Daniel's POV

I was running. I don't know where I'm heading and I don't know how long I've been going. But I don't stop.

After God knows how long I am extremely fatigued and I slow to a walk. I walk for a long, long time before my surroundings start to become somewhat familiar. There's a path, leading up a mountain. The mountain. Where me and Joey kissed for the first time, where he asked me to be his boyfriend, where I fell deeply, deeply in love.

I can't bare to go up it. The pain from recent events was too much and I would just break down. Instead I sit on a log at the base of the mountain for a while. Again I have no clue how long.

After a long time I look up at the sky, the sun was beginning to set. I'd been running away the entire day.

I hoped that the further I went my problems would just disappear.

They didn't.

They just stayed buzzing around in my mind till I felt numb. My thoughts no longer had colour they were just grey.

You can't out run your problems. It doesn't solve them, they are just further away. They'll follow you no matter how far you go.

I'm going back. Most likely not to the castle, at least not yet, but to the kingdom. I might just stay in the village for a while, go back to my peasant life that I can hardly even remember. It sounds kind of nice.

I walked and walked as darkness fell. I heard a rustle behind me, I turned around and saw nothing as I peered into the night. I continued walking, I was exhausted.

I was still a while from the village when I heard a deep growl behind me. I froze. It can't be... I slowly and cautiously turned around to see what caused the noise. There before me stood a wolf. It's razor sharp teeth dripping with saliva, as if they were just waiting to tear me apart. It's eyes; burning red into my soul.

Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse... two more wolves emerged from the darkness of the forest. There were now three wolves all staring me dead in the eye. Their silver fur seemed to glisten only light which was coming from the moon that was now high in the sky.

This is it. This is how I die. I'm never even going to see Joey again. I stared at the lead wolf just awaiting my inevitable fate. I just wish I could see Joey one last time. I wish were weren't  fighting. This was one of the only serious fights we've ever had and I'm never even going to get to forgive him. I want to spend the rest of my life with him but right now, I would settle for just a single minute. Just to look into his beautiful jade eyes and tell him how much I love him and how I always will.

I closed my eyes. Waiting for them to attack. Suddenly I heard loud hoofprints and a wolf snarl. I didn't dare open my eyes as I heard flesh being slashed apart by sharpened metal. The wolf let out a loud whimpering howl and the other two dashed off. My eyes were still closed and I couldn't bring myself to open them. I heard the hoofprints come towards me and I finally opened my eyes. My eyes first went to the dead wolf lying on the forest floor before darting up to my horse riding rescuer. I couldn't believe who is was...

Tyler.

Daniel- What are YOU doing here?!?!

Tyler- Wow, I thought that you'd be a bit happier you're still alive.

Tyler hopped off his horse and proceeded to approach me.

Daniel- DON'T COME NEAR ME! I would rather be torn apart by a wolf that be near you!

Tyler- Oh don't be silly Danny, that's a little overdramatic, considering I did just save your life.

Daniel- Don't come near me and don't call me that.

Tyler- Look at you... Daniel, all grown up. Time did you well I see, you're looking quite sexy.

I was absolutely repulsed by his horrid, disgusting words and was reminded of the awful person he truly is.

Daniel- Can't say the same for you.

I said with sass and I could see his eyes flash with a well known anger before he plastered on a fake smile.

Tyler- Oh Daniel, you always were such a charmer.

Daniel- Oh really? I always thought that was you, hiding your true colours with your false exterior charm?

Tyler- Careful now Danny, you're about to cross a line...

Daniel- No Tyler! You're not going to control me anymore! I'm done with you ruining my life!

I finally started sticking up for myself, I'm not his toy... anymore.

Tyler- Oh Danny it's too late now!

Daniel- W-what do you mean?

I tried to look like I wasn't afraid but he is still quite a lot bigger and stronger than I am.

Tyler- Why do you think I'm here Daniel? Do you think I just stumbled upon you being attack by wolf's, far from the village at this hour? No I followed you here when I saw you leaving the kingdom. I saw you getting attacked, I saved you and now you're coming with me.

Daniel- You can't do this!

Tyler- Oh Danny, sweet innocent, air-head Danny, I sure can.

A cold, little, piece of white softly landed on my nose. I looked up to see a blur of white. A thin blanket of snow began coating the forest floor as the temperature began to drop.

Tyler- Look Daniel its snowing, you know you won't make it back to the village without my horse. Don't be hot headed and stupid, now just get on.

I realized what he said was true. No one could survive long in the forest overnight when it snowed and I had nothing to keep me warm. As much as I hated this man, which was a lot, I got on his horse. He swiftly tied my hands to the saddle so I couldn't move. I didn't bother resisting, I didn't have any hope anyway.

Tyler- Speaking of hot headed and stupid where's your sweet little boyfriend Prince Joey?

I immediately became depressed. I didn't want to think about that. I think Tyler noticed.

Tyler- Aww did you cuties break up? How sad.

He said in a mocking fake sad tone.

Daniel- No. We, I just, nothing.

Tyler- No, tell me. I wanna hear what happened with lover boy.

Daniel- Well I don't want to tell you.

Tyler- C'mon, what have you seriously got to lose?

True.

Where's the harm? He's just going to lock me up again anyways.

Daniel- We didn't break up exactly we just had a disagreement.

Tyler- Oooooh a fight, gimmie the details (Me).

Daniel- Well the king is making Joey marry a princess and I didn't want him to. He agreed to doing it for me and some... other stuff... happened and I ended up leaving.

Tyler- Running away.

Daniel- No! ..well, maybe..

Tyler- So you ran away from your sweet Prince because he chose to be a Prince?

Daniel- There's more to it than that.

Tyler- If you say so. So Prince Joey is going to marry a princess, when he's gay?

Daniel- Yeah.

Tyler- Interesting...

I saw Tyler's eyes flash a bit as if he had some great idea or something stupid. I wonder what that was all about.

Tyler- Daniel, I'm letting you go.

Daniel- What? Really?

Tyler- Yes. I'm going to take you to the castle.

Daniel- O-okay...

We finally make it to the castle. I still have no idea why Tyler would let me go but I don't question it, I just go to quickly get off his horse and run to Joey's balcony before he can change his mind.

But before I can Tyler tells me one last thing;

Tyler- I will find you again Daniel. We will be together in the end, you can't fight fate.

I ran.

Tyler's POV (oh no)

I have a new plan now. I can get rid of Prince Joey. This way me and Daniel will be together... forever.
