considered VERY wrong.

Daniel- Wha- uh, no?!

Hope- Why would it be a problem if you were?

Joey- Because homosexuality is wrong! Everyone knows that!

Hope- Oh honey, not here it isn't!

Daniel- What do you mean? (Don't make any JB references, just stop)

Hope- Homosexuality isn't wrong in Romania, it's really only is 'wrong' in Aedon because it's so isolated.

Joey- Wow...

Hope- So, I'll ask you again. Are you two cuties together?

I glanced at Joey nervously and he cleared his throat.

Joey- Uh... um yeah, uh we are.

He mumbled and a soft smile made it's way to my lips.

Hope- AWE!! That's so cute!!! (Me)

Daniel- Hah yeah, we are together.

I said with a big smile. It felt nice to finally be able to say that after all these years. I wrapped my arm around Joey's waist. Joey put his over my shoulder and leaned into me. Hope just 'awed' with heart eyes.

Hope- Well as adorable as you two are, we really must be going! 

Joey- Yup let's go!

Once me and Joey left the tent we released each other out of habit. We realized we could show affection for once and linked hands, intertwining our fingers. Then we were on our way to the Romanian kingdom.

Joey's POV

After about an hour of following Hope through forest, swaps, around lake and across streams we finally made it to the Romanian kingdom.

We walked in through the open kingdom gates and through the village, towards the large castle on the hill, still following along behind Hope.

As we passed through the village I noticed how different it looked to the Aedon village. The kingdom of Aedon was always depressed and had a hidden, dark undertone. Here in this Romanian kingdom I could just see how happy everyone was. Parents smiling at their playing children. Healthy elders getting plenty of food. Happy people lined the village streets and the ones who noticed us just smiled. This was nothing at all like Aedon, any visitors there would be treated as intruders and either taken into custody or given a lot of looks of suspicion and disapproval. Here in Romania, I was given smiles and offered a loaf of bread by a kind looking lady.

Joey- No thank you, I appreciate it but it's yours.

Lady- No, no! You are a guest to our kingdom! Here, you look tired traveler, please take it.

She said in a Romanian accent. I realized she would stop until I took it. It was a long time since we had last eaten and I didn't want to starve my Danny so I accepted the kind offer.

Joey- Thank you very much. You are very kind.

I took the loaf with a smile and she wondered off happily.

Joey- Hope, do you want some?

Hope- No thank you, I ate before you two arrived at my camp.

Joey- Oh okay.

I broke the loaf of bread in half and gave the other to Danny.

Daniel- Thanks.

After a short time we made it up to the castle gates and Hope stepped forward in front of the guards.

Hope- A venit timpul, ei sunt cei prophesied.

She spoke in Romanian and the guards immediately swung open the large castle gates. We were lead into the front foyer of the enormous castle.

Guard- Rege! Avem vizitatori.

A guard called out in Romanian but they were all talking too quickly for me to understand.

A regal looking man came waltzing through a large doorway and the guards bowed so me, Daniel and Hope followed suit. 

The man was very tall, he had dark brown, raven hair and striking green eyes that for some reason made him look almost familiar. Once we were standing upright again the man spoke.
